Just an FYI that I am still alive, even in my now more advanced stages of life.

Of Oblivion! Just read it is backwards compatible and I am excited to see my over powered character again.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a single mission left for it to play. But still.

    • Winter is Coming.

With winter around the corner it is time to start thinking about moving from the park into the gym...or just home in the couch. This means movies and video games. I don't have a huge selection of modern franchise games but I really am looking to pick a controller up and play some old, some new.

I have some of you on my Xbox Live friends list but not sure how many. I only have this consle...oh and the Wii U I never touch. Either way if you you play Xbox and have some free time (especially weeknights) let me know. Spare me the other console or PC argument while you are at it too.

Not sure how many of you actual use the site but I currently am tired of Facebook so trying this for a change.

What else is new with me?

Well, I am backing off promoting concerts for a bit. I have a show with the Tossers this Friday but is my last scheduled for 2016.

I recently picked up playing D&D on Sunday nights and enjoying that too. I somewhat want to DM my own but I don't have the knowledge or resources just yet. It is fun though and I have become a fan of Critical Role in addition since that show is what I used to get a feel for the game going in.

Not much else other than that. just working. You know. My life is like a butterknife...dull.

I just happen to log in and saw someone post about an anniversary before realizing it's mine. I feel bad though as I don't post on this site much. confused

My brother-in-law, Ant Lucia has always been gracious about giving me prints to sell on my Etsy shop. He recently give me 10 prints from a New York Comic Con a few years ago that are numbered out of 100.

I am selling them for $48 (with shipping) and the are signed/#'d by him. BUT....I may be able to talk him down to $38 if anyone is interested. If you are..let me know.

Ant is responsible for the DC Bombshell concepts, DC Bombshell variant covers as well as the upcoming DC bombshell comic series.

    • 50 years...I can't beleive it.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer has been on tv for 50 years. I've been on this site over 1/5 that time which is crazy as well (though I totally missed the official date).

Anyway though, how you folks doing? Things are pretty mellow here in Iowa. I've been doing the daily grind. I work at Nationwide and hit my 3 year mark last month. While it isn't the most exciting thing it does pay my bills. In fact, the last couple years my finances have come together a little better than many previous ones. I'm still not able to do a whole lot and if my car were to die I'd be screwed. However, I don't have nearly as many stressful times dealing with money.

I'm still booking bands here as well. This time of year things really die down and that is intentional. The holidays aren't a time to risk losing a little doh. Not like bands tour through a lot with the weather anyhow. In the meantime I still spend a good portion of time a the venue that host the vast majority of shows as a door guy. I was complemented Sunday for being "the most patient door man ever seen" from someone who saw me toss someone out the week before. It was strange but it was a sincere compliment, the kid appreciated it and meant it so it was pretty cool to hear.

I'm am basically done xmas shopping (in case you were wondering) for the season. I usually try to knock it out in about a day. Amazon is an amazing site I tell you! I also purchased a plane ticket for my daughter and well see her for a week starting the 26th. I'm excited to see her and we have a good number of things planned already. I'm forcing her to watch Guardians of the Galaxy as well.

Not much else going on other than that. I'm playing video games a bit more with it getting cold (which also means I'm getting lazy again) and am waiting for the ice to freeze so broomball in the park can start. I am seriously thinking of getting a pair of skates as well. We have a skating plaza on the river downtown or I could hit the pond prior to a game. Either way it'd be fun.

Anyone on here still have an xbox 360? I've been kinda wanting to play Left for Dead again. Or HALO...or whatever.

Hope all is well. Now back to listening to a hockey game for me.

Hey you guys! Nine years ago today my daughter had her open heart surgery. I wouldn't have made it through without all of you! Thanks again!

      Much love!

So I used the website 99 Gamers and have amassed about 70 coins to spend. I currently do not have any "next gen" system as I still have yet to feel the need to get one.

That being said...what older/oldish games should I play on either the 360 or PS3 in the meantime? I'm taking suggestions and the genre does not matter. Just list some games you love.

If you have no plans to see this film, I'm going to punch you.

Witty, funny, charming and with a lot of action from some truly lovable characters. If you liked the Avengers...there is a great possibility you will like this more. Also, a cameo at the end (as well as briefly during the film I'm gold) by an 80's icon.

I will be seeing it again.
