Let me start out by saying I'm not attacking anyone in individual, this is a commentary on my personal experience and my opinion and action I'm going to take because of it. So here you go:

I'm done being your friend when I get nothing in your return. I'm done making all the effort to be nice or show you that I care when all i get in return is more whining or complaining, or you simply ignore me. Friends don't cause you to stress about them and they listen when something bothers you. It's a mutual relationship, not a parasitic one. Meaning you shouldn't be taking everything and giving nothing back to me in return. Regardless of how fun you are to be around, if you don't listen to me or respect my opinions and make an effort to show that, I'm done making an effort with you. Effort means a lot to me. If you want to be my friend show it. And don't be surprised if I'm now ignoring you and it seems out of the ordinary. That probably means you're in this category.

I don't care about chivalry when it comes to this. Chivalry is for courtship. I'm referring to friendship and that is a two sided arrangement. I acknowledge in courtship that chivalry means the guy has to make more of an effort but I don't start courtship until I'm friends with you.

If you don't like what I'm saying, either talk to me about it or change how you act towards me.

I'm finally in college now, I can't believe its been this long. I'm not really used to writing journals as you can see, but i figured tis event deserved some sort of momento. Speaking of which, I want to watch that movie cause I've heard it awesome. Anyways, I'm at Covenant College and I've been here 3 weeks. I love the south. The girls here are pretty and everyone here at least is nice. Maybe it's a fascade, but I like my fantasy world so much better than real life. Anyways, here's to another 5 years of learning.

I officially hate xbox support. I waited for the people to actually talk to me and got sent through a loop three times with a computer telling it what i needed. finally i got sent to a support "specialist" somewhere in India who had no idea what she was doing and had to tell me what she was doing twice before she could do it. I finally got put on the line with another conflict specialist after waiting for twenty minutes on hold. They had to confirm everything on each end three times.

    • Theory of Alphabeticity

This is my friends theory on something many of you may not have noticed.

Back in Elementary school, the teachers often assigned you seats alphabetically. Now, let me ask you, who do you talk to during class? The person sitting next to you of course.

You might be asking yourself "what does this have to do with this crazy theory of alphabetacillatity whatever which Jack has come up with?"

Well you're in luck! Because I'm going to tell you.

Since people always sat next to and talked to the same people in Elementary School and some of Middle School, they became best friends and always have last names that are close to each other in the alphabet.

For example, if your last name was Helmitzer (you know you're jealous), and say there was someone named Helmer who also went to your school. You've probably been sitting next to this person since Kindergarten. You grew up together right? You had lockers or those "cubby" things next to each other. You hung out on the playground together, and who knows, you probably picked your noses together (well maybe that's a stretch, but you get the point.)

What is the Theory of Alphabeticity you might ask yourself? Well here's its official textbook definition. (Full textbook goes on sale next blue moon).

The Theory of Alphabeticity: The concept that friends habitually have surnames that are in close proximity to one another in the alphabet because of alphabetical seating arrangements and other similar predicaments situations in school.

AP review book version: Your friends have surnames in the same area of the alphabet due to alphabetical seating.

I recently finished reading the Dark Tower series by Steven King, like just now, and I have to say that it was briliantly crafted and wonderfully written. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I kinda want to go back and start all over again. As I expected, the ending was completely unexpected and thankfully I did not have anyone ruin in for me because as far as I know I'm the only person I know that has finished it yet. I did not like the 6th book because it had too much repetitiveness to it and I think it just kinda got old but the last book left me wanting even another one and I'm sure I would read it if one ever did come out. All in all, I would recommend it to everyone and it was awesome and go read it. NOW.

    • Sleep Deprivation

Apparently, being a teenager means that I'm more likely to be bipolar, remember less, be more likely to have a heart disease, get brain damage, be obese, and have cramping. All of this can come from being tired and receiving inordinant amounts of homework so that I am forced to stay up late into the night to finish it. Of course, no one is going to think anything about this but it's yet another reason why school hours should be lessened if not eliminated. Also, according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_deprivation a driver who has been up for 17-19 hours of sleep performs worse than a person with a blood alcohol level of .05%. And they expect us to be fully ready to drive ourselves to school in the mornings at 6:15 in the morning. Completely ridiculous.

Well, off to go do my homework at 10 p.m. so I don't have to be sleep deprived. Yeah right...
