So the RT Live Group has been spreading throughout the deep recesses of the site lately, and it's starting to get a decent bit of attention.

You should wander over to the Rooster Teeth Community group and take a look at the newest interview.

      Also, very importantly:

    • Thoughts on Aussie R18 Classifications

I'm gonna tell a story that happened to me in the last few days. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen something like this, and felt the same way.

So I was at JB HIFI last weekend, and I went to the games section. There I saw a kid handing a copy of Gears of War 2 to his dad, who was already holding a copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The kid was no older than 12! I immediately thought "Does anyone else see this? Does anyone else have a problem with this?"
The kid was also talking to his dad in another language, so I wouldn't expect him to understand classifications and that. I saw them later go up to the counter, where the dad look at his kid, and then the cashier look at the kid and then the dad paid for the games. What the fuck?!

Yesterday I went to Kmart and saw the same thing! I saw a kid under 12 hand his dad a copy of CoD:BO. I'm sure the cashier didn't give a shit.
I thought about it going to the EB Games close by and realised I do the same. Not to my kid, but I help in buying MA15+ games for under 15s, my brother. Now my brother turns 15 in October, but he's been playing MA15+ games with me since I've turned 15 and buy them for myself. I'm sure there are others that have kids under 15 in their household that have access to these games as well. I'm wondering if anyone else is aware that they're not exactly helping the cause as much as they would like.

Now I'm thinking how an R18 rating would work. Would it be regulated like alcohol and cigarettes? Would cashiers refuse sale if they see a minor hiding behind his parent? Why isn't this the same with the MA15+ rated games now?

1 Million members! Good job everyone.
I would like to say a special mention for those who lost their old account and made new ones. Without you, we'd probably have our millionth member as someone who isn't as awesome as this dude.

Saun, you know I rolled 1 million first

A few hours ago, Burnie Burns posted that he has added Melbourne for their events in October. This instantly became the third best present of the day.
Also a special thanks to dannywboy for announcing it on the RTOZ fb group.

There's a certain event on a popular social networking site. This particular event is named : 1 000 000 Support Japan with a click . It's information box states the way to spread invites to the event, as well as two links: one of the group that made the event, and another less popular event from the same group. That's it. No links to Red Cross or GlobalGiving. The other, less popular event does.

This particular even, last I checked has 575,893 "attending". I don't exactly know if these 575,893 have donated or not, but it's probably a good assumption that a staggering majority did nothing else. No donating or visit to relief efforts.
Remember the less popular event, the one with the links? It has 7,222 "attending", with a majority that would probably have donated.

It makes me so fucking mad. Mad enough to swear after a sophisticated piece of writing. Fuck.

I usually can't stand videos on Machinima.com, save Inside Gaming Saturday, but this is a great little gem that would hopefully continue past single digit episodes.

Forgot to post a journal yesterday. Kept myself busy procrastinating uni work, designing shirts for RvB OZ and ARTST. Photobucket link!
      Uni work now? Maybe...

    • Daily Journal?

I've had a journal entry for the past 2 days, I guess I should continue? Less than 100 word challenge?
Drunk Tank today. Definitely the best 2 and a half minutes start at the 20 min mark. Maybe I should listen to my Uni lecture podcast...
Speaking of procrastinating, designed a few shirts that was just rolling inside my head. Its good to take them out of my head, and realised on an image.
