I was reading the news (at work, haha!) regarding the situation about Iran. I agree that they have a president who is not the sharpest in the shed, after all he went to a convention with a few other leaders, including the head of the KKK, trying to prove that the Jewish Holocaust didn't have that many casualties (history says 6 mil, they said like 0.5 mil). The Iranian leader also has a problem recognizing Isreal's right to exist, which is the same as saying he wishes they were all dead. However, I can't help but notice the American press are trying to find every shred of dirt to find a reason to go to war again like in Iraq. I understand we don't want them to have nuclear weapons, but come on! The news headlines is what I'm complaining about, if you read everything printed then you find that they can't make nuclear weapons, and the IAEA doesn't have anything yet suggesting that they can have nuclear weapons. Yet headlines suggest how 'worried' the pentagon is that they will have it soon and... Oh hey! Look they have enriched uranium (even though it is only 5% enriched and nuclear weapons use 90% enrichment). In other words, I just wish that the news would not make it such a hot topic until it could actually be one. Some journalists have seen this and complained about it, but never end up on the front of Yahoo news or the front of any news for that matter. So now we have many Americans starting to jump the fear factor and suggest the "kill'em all" method. Isn't our country under enough economic stress? I don't want another dime in the Industrialized War Machine, nor to play these political games. We can kill all we want in the video games and it doesn't cost anywhere near as much. Well, I vented, back to work.
