It's so good, I find excuses not to play it because I don't want to finish it so fast. In a way, it's just like when I buy a new game, and I'm expecting so much from it I hold off and don't play it because I don't believe there is any possible way for it to live up to my expectations. This is not the case with RE5, not in any way. I knew how it would play, but in this one, the gameplay isn't even half of the package. The cutscenes, the enemies, the scenarios you encounter in each chapter. All of it amazing. I don't much like the HUGE enemies that don't really even notice when you're blasting them in the head with a shotgun. They're like freakin' gorillas. I WILL play it more today, but not just yet. I took a bite that satisfied me quite well yesterday, I'm still enjoying the flavor.
I can best describe my feelings for RE5 with this analogy; You have a delicious treat, you really enjoy eating it. It's so succulent and tasty that a little bit of it goes a long way. You eat a little piece of it, and it leaves you satisfied for quite awhile. Every time you take a bite of it, you know you have just that little bit less of it to enjoy. So you treasure each little taste of heaven when you experience it, because you know you're going to miss it terribly after you've finished it.
I know I'll keep playing it after I beat it. Probably immediately afterward, and a lot. Just like I did with RE3, the RE gamecube remake, and RE4. I love Resident Evil so much the experience is special the first time I play it through. So I don't like to rush it. The irony is; I love it, so I don't play it. smiley1.gif

I haven't been here in almost a year. Really missed it. I found out that being married just wasn't for me. Not that many people would find being married to a Nazi appealing. After about two years of unhappy marriage, it's over. And now I have time to do whatever the hell I want to. So now I get to catch up on all the things I had been missing out on. Regular visits to RVB will resume. Hopefully my computer will stop stiff arming me on the use of FLASH and I can get back to watching Reconstruction. It's really good.

I remember when I used to frequent this place constantly. That was a little over a year ago. Hopefully I'll find the time to do that again, and maybe I'll make some friends again. I really missed RVB and I really want to catch up on it again.

It's been about a year since I've been around the old RVB stomping ground. The last time I was here was the last time I was in Iraq, oddly enough.
So, I'm there again. So, I'm here again. Hopefully I'l run across some of the friends I met last time I was around. And maybe, just maybe, I'll say something insightful.
