Today I read Batman: Hush and Batman: The Long Halloween.

I loved the illustrations of Hush and the whole story. I didn't know anything about either of them when I started reading. Somehow I managed to avoid reading the back of the books to get an idea of what I was getting into. It's weird now that I think about it, that I didn't do. Anyway. I'm a bit of a sucker for that Batman and Catwoman love story going on. It's definitely an interesting relationship amongst the chaos going on in their world.

The Long Halloween's ending definitely left me with my jaw hanging. Very nicely written and an ending I was not expecting.

I think this just solidifies that I will be taking more of an interest into reading graphic novels. I have a Spider-Man one I bought at NYCC two years ago and haven't read, will be getting on that soon. Tomorrow I'm getting the Greatest Hits of Harley Quinn and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it.

Hope you're all having a wonderful week. If you have any graphic novel recommendations, shoot them in the comments, just nothing too heavily related with Superman. I've never been a big fan of him.
