I usually don't post serious stuff on here but I'm making an exception. For about a year now my wife's grandfather had been fighting leukemia, and a rather aggressive non-curable form at that. He had been going to Chapel Hill's cancer treatment center for his initial treatmentsetup and continued his kemo at home here. For a while the cancer got beat and he was in remission. It came back and he started another kemo treatment and eventally he went to Duke to try a new treatment. Last week he had a reaction to the treatment and was immediately taken off. They then examined him to see if they had made any progress. They are giving him 2-4 weeks left to live.
Naturally my family is distraught over this. So if you guys find the time in your thoughts and prayers, my family could use the encouragement and strength.
