    • Hilarious Story Of Religious Hipocrisy

      Demonrider05

I've always laughed at the various examples of hipocricy in major religions over the years, like the priests and ministers preaching against "sexual deviancy" getting caught molesting their altar boys, but this one takes the cake. A leading Evangelist minister, known far and wide for his firm stance against homosexuals, was arrested a few months ago after being turned in by his gay male prostitute whom he had been buying speed from. Apparently, this minister who has been on television and film numerous times preaching against the "evil" of homosexuals, has been regularly sneaking away from his family, to visit his gay, male prostitute, buying speed from him, getting high, and having the time of his life getting "analy serviced". (Sorry, I'm trying to keep the language as clean as possible to keep from pissing of the mods.) The prostitute finaly reported the stupid bastard, because he was becoming "fed up by the hipocrisy of his double life." What makes it even better is that all of the idiot's fellow Evangelical ministers and preachers, who over the years have emphaticaly said how upstanding a person he is, and how they're all great friends, almost brothers, when questioned, dropped the fucker like a bad habit. They said things like "Oh, we were never that close," or "I was never that closely associated with him." They were doing everything they could to distance themselves from the loser, for fear of the media looking closer at them and possibly uncovering their personal skeletons.
Now, I have no problem with homosexuals, whether they be gays or lesbians. In fact I've even had a few gay friends over the years. They might hit on me once, but I'd just calmly tell them, I'm flattered, but I'm straight and not really interested. There's nothing evil about them. They just happen to be attracted to the same sex. They aren't hurting anyone. They aren't destroying society. We don't have to worry about them causing the extinction of mankind by lowering birthrates. In fact, their probably actually helping in that department. There's such a big overpopulation problem in the world right now, we could probably benefit by encouraging them. All of the homosexuals I've known are really nice, decent people. Frankly, I have a very hard time picturing any of them suffering in Hell for all eternity. In fact, I'm willing to bet that the mindless losers who spend their time ridiculing and tormenting them just because of their lifestyle, have a hell of alot better chance being cast into the pits of Hell then they ever will.
Oh well, I guess the world will always be filled with stupid idiots, who feel the need to make others miserable "in the name of religion" when in reality they're only doing it to make themselves appear better than those around them. I'm just dissapointed that it seems like it's easier for these losers to rise to power than decent good people who are actually devoted to their god or diety, instead of increasing their own power and influence.
If anyone has any coments I'd love to hear them whether you agree with me or not.

