      I'm going bloody insane!

I need more time to come on here, I miss talking to you guys.

I have an opportunity to write an article for Reality Sandwich about what I have been doing, so I'm on here procrastinating a bit. Can't get through the whole watch list, because I do have to get started on something soon before I head off to my friends band practice to do some drawing. I'm thinking about expanding upon the blog, get a little more in depth and offer some techniques that other people can do, what do you think?

My brother arrived in London this morning, just had a video chat from him with me sitting in the coffee shop I'm currently at, that was fun! He's having a good time with some new buddies over there and people in the play and festival with him. My brother is the male lead in the play Knuckle Ball, that's a part of the Edinburgh Festival, he does three plays in London starting Monday and then afterwards he's off to Scotland for the Festival. Check it out here

Alright, well, I'm off to try and do something. May just procrastinate more and look at some of your journals. Hope all is well.

      Don't be a stranger!

If you want my cell, give me a PM, don't want to post it here, I have an old fashion cell, none of those fancy internet features, just texting and calling.

Story is hidden within the very fabric of our being. Its bones lay the foundation of our civilization, encompassing every human initiative and interaction, cultivating perhaps the most profound discipline of all human endeavors, showing its many masks from oral tradition of folklore to the visual depictions on the silver screen. For the past 195,000 years, our species' brain neurology has not changed, reaching "full anatomical modernity," save for a prominent leap 35,000-40,000 years ago in which human culture spawned from the deep recesses of the Upper Paleolithic mind, paving the way for the human imagination as we see today, evolving throughout natural and unnatural changes creating a vast network of ever-expanding thought.
As human beings, we are all story tellers. From the corner dry cleaner to a lawyer's closing statement, from the bushman of the Kalahari to a molecular biologist, we all have an individual imprint upon our collective tale as a species. The human story, my story, our story, does not begin or end with solely our collective point of view. Under the surface, on a deeper molecular level, our body’s configuration is continually undergoing transformation and rewrites as cells die and are reborn, and alterations of set and setting begin to adapt the core language that binds us to all life, DNA (more...).

Since you guys have been my first audience for this stuff, you'll see the new stuff first, before I put it on my website, and before those bastard social websites like myspace and facebook!

Sorry I have been on here again, been busy trying everything together for this grad school application. The story is coming along nicely, haven't written anything new in several weeks, but I've been reading through it, editing and such because I need 40 pages to submit for the application. it's about 80 pages long, haven't read it all the way through yet, but I'm actually liking it (which usually frightens me). Still don't really know which pages I'll submit, might as well start from the beginning, but it starts getting really good! Ah well. Nazi's.

Let me know what ya think, it's only 2, maybe 3 I'll be posting, one was finished this week, one last month, and one two months ago. Cost for scanning is getting redonkulous so I'll have to be scattering them like this.

Hope all is well, I'm late for work! (But I'll upload first!)

Shipped out the Sam drawing yesterday, got word back from the manager that it's going to be put up at the bands rehearsal study in Montreal where it will be able to witness further sonic creations, and that I'll be put on the guest list when they're back here this Fall, guess they'll be adding NYC to the tour dates soon smiley0.gif

Been working on my grad school applications, been fun exercising the essay mind set. Good practice before I do the ones for my website. I'm going to be writing essays based on the art (not deciphering them) but rather in the larger thematically contexts.

Completed another drawing last night, there's going to be about 10 that I need to get scanned and put up, I have to save up some money first, supplies are low, and shipping costs too much! But they'll be up soon, I'd take some preview photo's but I can't find my digital camera.

That's about it for now. smiley13.gif

I emailed Sam Roberts Band a few days ago telling them about the piece I did for them in thanks of the energy they donate to us as musicians when I saw them twice back in February, and explained my research involving altered states of consciousness and evolution in consciousness. The band manager loves it and forward it to Sam and the band. I got an email today saying that they loved it and they want to put it up on the websites and twitter. Ain't that cool? smiley0.gif

      Love Revival

I finished two more drawings tonight, now I've got about 7 to scan though they're going to have to wait a tad longer. I got to pay for my car being towed Tuesday ($185) for a new special night regulation that they have going on in Manhattan now (small black strip of a sign really hard to detect, consciously so, allowing Bloomberg to further rape people in Manhattan turning it into an elitist colony) and a $115 parking ticket that accompanied it, and they charge card bill will be coming soon (yay duality) smiley8.gif

Sorry y'all, it's been a little while. How's everyone doing?

I do have new artwork completed just haven't been able to afford to get them scanned just yet. A lot of my time has been devoted to the story I'm writing. It's at about 75 single spaced pages. I'm going to have to select 25 really good pages for my grad school application, I'm going to be applying to a school in Vermont that has a really good MFA program, it's low residency so would only have to make two 10 trips a year. Though I'm still looking at schools that have programs for evolution in consciousness stuff.

