Tomorrow, my roller derby league are going down to the South Coast Roll at Goodwood motor racing track to skate a marathon to raise money for Catching Lives, a charity providing facilities for the homeless in our county. We've already raised almost £2,500 as a team, which I think is awesome.

I'm unfortunately not taking part due to knee problems, so I figured the least I could do is try and spread the word a bit more. I don't know most of you, and for a lot of you I know this won't even help people in your country, let alone your area. But Canterbury in particular has a really awful homelessness problem which is heartbreaking to see, and the charity we're raising money for provides so many services, like food and a place to shower, to help people get their lives back on track. So if you're feeling generous, have a look at our Just Giving page and donate even just a pound to any of our skaters.

In any case, it's looking to be a really nice and fun day, I'm super excited! It's even meant to be sunny in England for once ;)