      I almost got shot!!!
For privacy reasons I will leave all parties but the other near victim unnamed, and the events leading up to the situation unmentioned.
I was with my dad when someone (who will remain unnamed) who was irrationaly upset with him supprised him and held a .45 calliber handgun, which was cocked and loaded in his face threatening him. My dad, who luckily is a gun enthusiast and knows alot on the subject, knew to put his hand on the gun and was able to place the webbing of his hand in the way of the pistol's hammer so that when the assailant pulled the trigger, the hammer couldnt activate the firing pin, firing the bullet.
For those of you who aren't fammiliar with handguns, I suggest you remember what my Dad did. If you end up in the same situation and are capable of doing so, that is exactly what you are supposed to do. All handguns have a hammer, not just revolvers. In semi-automatic pistols you just don't have to manually pull it back before you fire.
Thankfully My dad was much bigger and stronger than the assailant and was able to wrestle it to the ground. However, having only one hand free, which was injured several years earlier in an accident, he was unable to pull the gun away by himself. He called for my help, telling me he had his hand jammed in the way of the hammer so I would know I was fairly safe. I imediately bent down and tried to pry the assailants finger off the trigger.
In the process of this the gun was twisted around so that it was pointed at my gut.
Now, this is a bad place to have any pistol pointed, but an especialy bad place to have a .45 pointed. You see, unlike a 9mm, a .45 will leave a rather large hole, and pretty much shred or outright liquify any organs in that area of your body.
Finally, I was able to pull the assailant's finger off the trigger, recieving a nasty little bite mark on my arm in the process, and my Dad and I were able to pry the gun out of the assailants hands. While my dad restrained the assailant, which was fairly easy now that they were deprived their weapon I quicly called for help. The authorities came and the assailant was taken away.
The entire struggle in itself only took maybe 20 seconds, and we only had to wait for the police for 2 minutes. But I can tell you, when you are experiencing this yourself, it seems like alot longer
The thing that I find the most interesting about this whole ordeal was that not once was I scared. In fact, I felt nothing besides the rush of adrenaline. I knew exactly what I had to do, beacause my Dad, who has his conceiled carry license, had already taught me long ago exactly what to do in exactly that sittuation, and I did it. I felt no fear, no anger, none of the emotions you would expect in that situation. I wasn't even thinking about anything except what I had to do. I guess when you know exacly what to do when you're in a life threatening situation like that, some part of your mind just takes over and does whatever is necessary to ensure your survival. I didn't even realize how close I came to losing my life until several hours after it was all over. Even then I didn't feel angry or scared, or anything. I just felt a small sense of wonder at the fact that I could have died. I guess someone upstairs is lookin' out for me. lol
My Dad and I are both fine now, 3 days later and everything is being taken care of, legal-wise.
Other than that, my life hasn't changed, and I still feel the same. I'm still waiting to be called back for the second interview for a job I applied for at a nearby veterinarians office, and, having no car, I still have an almost non-existant social life. I still spend most of my time reading, exercising, or talking to one of my few friends on the phone.
Well there has been one little change. One of my 2 pet rats has had a stroke for some reason, so I spend a lot more time holding her and loving on her. she has some trouble getting around, she holds her head tilted to the right and has dificulty walking straight. my other rat is actually helping her out as well. she helps her walk up and down the ramps in their cage and get to their food. She's pretty much taken on a mothering role for the injured one. It's really kinda cool how smart rats are and how much they care for eachother. And for those of you who don't like them, rats really do make great pets. They're smart, clean, they almost never bite, and are extremely affectionate. you can even teach them to use a little litter box just like a cat.
That being said, nothing else has happened that warants being mentioned in my journal so im gonna sign off for now.
      See ya.

and like i said before, STAY AWAY FROM LOVE A PET!!!!!

    • Do Not Shop At Love A Pet

      Demonrider05

Well, I finally quit my job. I Used to work at a small pet store called Love A Pet, on 81st and Aspen in Broken Arrow, Ok. If you're wondering why i just listed the exact address, it's so you'll know where it is so you can stay the fuck away from there. being a former emplyee, i can honestly say you would do much better going to any other pet store.
For one thing the prices are outrageous. Even with my 40% employee discount, i barely paid less there than i would for the same product at a different pet store.
Secondly, the animals are kept in very poor conditions. the back rooms they're in are filthy, the smaller animals die all the time, and, while none of the puppies died while i worked there, that i know of (I wasn't stationed in the puppy section), they all had a bad cough. The management aparently never did anything to take care of this, because other employees told me that that problem has always existed. the only reason I worked there so long was because i felt sorry for the animals, and wanted to try to improve their conditions.
Lastly, bet certainly not least, the owner cares even less about his employees than he does about the animals. When he's even in the store, (he arrives late in the morning, leaves for 2 hours for lunch around noon, and only stays untill mid afternoon) he only speaks to employees to point out a mistake they've made. Once, he even yelled at me for spending to much time with customers. When I told him I was only answering their questions about the animals, he told me i should just tell them to buy one of the books the store sells about that particular animal.
The final straw was when he forced me to work late almost every day one week, threatening to fire me if I didn't. when i got my paycheck that week, I didnt get payed for any of the overtime he forced me to work. When I asked him about it, he lied and said I didn't work enough hours because I was late several mornings that week. I got there on time every day, but have no way to prove it because he uses paper time cards that another employee signs the your clock-in and out times on. The owner conveniently throws these away after he enters them into his computer.
After that litle incident I got fed up and finally quit.
My advice to anyone in the area; Stay the hell away from that store!!!
