I realize that I dont write here much, well at all unless its in a forum or, well, a forum. O right, the other randomly posted things I post here about something random. I see others who actively use this platform on a daily basis from what they do for Cosplay and personal mind dumps. Check out and support Kaoru27Umi, show her some love as she's going through a tough time right now.
But why I'm here. You could read these, you could give these a passing glance. But doing a brain dump every once in a while, is always nice. So about 10yrs ago come this fall, I randomly started writing a book. It wasnt anything special in the sense of, "I'm going to be author, and I'm going to get this published." This was more so, something to pass the time during Winter Break, and I had time on my hand. I distinctively remember this idea for the book being a itch. The one where you could exactly reach, but you kept trying. Over the course of break I safely had about 20 pages, in it's horribly grammar filled, tense shifting, half awake, half asleep wiriting of this story that had no name.
I think the story itself stemmed from my love of history, especially Japanese history of the Sengoku and Three Kingdoms Era... Thank you Kessen and Dynasty Warriors series for this. Which definitely helped with the love. But also, a book series called "Legend of the Five Rings" which is heavily influenced by Asian Philosophy and culture. And reading those books, must have ignited something in me, along with bidding on things on eBay.
But from that day forward, I kept writing, every chance I got. Even when sleep was there, and I would fall asleep on my keyboard. I kept writing without a real logical conclusion. If anybody ever read it, it was just simply a brain dump that was called my manuscript, haha. By that I mean, is that I write by just writing. Well, back then I did.Now I kinda still write that way, but I'll go into that in later posts. But back then, I would just write whatever made sense, and what logically would happen. I researched more into Japanese history, as well as, other Asian cultures. I never planned anything. Well the one thing I did plan was, numbers for army sizes.
I'll continue writing these as a way to just again, dump as I edit my story again, and work with a close friend to help me get it out there.
