Char Aznable came first though. Sorry but Zechs has nothing on Char.

Definitely expected, I believe people got motion sickness because they stared at the screen and didn't move their eyes.

The biggest advantage for me was that, the loud, rumbling theater and the high rise seating helped too. My eyes knew exactly how to move with the camera for some reason.

See, the thing is, me and various other fans were attatched to these characters emotionally long before you ever saw the movie. We learned who these people were back in freaking September. Everyone from the bitch Jamie Lascano to the two best buds Rob and Hud.

Beyond that, we also knew of the imminent danger and sadly, could not do a thing. Though it was merely a viral marketing scheme on the internet, it felt like a link between our world and the alternate reality the cloverfield existed in. Amongst that, things have been changing. Various stuff like modifications made to the slusho.jp site and 1-18-08.com have continued our pondering.

That being said, we also learned a lot beforehand. There's so much background that ACTS as information to explain what happened. That monster DIDN'T just suddenly pop out of the ocean, it was ENTICED by tagruato, an oil company that was drilling out in the atlantic ocean. The very same oil station that the monster started from was destroyed.

There are full fledged videos out there, news reports and a vlog from one of the characters, albeit the one who makes a mere cameo.

Cloverfield was a very large experiment. It took viral marketing to a whole new level and sparked quite a hyped up phenomenon. Those who were awaiting its release pretty much went into the theater and came back out feeling that every penny, nickel, dime, quarter or dollar was spent well.

Also, motion sickness comes in different variations. For me, my biggest problem is being unable to read and be in a moving vehicle at the same time. My recommendation for your next viewing? Have your eyes follow the way the camera jerks.

Becoming attatched to the characters was the goal. By placing you in their shoes, you felt for them and had a mild sense of fear. The sights a person experienced were definitely worthy of shivers and jumps, but overall the attatchment you felt was predictable.

      In closing, R.I.P. Hud. :(

I got a question, is Ike contriol a bit like Roy, Roy was one of my best. But Shiek replaced him, and Roy got bumped to my top five

Primarily the problem is that... It feels like a horrible spinoff TO the Crystal Chronicles series. A spinoff within a spinoff.

And the other problem people have is that after they complete it, being set only a 100 years before FFCC doesn't make sense. They said a full millennium would make more sense.

      Just wanted to mention...

I picked up FF:CC alongside Pearl. Don't buy it, it's not anything special. :(

Ike only runs faster than Ganondorf, Bowser attacks slower than Ike, Wario is slower than passing a kidney stone, other than that Ike is the slowest. I thought Ike was fast like Roy, but he is tragically suck-tacular.

Thanks man, I appreciate the help.

Also, if you can post a small little post on how I get a Riolu and when, that would help too.

Part of the reason I bought Pearl was for Palkia, the other... Was for Lucario.

I should throw out there, the title I have is my finishing place in that gamestop tournament. Probably was a lot more fair to others than that Pokemon tournament they had with people cheating and using multiple legendary creatures and shiny avatars.

But I'm actually gonna be getting it tomorrow and chances are it'll take me a few good days to get through to where I have a team of about 3 or 4 level 30's and higher... I'm playing an old copy of Emerald I sto- I mean borrowed from a friend of mine and I'm mostly doing it to remember how to play the damn game.

I gotta say, leveling is definitely the biggest challenge I remember in this. Lots of grinding and stuff. Hopefully through with the redefining of abilities and the 3 skill types, physical, special and status, the game has a bit more strategy. I've heard people going on and on about how the DEPTH of the game was what was refined so maybe I'll appreciate it for that...

That and the single player mode should cover maybe a good 20-40 hours.

Wow... Someone... DIFFERENT reading my journal entries?

The only thing setting me off from Diamond is that Dialga is cool and all, but I think I like Palkia's description more.

But I might get pearl if Diamond is really the bigger title out there... Would make it easier for me to get Diamond creatures after all.

I've been playing Brawl for fun too but lemme tell ya, without friends IN my household to compete with and the online kinda 'meh', it just isn't as fun as I remember Brawl being. D:

The game is awesome but like most WFC games, they suck without hearing the groan of your opponent as he's KO'd or even just a chat message.

The customized taunts help a bit though.

But yeah, I'm probably gonna pick up Pearl tomorrow... Do you have one of the game? I could probably use some help getting started since I don't plan to get the guide (And pre-plan my team for gym battles >>;;)

Kinda gave up on the poke series a few years ago cause nothing is changing... Hopefully Gamefreaks will hold off on the collaboration title where you can capture Diamond AND Pearl creatures and get cracking on a reworking of the series. I'm with the ain't broke don't fix it thing but the only problem is that they recycle the pokemon one too many times and the story is getting WAY too boring and repetitive.

      Plus, fans like me would really like a much more mature story this time around. >>;;
