Ok, so, I'm having some wonders/doubts/whatever about my major. Right now I'm majoring in Accounting and I HATE my classes. I talked to an advisor today, and I have my 3 classes in the spring and 8 others to take and then I'm done. I thought about changing my major to finance (supposedly it's easier) and I'd have 11 classes to take for it. The thing with keeping accounting is 5 of those 11 classes, I have to get better than a C because in all upper level ACCT courses, we have to get at least a C, and I need better than because we also have to maintain a 2.5 GPA. Needless to say, school is kicking my arse and I'm getting tired of it altogether. What do you guys think? Keep my major? Change it? Or do the mystery third option?

      Trapt - Lost Realist

My independence is calling my name
A doubtful voice divides my faith
      My independence only hesitates
An unsure choice I can't embrace
You're gonna have to carve me,
      Carve me from stone
      Right to the bone or
      I'll end up alone
      Playing the role
      Of someone in control

Why do I rush to slow down
Why do I rush to slow down everything
Why do I rush to slow down
Why do I rush to slow down everything

      Will the dice ever roll
      When will I ever know
      Will the plot ever twist
      Or will I still resist
I've been playing the part of a lost realist

My indepednce is turning the page
Tomorrow comes we start to fade
      My independence only complicates
It's not enough to meet half way

You're gonna have to carve me
      Carve me from stone
      Right to the bone
      Or I'll end up alone
      Playing the role
      Of someone in control

Why do I rush to slow down
Why do I rush to slow down everything
Why do I rush to slow down
Why do I rush to slow down everything

      Will the dice ever roll
      When will I ever know
      Will the plot ever twist
      Or will I still resist
I've been playing the part of a lost realist

I only keep what I give away
I only keep what I give away

Why do I rush to slow down
Why do I rush to slow down everything
Why do I rush to slow down
Why do I rush to slow down
      Everything

      With the dice ever roll
      When will I ever know
      Will the plot ever twist
      Or will I still resist
I've been playing the part of a lost realist

Why do I rush to slow down
Why do I rush to slow down everything
Why do I rush to slow down

*Edit* If you don't feel like reading all of it, skip down to where it says "Ok," and start from there, lazy punks.

WAHOOO!!! I'm back from "Joisey" and MAN was it fun. I'm working on getting pictures uploaded, trying not to keep you in suspense for too long. Friday we left for New Jersey for the weekend, and let me tell you, it is one LONG-ARSE trip if you're drivin'. Took us all of 12 hours to get there. It's an all day thing; luckily for us, I had a 3rd season of Family Guy and 3 season of Aqua Teen Hunger Force to ease the pain. Saturday was spent running around aimlessly trying to find something to do. Well, we finally figured to get some lunch at Applebee's (yum). One of the waitresses there looked like Amy Lee from Evanescence, just a little short. Could have just been me, but she was cute too. After that we made our way down to Long Branch beach and stood there for about 30 mins. just watchin crap happen. I don't remember much after that. Must not have been much fun.

Sunday was spent doing some more stupid crap up until about 5 when a wedding happened. Nice little wedding, typical of my family: 45 minute wedding with a 6 hour party afterwords. I know, it *doesn't* sound fair, but whatever floats their boat. Ate some food after the wedding...Chilean Sea Bass. Wow, it was good stuff. Critics say, if you like fish at all, the Chilean Sea Bass is excellent. I believe them. Oh yeah, also want to mention that I had 2 non-virgin Strawberry Daquiri's, and for all of you out there that have never tried them, they are GOOD. There was some sort of rum in mine. I couldn't taste any kind of alcohol, it was just really really sweet. Yummy. I could have had about 5 more of those, but that would have caused some troubles at home.

Monday, the day I'd been waiting for all weekend. Went to the beach for a little longer that day. Well, I didn't go because I hate the beach, but other people did. I just hung around waiting for them to remind themselves how much sand sucks and how much it sucks to get ocean water any place other than on your skin (in your mouth, eye, ear, etc.). Got done at the beach and grabbed a quick bite to eat before heading off to meet Chris and go to a concert (YAY!). We got lost on our way, which I'll tell more about that later. Met up with Chris and there's only one way I can think of to sum him up. Two words: Goofy Bastard. Chris is a really funny person, and if you ever get to meet him, do so. It'll make your day better. I've known Chris for about 2 or 3 years now and finally got to meet him, and it was insanely cool. If he lived within driving distance, there would be some major shenanigans going on. If I'm ever up that close again, I'll be spending more than just 4 hours hanging out. Cheers, you goofy bastard. smiley0.gif

