I don't normally write long journals, or any journals for that matter, but I felt like sharing this. So thank you in advance for reading what I have to say :D!

As some of you may know, I've been searching for a job over the past 3-4 months. Having just graduated from school and having no experience, finding a job proved to be one of the hardest things I've done so far in my life. The constant feeling that you failed, because of not hearing back from that one job or not getting past the first interview, really sucks. It makes you want to give up, but if I have learned anything from all this, its that you can't give up. If you really want something, you have to keep going for it. Eventually something amazing will happen! I've also learned that having an awesome support system can make a big difference when you're going thru something like this.

Recently, I travelled to Mississippi for a second job interview. For those who don't know, I live in Georgia. All the way on the east side of Georgia and the interview was all the way on the west side of Mississippi. It took a total of 8 hours to get there. Made sure to get there a day early so I would have time to relax and see the town a bit. It was very nice, not too big, but not a small town either. Interview day came, I was a nervous wreck. I was 30 mins early because I hate being late to anything. I was interviewed by the 3 people that I would possibly be working under. 45 mins of questions and explanations. They asked me questions, I answered as confidently as I could while still thinking in the back of my head "Am I doing bad? I'm probably doing so bad right now". I think they were kinda getting a feel for my personality because the questions weren't as technical as the first interview. After that, I was taken to meet the rest of the people in the department. Everyone was really cool, and what's even cooler, One of the guys was a RT fan! I completely forgot to ask him if he's on the site D: . Then it was time for lunch, which they took me to. A mom-and-pop Italian place located a bit down the road. I got something simple because I was still nervous and didn't want to look like a total pig. To finish off the interview I got a tour of the place, not just the place that could possible be my future workplace but the town as well. I felt pretty good after it was all said and done. Went back to my hotel room and called it a day. Woke up early the next morning to drive back to GA. It was on Saturday so I knew I wouldn't be getting any emails or phone calls. Stayed an extra night where my parents live, due to my GFs car being at the dealership for some car troubles we had on the way to the interview. Got up early today (Monday) and drove home. After settling in and having not received any kind of feedback from the interview, I figured it was done and I would resume my job search on Tuesday. While listening to the newest GGG Podcast (which you should totally go listen to!!) I got a phone call from that all too familiar phone number. I answered, we talked a bit about how it went, how I felt about the whole thing, and how the whole trip was. THEN, I got offered the job!!! Of course I accepted, its exactly what I was looking for and I'm definitely going to be learning a lot! I HAVE A JOB!!!!! :DDDDDDDD

So with that being said, I'd like to thank everyone that I have met on this site. Especially the members from the GGG group. Without them I probably would have felt miserable during this whole process. This list would probably take up most of this post, so I won't list everyone, @Killerkel, @BeepBep, @McDom, @kemix9207, and of course everyone I couldn't list because this post is already super long. Thank you guys, for being Good Guy Gamers and for being my friends!