Been getting into contact with some really cool people in the field, like Rick Strassman (author of DMT: The Spirit Molecule) and Slawek Wojtowicz (his page with his artwork and essays, whom wrote a 2008 book together Inner Paths to Outer Space which is kick ass, this is the sort of thing I've been researching and wanting to pursue academically and professionally. They are really cool people, wrote back quick as hell and are fans of the artwork! Funny story about that is after I was in touch with Strassman, his advice was to try and find a local mentor and to look at a program in a big name school so I can have my pick with mixing and matching my programs of study. A few months later I find that book in the used book store in my town (where I found out about the Vermont program from the owner and that his brother lives in Peru now studying shamanism). And he tells me that one of the authors was from around here (Slawek).

I wrote to Slawek this week, he lived in my hometown! Unfortunately him and his wife moved to Northern California in December, but he left me his number to get in touch with him and leaving lines of communication open, so that was cool. Can't help feeling that I'm a step behind though, or maybe at least on the right track.

I want to get all the finished scripts truly finished and ready to be read, I think it's time to find representation. Getting into that program will be nice, simply because it will allow me to deter my student loans, and when/if I get my MFA, I'll be able to get my PH D (so with a ba in anthro and an mfa in writing I should be able to continue within anthropology, that's the goal so far).

I'm working on photoshopping the photo's I have of the panels and getting them up on the website. That's pretty much up-to-date. Caitlin and I are still together, hence my loss of time, we can't get enough of each other, we have a tremendous amount in common, it's bizarre. She's the hub of my Karass.

      That's about it for now.

Im pretty good all the way around. Stress-filled times make for stupid decisions and stupid fights. The past is important but only because it enabled one to get where they are now. Though sometimes it seems more important at times and that I do not understand. Hope everything is going ok for you!

I am in summer classes. Just trig but my professor is beyond being a biased jerk. Ill be lucky if I pass this class, which Id better if I want things to go smoothly next semester. Other than trig and a new found friend, I read all the time. Im LOVING the time I have to spend on it now!!!

Not doing too bad matey, not too bad at all. Haven't started my job yet so cash is still damn tight, but at least I've got something and the money will come in eventually :-)

You got things going for you it seems. I know you're busy, but as long as you do spend time with your girl as well as work, then everything will be ok. It's when you work too much to see the people you care about when it becomes a problem.

You're doing what you love, though. That's gotta be something.

North California would probably be wayyyyy better than Arizona to be honest. Its pretty miserable here unless your inside, at least currently. And yes, much closer =)

My summer has been great! Lazy but busy at the same time. I planned on getting a job but Im a bit intimidated since I havent worked in a few years. But its my last summer without an internship(hopefully!) or career and I only have a month off school so I guess its ok that Im a slacker who spends her days playing Sims 3 haha. Other than the financial hardship my family is going through its been fantastic! Im planning a surprise party for my mom, dad, and sister next month and Im really excited to make their lives a little Happier. I start school the week after next so thats a bummer.

But really, I cant complain, lifes pretty damn amazing!

I would love to get a nice typewriter like that. I just wonder if I should get that first or a laptop...preferably a apple laptop. Mostly something i can move around with once in a while. I guess there's always the really old school pen and paper method. But who uses that anymore.

On an extra note old typewriters cost as much as a laptop...if your interested in typewriters found a site called myTypewriter.com. Lot of nice 20s 30s and 40s era typewriters. The ones from the 40s are what spoke to me....as dumb as that sounds.

      Hey dude,
I like your stuff, I think you know this as I've been watching for a while...
with that in mind I'd be very honored if you listened to my song

      The Ballad Of The Queen

I'm a sound recording major, and this was our original composition project, and while I've been recording and writing for a few years now, this is probably the first song I've really tried to advertise... largely because I had access to much nicer and more comprehensive equipment than I would otherwise be able to use...
and also since it was a project, I was much more moved to get it done instead of some half finished idea collecting digital dust as many of my things do these days...

Although, I won't be calling it done until I get a live horn section on it, the one I had lined up before the deadline failed miserably...

P.S. be sure to get to the bridge, thats when some of the more interesting... elements are added in

That's what kills me with some religions. They claim to be the one true religion, but most (if not all now days) are based off of older religions and mythology.

    • RevolutionX

I was referring more to it's purpose. A lot of people (since no explanation was given) believe it's a monument to Lucifer and the Antichrist. While to me it seems the men who designed it (whoever they are) were thinking in a more natural way. It seems to me they did the math to figure out the balance humans and nature need. Not the coming of the Antichrist.

The main thing I find interesting about the article though is the monument was built in 1980 and no one knows by who...well who designed it. It's not some ancient build where everyone was lost in time. It's kinda cool that a mystery build can still happen in modern time.

And I know Religion and Science run hand in hand. One person sees Science in something while another sees Religion in the same thing.

Still take out the whole Religion/Science aspect of this story it's still an intriguing story.