Ok, so I know you're all dying to know how the concert went. Well, it was incredible. My ears are still ringing 24 hours later. 30 Seconds to Mars is a pretty decent band, and despite not being well-know, they put on a decent show. They definitely inspired me to buy a cd or 2 very soon. Next up was Taproot. Oh. Em. Gee. What a show. What a freaking show. I know I don't get around to concerts much, but they were the most energetic band I've ever seen. Their lead singer made his way through the crowd twice during their set, once right to the middle of the mosh pit, but he got out pretty quick. They were also so loud that a few times during their play-time, they'd hit a note, and it'd make me dizzy. I only knew one song of theirs, but I'll probably be learning some more soon, when I pick up another couple cd's. Last up was Chevelle. I don't care what any body says about them, they are one of my favorite bands, maybe even most favorite out of new/recent bands. They put on a good show too. Played about 14 songs including a 2 song encore. Such an awesome show. I wish I could have recorded the whole thing. That would have been just perfect. Speaking of, there were these 2 fat chicks, and I mean fat chicks, in front of us at the concert. One was about 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide. Well, this particular one got caught making a video recording of the show with her camera. The security guard made his way up, watched her for a little, looked right at me, smiled and shook his head like, "Stupid, stupid people." I laughed when they got pulled out. So did Chris, for a good minute or 2 after they were gone. This is just one example of how he's a Goofy Bastard. Another would be after the concert, he just kept singing this stupid song..."Tony Danza cuts in line...That's old school Hollywood." Goofy, goofy, goofy. After the concert, we got a drink; I got a Bawls for the first time. Let me put your mind at ease, it tastes like a pack of Smarties. K, you can all go home now. After that, Chris was nice enough to take me back to the hotel, where we kissed goodnight and cried in each others arms because we knew it would be the last time we'd see each other for a while. Not really, but he does have nice arms. Very buff...he must work out...Anyways, it was an awesome night and I wish I could relive it. That's about all for now until I get some pics up for all you hardcore fans out there. 'Til then...

P.S. Jersey SUCKS! You and all your fricking ROADS...you make me SICK!!!
P.P.S. This goes out to melstar who's too lame to warrant an invite to come with us. Ha ha. smiley8.gif

Long time, no update, I know, I know...But I've never been one to disappoint (much), so here's an update for all 2 of you that read my journals when I post them.

Last week, I spent the whole week in Charlotte visiting some friends of mine that decided to up and leave me a few months ago. I'm not one to lose good friends so easily either. It was an extremely good time, and if I had the chance to go back and change any of it, I'd only change one thing. One of them had to work all week...I'd change his work schedule or blow up the place where he works so he'd be free for the week. But that's it. I learned one thing while in North Carolina. I learned how to "contribute to the delinquincy of a minor," and it's not a hard thing to do, contrary to what you'd think. The one friend that wasn't working all week and I decided to go out for some drinks one day. We go to a package store and pick out our poison and go to ring it out. The clerk has to see both our id's, even though I tell him I'm the one that's buying. No go. My friend tells him that he's not 21 and the guy says he can't sell it to us b/c of that reason I stated above. True story, funny stuff. Not to be outsmarted, we ventured to the grocery store that's 2 mins. away from their apartment and get the stash anyways. Two 6-packs of Bacardi's and a pack of Mike's Lemonade. That night was a fuuuuuuun night. Me and the guy that went out with me for the drinks had 7 a piece and the working one had 3, one of each. Needless to say, 2 of us were slightly buzzed. I thought I remembered quite a bit from that night, but apparently it's not enough. I slumped over and passed out around 1 A.M. sitting sideways on a couch and didn't move for a good 2 or 3 hours. I also had to take a whiz 6 times in one hour. Every time I got up, it got harder to walk, and everytime I went, it was crystal clear. Weird. That was about the biggest thing that happened all last week. We did go to Carowinds, but spent no more than 2 1/2 hours there b/c *nobody* was around and we rode everything we wanted to.

This weekend, I'll be traveling to New Jersey. Don't ask me what exit, I don't know. I know we're staying in Edison, and that's all I'll say about that. One of my cousins is getting married and we are so lucky to get to go. The sucky part of the trip is driving from here to there in a day (about 12 hours). Ugh. The awesome thing about the trip is I get to see a concert while up there. Monday night, Chevelle, Taproot, and 30 Seconds to Mars will be playing at the Starland Ballroom. Chevelle is one of my favorite bands, and I'm sooooooooooooo looking forward to seeing them. The other thing is I'll get to meet Brakus while I'm there. We've known each other for a couple years now, and I finally get to meet him. Oh rapture!!! Brakus looks like Stephen Baldwin if you look at him right, and I would go gay for him anyday. Not really. I don't play butt darts, I love the ladies.

