...Want not.

So it's January 1st, My month of Detoxing is over. What have I learned from this?

Well for starters that I can go to a party dry as a bone and still enjoy myself. Never thought I'd be able to sit or talk to a bunch of drunk  let alone young drunk people and still enjoy myself. 

That I really don't need junk food but ffffffuuuuuuuck it's hard. There is something gratifying about being able to grab a bite to eat after a long day of school, podcasting, let's playing. Alsop being in an apartment with no oven means I'm stuck with sandwiches, tv dinners and free breakfast.

I don't miss the taste of any alcohol. I really thought I was going to struggle with not wanting a taste of something but in all honesty I just consumed a lot of water and I was fine. 

Mind you I am finishing a 1500 ml bottle of sparkling wine. The only reason I am is because I paid money for this and no one else had some. 

I think after this experiment I'll be bale to greatly reduce the junk I eat and keep my drinking to special occasions only. 2018 is going to be a very interesting year.
