This week, we start of at the tavern looking at the job board. Every job on the board has it's own continuing story line for those who are wondering. They have to get a reputation before any one seeks them out.
Our heroes choose to escort a gnome on a research expedition. Lotho, being a slightly racist halfling is obsessed with her height. While Lowaia is more keen to the fact they both have fake arms. They take a couple of days to get to the ruin where bandits are camping. They come up with a plan of attack, and take out the bandits. As they attack, the gnome they escort wraps herself in her cloak, and snaps a vile that turns it to stone.
They get to where they feel is a good place to rest, lotho proceeds to gather all the Mastiff that the bandits where using as attack dogs. While they take the short rest, he pried out all the canine the dogs has.
They move on and find out the bandits are being lead by a gready Harpy. When they defeat her, lotho then De feather the harpy.
They make it back to town after almost getting smashed by a random encounter ogre. Before leaving the gnome, lotho steals the cloak off the gnomes back thinking it was what turned her to stone.
Lotho announces that he has all these dog teeth and harpy feathers. They hatch a plan to sell them. They spend the next day, creating a bunch of rings out of copper, dog teeth, and cut up harpy feathers.
Before the sell, Lowaia uses presdidigitaion on them to make them appear silver, and uses disguise self to make herself look like a man. Daeirra uses her animal form to change into a horse in case they need to get out in a hurry. Lowaia than gets up and starts heralding the crowd, offering love jewelry made from harpy feathers and vampire teeth, and yes I made her get up and do it in real life. Her performance roll was an 18, so she got a good crowd. Then I rolled investigation for city folk...3. I then made her roll a few more checks to see how many of each were sold and whether the ubsurd amount of 5 gold for 1 ring and 10 for the other. They got over two hundred gold a piece.
I think I better start getting the gaurd involved, especially since they turned to copper after they left.
