One of the things in my life that I take for granted is being surrounded by people who support me.
My family came to visit me at university two weeks ago, and spent the entire day asking me about my course, wanting to see what I have been working on and asking if I needed anything. My mum then took me out for lunch and brought me new PJs, cosy socks and candles to make my room all cosy and warm because I'm missing most of the christmas build up with my family.
All my friends message me once a week, one of them just moved to Austria. We keep each other in the loop and have that nice little release from what ever is happening that side. Another one of my friends just started her own business, and has asked me if I will do the hair and makeup for the launch event in March. This is such a huge night for her and she trust me to run a huge part of it.
Finally, @LiamRolo. I have been an utter nut job recently with stress, work load and adapting to all the new shit in my life. He has just been this force of nature that knows how to calm the crazy, and by that I mean telling me to stop being a stupid arsehole, and get on with it. (Which sounds worse than it is... I'm a stubborn bitch and need to hear that stuff. He knows what motivates me.) He tells me everyday how I am worth it and how my dreams are important. He knows that I want to lose more weight and how my self esteem has hit a very, very low point, He supports my goal but reminds me that he fell in love with me for me. Pretty much everything a girl wants to hear.
Home is where ever that lot are. No matter how rough the road gets, I know I have people to pick me up when I trip, probably break a leg or dislocate my knee (which i have done recently again by the way). They will brush me off, bandage me up and walk that road with me, like the fucking Wizard Of Oz.
There is no place like home.
