So, on Wednesday we were set our final project assignment, due in tomorrow, to complete an Evaluation of our Showcase to a professional level. Boom. I thought "That'll be easy, two pages, a few pictures, nice." NOPE. 11 pages, no pictures and 7015 words later, I finally finished the Evaluation, dead on midnight too. If that's not a distinction, I will curl up. Cry my eyes out. And hate the world..

    • Anime Update!

So, I recently finished two anime that I'd not seen before (well I say finished) they were both amazing! Here's the current list of anime viewings that have occurred recently :)

      On-going Series: Bleach [Dubbed]

      Recently Aired: Fate/Zero [Dubbed]

      DVD [UK]: D-Gray Man [Finished]

Blu-Ray: High School of The Dead [Finished]

Waiting For: Sword Art Online [Dubbed]

The reason that the two DVD/Blu-Ray series aren't actually finished is because D-Gray Man got cancelled after it's second English season, they literally cut it half way through the story-line, which is a major disappointment! (I can always watch the subbed version though, which is a plus!) and HOTD also stopped half way through the story-line, though it wasn't cancelled, season two is expected at some point this year, it has to be one of my favourite anime now that I've finally seen the entire series, so I can't wait for season two!

Wish I didn't have to pay bills so I could afford to be a sponsor, it's sad because it's really cheap too!! I hate all you sponsors who get to see RvB season 11 before me D:

    • KH3, FFXV, SWBF3, SSBU!!!!

Well! A host of developers have finally come out of the shadows and taken centre stage once again, if you ask me, it's about time too!

I'm very please to see Square Enix making a come back, with such a huge interest being shown in Final Fantasy XV (previously Final Fantasy Versus XIII). From what gameplay has been shown, it looks to be less of a turn-based game and more of a free-form fighting game, with you taking control of the protagonist Noctis and being able to run around, fight enemies at will, and even conjure up Noctis' swords and hurl them at enemies from afar! It looks to be a VERY interesting game, and something fans of FF have been waiting for for a long time!

Another title in the works by Square Enix, and one that has been long, long awaited by fans across the world, Kingdom Hearts 3! You don't have to be a fan of the FF series for this game to interest you at all, these games are set in multiple worlds, have an open area combat type feel and are just generally great RPG/Action games. The trailer didn't give too much away, except that the story seems to be set in the same time as the previous games, looking to be a direct follow on even! The little gameplay that was shown was great too, it seems to have significantly improved in graphics, and from looking at it, it seems like the feel of the game has improved as well, with better visuals and a more interactive world!

In my opinion, EA also made an incredible come back this year (Not that they weren't doing well, but I'm not a fan of any type of sports game really, so they weren't a very impressive developer.) with the reveal of Star Wars Battlefront III!! This is yet another long awaited title, fans are finally getting what they've asked for! They've only shown a teaser trailer so far, and tease is exactly right, the trailer literally shows what we can assume to be the protagonist (of some sorts anyway) crawling on a snowy planet (possibly Hoth?) with explosions going off all around the character, and it ending with the foot of an AT-AT stomping down directly in-front of the character, this being said, that trailer alone, was enough to get myself and thousands of others hyped for it's inevitable release in the coming year! The engine used was Frostbite 3, great visuals, and an engine you may be kind of familiar with.. That's right! Frostbite 2 was the Engine used for BattleField 3, with the new and improved Frostbite 3 being used with both SWBF3 and BattleField 4!

These were all announced at the Sony panel during E3, and although Nintendo didn't have their own panel, it's safe to say, they were not there to disappoint! With a number of games being showcased, including Animal Crossing, Pokemon X & Y! and a new Zelda title, one of the biggest eye-catchers, and returning franchises for fans, was Super Smash Bros. U! Or ultimately titled Super Smash Bros. as this time, it's being released for both the Wii U AND the 3DS, so anyone who wants to enjoy the experience of SSB will now be able to wherever they go, with the comfort and ease of their 3DS! I have a feeling that the Wii U version will contain some additional features, and will have a much better gameplay format, but it's still exciting to know that those of us who don't yet have the Wii U, can still get us some SSB action in the coming year! I also have a feeling that there are going to be platform specific characters (Japanese developers are known for doing this, sadly) which means those who have the Wii U version could end up with a different roster than those with a DS. All the more reason to get both, I say! But what we do know, is that both versions will contain at least two new characters, the first revealed in the trailer was Villager, he seems like an interesting character, being very similar in attack type to Ness. The big reveal, and what the majority of the trailer was based around, was the amazing, the increible.. MEGA-MAN! That's right, mega-man was confirmed as a playable character in the next SSB title, not only that but he has a huge variety of attacks, including his famous mega-blaster, flame sword, and fire-spray cannons! I'm excited for this title, to say the least, I'll be picking up my 3DS around September time, awaiting the release of Pokemon X & Y (which the official trailer 2 was also released for at E3) this October, so I'll be all set to grab 'SSB3D'? when it's released!

Thanks guys, I'll try to keep you updated with what ever information I can gather! :) If there's a game you're looking forward to, post it in the comments and I'll try to dig up some dirt on those too!

    • E3 Recap - Microsoft

Well, if I wasn't sure before, I most certainly am now! The Xbox One is a must have for any 360 fan and generally any gamer who wants to sit in front of the TV, relax, and beast some video games!

The panel itself was a great eye-catching display of information and stunning visuals, I'm impressed with how well strung together the game trailers were, nice and appealing in that regards, and the choice of titles to showcase, I mean come on, anyone who opens with a MGS free-roaming, open world shooter, is a winner, right? Not too mention the excitement of a new Halo title! And the new franchise titles EXCLUSIVE to Xbox One like; project spark, titanfall, Ryse: Son of Rome, Qauntom Break, etc. And then.. The return of Minecraft.. That's right! Minecraft has been confirmed for the Xbox One! What do we call it now you ask? MinecraftOne of course! Many fans of the 360 have been waiting for it, and they got it!

I feel like Microsoft really have pulled it back this time around, my mind is now clearly made up, I'll be getting both consoles! For those who would ask 'why? Why would you do that?!' my answer is simply, because I enjoy games. (and anime, which most anime based games are JPNS only, so a PS4 is required, as it's multi-regional, so I can play my JPNS games on it)

Are there any fans of Bastille around here?? My bands considering covering one of their songs, possibly two, and I was wondering if anyone on here had any ideas/favourites that we could try??

Let me know in the comments or a message! :)

P.S. My Video Project of RvB has been temporarily removed, I'm trying to sort the licensing out now with RT so hopefully it will be back up soon and you can all let me know what you think :)
The Music for the video (which I wrote myself) can be found here:

    • Moving is too much effort..

Well, last night was amazing, to say the least, my band played a gig at an awesome venue, I ended up engineering for some of the other bands there too, which was tiring but fun!

And now I have college in just over an hour, and can't be bothered to move.. This may be a problem.

I just wanted to let you know, that RWBY looks incredible! The animations are perfect, the voices go great, and the fight sequences.. Wow! I can't wait to discover the storyline :D

For now though, I'll be taking the trailers and putting together an AMV with clips from each one.. Hopefully I'll have it done before the premiere at RTX, still unsure on whether to write the music though..

All I can say is.. Hurry up RWBY!!
