Hello anyone and everyone reading this! I have finished my first year fully studying film at The University of Colorado at Denver and this semester has been hella hectic for me. So, where I have been is tied up in school work and finishing up my short film for Production 1. With this semester down I have now finished 72 credit hours at a 4.0 GPA (hallelujah, it was touch and go for awhile), and I have finished my last non-major specific class. For those of you that don't know, my major is film and television production and I got into that because of all the times Rooster Teeth has entertained me and made me smile. I guess I just wanted to provide that for other people!  jack

Back to the short film (shameless plug coming up at the end of this paragraph). It was an amazing experience pitching the script I had written and having it chosen for production. Doing all the directing stuff required--especially pre-production--was a little stressful, but insanely enjoyable. I got to work with a cinematographer from Spain named Charlie Gandarias who is also an RT fan, go figure.  elyse He and the rest of my crew were phenomenal and I cannot wait to make more films next year! Anyway here is the aforementioned shameless plug: my short film is titled "A Dance With Death" and is about a bounty hunter who gets captured by his target and must then escape his predicament. I learned a lot from the project and would have done SO many things differently now, but overall I am happy with the way it turned out. I would appreciate it so incredibly much if you would take seven minutes out of your day to give it a watch and leave me some feedback on it.

Anyway, that's where I've been and what I've been doing. I hope to be a little more active around the site this Summer and maybe even have a monthly journal post. Don't laugh, it could happen. Until next time stay awesome my RT family!  bruce