I guess that's about it for now. If I come up with more, I'll edit this and make you read the whole thing again to find what's new. Har har. Laters!

      Disarm you with a smile
And cut you like you want me to
      Cut that little child
Inside of me and such a part of you
      Ooh, the years burn

I used to be a little boy
      So old in my shoes
And what i choose is my choice
What's a boy supposed to do?
The killer in me is the killer in you
      My love
I send this smile over to you

      Disarm you with a smile
And leave you like they left me here
      To wither in denial
The bitterness of one who's left alone
      Ooh, the years burn
Ooh, the years burn, burn, burn

I used to be a little boy
      So old in my shoes
And what I choose is my voice
What's a boy supposed to do?
The killer in me is the killer in you
      My love
I send this smile over to you

The killer in me is the killer in you
Send this smile over to you
The killer in me is the killer in you
Send this smile over to you
The killer in me is the killer in you
Send this smile over to you

And if you don't know who that's by, you need to start listening to music.

Edit: Oddly enough... this and this 2nd if you have adobe. Happiness, for everybody!!!

Take a look at the first line under my screen name up there. See how it says "21 year old"? Yeah, that just changed today. I turned legal today, bizatches. What now?!?! So, I'm writing this from work. Yes, I had to freaking work on my freaking birthday. Freaking gay, right? Well, what's even gayer is that I got pulled over on my way to church this morning. Not a good thing, I know. I was doing 70 in a 50, and you wouldn't think it, but teh po-lice will pull you over for that. Go figure. He didn't give me a ticket though, which was really something awesome. He said I had nothing on my record and that he'd let me go if I promised to slow down. So, of course I agreed to slow down. In 5 years of driving, that is my 2nd time being pulled over. My record is mighty clean, and I am proud.

Last night kicked some major arse. We went out to Hard Rock Cafe for my birthday dinner since I'm working today. It was a fun time. Our server was cool. She gave me a hard time and I gave it right back to her. She got word that it was my b-day, so she really pumped up the picking. That was fine, I just gave her a harder time too. In the end, she won though. After we were done eating, she comes out with a sundae and grabs a chair and puts it in the middle of the restaurant. Crap. She motions for me to come over, and, reluctantly, I do. She tells me to stand up in the chair, and I'm like, you gotta be fricking kidding me. Whatever, I can be an attention whore, so I get up in the chair. She hands me the sundae, lights it, and asks me if I have a name or if I want her to make one up. I tell her to make one up and she's like, you really don't want me to. So, I tell her my real name. Then she yells out, "Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention? This is Camerron and it's his 21st birthday." Everybody hoops and hollers now...then she's like, "So on the count of 3 I want you all to yell out Happy Birthday." And the rest is self explanitory. It was pretty cool. I've never been put on public display like that. It's quite the experience. Oh! I picked up the coolest shirt EVAR while I was there. It's made by Fender and it says, "Musician looking for groupies" HA! That's awesome! So, I'll now be taking applications for groupies. Nobody under the age of 16 will be accepted. Sorry, you're just too freaking young, 16 is pushing it anyways. That's about it for now. The store is about to close and I really do not feel like being here any more so, I'm going to get off of here so I can go home ASAP. Later, peeps

    • I can take a hint...honestly...

All right, so it's been a while since I updated. Big whoop, wanna fight about it? Anyways, what's been goin on? Well, I got my birthday present early, a week ago last Sunday. I got a Sony PSP and it is fricking sweet. The system itself just looks awesome, but that's only half of it. The picture quality is amazing. Unbelievable. I love it. I also bought Metal Gear: Acid for it. Yes, I bought the MG card game, eat me. Truth is, I'm enjoying it. It's very strategic, and I like it. The story is a little off.....just in general, it's out there, but it's still fun to play.

Classes are finally winding down. I've got 2 finals left to take, and I can't wait for this week to be over. I've got just under 2 weeks until my birthday as well. That's gonna be good stuff. I'm going out to Charlotte the Thursday of that week. Gonna see Episode 3 and prob the Hitchiker's Guide. Got a paintball trip coming up that I should go to. All sorts of things going on. That's about it for now. I need to do a write-up for my Cost Accounting class so that I don't get a D. Goody.

Not necessarily...There's ok rap, and then there's em and 50. Em is pop rap and just sucks altogether. 50 cent, tho, is probably the worst rapper I've ever heard. I guess you could also have fun rap, like Trick Daddy - Let's go or even some nelly songs aren't that bad.
