RTX 2017 came and went in a flash. I sit here in the office thinking about how quickly the weekend went by and but how absolutely amazing it was. I laughed, I cried, I sang and danced to Frank Turner's  Four Simple Words at a bar, I saw and hugged so many familiar faces and I met many new ones that were an absolute pleasure to spend time with over the weekend. I walked 25.4 miles over the three days at the con, I took pictures for attendees and watched people laugh, cry, and saw pure joy burst across people's faces during signings or meetings with Jon. I chatted with attendees and even got a sweet instapic photo with one and had him and his girlfriend sign it as they were just so kind and sweet.

I was thanked by so many attendees for helping out and this is where this journal leads to. This is the reason why I love being a guardian. To see people from the community so ecstatic and happy and to help them as best as I can so they can enjoy their RTX. The hours are long, your legs hurt by the middle of the second day, but it is so so SO worth it when you see attendees smile. And the people who stick around to cheer on the guardians? You make me tear and choke up every fucking year that I do this. So thank you.

And to all the Guardians. You are all fucking amazing. Even though we work on different teams, we are a family, everyone supports one another and I am eternally grateful for each and every one of you who helped out during any signing, signatures, getting across the floor, and helping organize lines as I was running around with Jon. You are beautiful amazing people, thank you!

And last but not least, the PA team. You all slayed so hard this year and I couldn't be prouder to be a part of that with you all. Jackie and Jenn lead us like the true leaders that they are, and we conquered the weekend! Thank you for everything you all do!

Time to fuck off now before I start crying at my desk from getting emotional lol. Till next year!
