congrats you're of two fucking people on this site who i think need to listen to this:

you like hip-hop, that's pretty obvious. this guy has never received the accolades he deserves and without a fair bit of google fu it's difficult to find his creative commons debut: Tenshun - Nihilism

This shit is a couple years old already but it's the last I've heard from him and easily one of the best dark trip-hop albums I've ever heard. The sampling is ridiculously good and the demonic beats he creates are above and beyond most shit getting thrown out today. It's a bit of a travesty and you could definitely take advantage of this

      In reply to Dragostea, #90741:

Its not so much as it bothers anyone here, its the fact that its just a simple rule and its been followed for years and its all we ask, yet you choose not too.

      dadalife - Red Meat/White Noise

Don't forget that he is listening to crappy conformist music.

I was only introduced to it earlier this week, but so far I'm loving what I've heard.

      I know what you mean.

The only thing you can do is try and steer em in the right direction. If they don't bite, then you just have to move on for the time being.

You produce some dubstep? Is it on your myspace or soundcloud? I might've forgot where those were. >_>

    • Tetrameth

I thought you didn't like dubstep though? So would you listen to like half the song and then switch to another song? lol

Pair that with some binaural microphones and I'll be stylin'. I don't NEED binaural microphones for anything, but they would be excellent to have if I were a spy.

Same same. Im happy to have so much music to look into and have the opportunity to define myself from it.

I know man. Its strange. The internet has really changed things. Its like we know everyone but don't really know them at all. Crazy stuff.

But it is also great to talk to so many different kinds of people. I mean, how else would I be exposed to things like Neutral Milk Hotel and RJD2. I wouldnt. lol

I've used most of the popular browsers and Opera is not bad. I was using that when I played WoW on my sister's computer a little while ago. But that's another story.

Anyway, I guess I'll use Chrome for a bit to see if there's any other things that I like or dislike about it. I might switch to Opera, we'll see.

Lets also remember that all Bungie's dicking around with the Halo franchise is halting any progress twords that new IP they promised after Halo 3.

    • prahanormal

      It just annoys me.

It's like Bungie's saying "Hey, we're literally completely out of ideas so we're just going to steal ideas from everyone else".

Ok im getting near the end of the mix, and I enjoyed it, nice track selection and you definetly have potential if you get a bit tighter. As for feedback, watch some of your transitions, there were a few that seemed "off" either due to key clashes, or a change of pace that was too sudden ( I have a friend who fades in pace switches which seems to work) One of these that I remember came in around the 10 min mark. Other than that watch your production, there were some spots were audio fuzz could be heard in the background, which is annoying at worst, but it stops a good mix, being a great mix, and finally, some samples, were a little too loud, they should complement, not compete.

Having said this, Im not a mixer, nor a DJ or even a producer (yet) I want to get into producing, Im just saving for the software and equipment.

Hope this helps, looking forward to hearing you improve, and keep pushing yourself.

I find that a little surprising since you're basically the closest one who would like it compared to all the other metal heads in the music forum. Though, Adam (9mm_dealer) seems to like Excision a lot because he's told me.

    • Tetrameth

      hehe, liking the dubstep eh?

well, Excision is on the hard side of dubstep.
