With the addition of Funhaus (formerly IG) to RT I guess I may be on this site a bit more then in the past (what my last post was 5 years ago? How can that be?) but not sure I will be doing a ton of Journal Posts. I am excited to see the IG guys mix it up with what RT has going on. Should be a good mix and cannot wait to see what the future brings. Funhaus!!

Well from the videos I have watched so far on Youtube of L4D2 I am glad I made the descision to get Borderlands instead. Like I have stated before it felt from the videos like the first one with different maps (I have played some really well done L4D custom maps that were on par with L4D2) and textures/models. Only real difference is the melee weapons and I am not spending 50 bucks for that.

Seems Valve is in a money grabbing game from the success of the original. I may pick it up after the price drop but honestly may have had enough Zombie killing for a while (Say it is not so!)

Borderlands I am almost though I think with my first walk though but am giving it a little rest as I have been playing a little too much (Sign of a great game) for comfort the last week or so. Leave your thoughts on L4D 2. I would like to hear what those of you that have it think...

Yes it was everything I was expecting and more. So many guns and so little time/backpack space. It is a really well thought out and good game. The mix of RTS and FPS is awesome. The Maps are huge and also small so you get to feel like you are really traveling the world of Pandora. There is also nothing like opening a Gun Crate and seeing the orange glow emanating from the box. Gearbox and 2K great job and I hope to see some DLC/Expansions for this game in the future. I would love also some back story of why Dahl left pandora. Great job! If you are a FPS fan you gotta get this game.

Man these guys took a great game (TF2) and are totally messing it up. They have created a rift in the community because of a certain percentage of users used Idle Programs (external to the game and Steam but created with the SDK) to idle to get weapon drops because the system valve implemented was seriously flawed. (It would drop 10 items at once for a person, Not drop anything for others)

They now outlawed the idle programs and gave everyone who never used one a halo hat. Talk about a way to make already immature players even more immature? Give them a way to discriminate against other players in game.

I am proud that I idled and never want to see a halo in my inventory ever. I helped prove to Valve that they made a flawed system and should think a bit more before messing with how users get dropped weapons. I idled to not get the stupid hats but get my last weapon - The Killing Gloves of Boxing for the heavy.

Good Job Valve in hurting your fan base - I was thinking of getting L4D2 but is it not happening now. I will go support Gearbox and 2K games and buy Borderlands with that L4D2 money.

I got into and working a game of Wolfenstein Multiplayer and I have to say it is better then I was hearing it was. Gameplay was not very laggy (though most servers in the server browser said the Latency was 100 so something is broken)

The purchasing upgrades is kinda cool. I got enough money in 1 map to purchase a scope for my rifle and upgrade my Veil powers. I still have to figure out how the engineer works. I guess you can build stuff but have to figure out if you need to get an upgrade to do that or have to be on an Objective map. (I only tried Team Death-match game type)

I will be trying this game again this weekend and my login name is -EDOX- as just EDOX was taken. =P Feel free if you can look users up somehow to join in the fun.

There are so many people complaining on youtube and other places that the new Wolfenstein game from Activision,Raven, ID Software sucks. I got it yesterday and so far am though a couple missions in the single player and really enjoy it. Good graphics, Runs smooth and the story fits into the Wolf Universe well.

I have not tried multiplayer yet but heard they have a patch out already to deal with some of the laggyness it was having. I think the majority of the people bitching are the Console guys as those seem to be a bit dumbed down graphics-wise.

I am a PC gamer though and though and this game seems so far to fit the bill of a good shooter. 6-8 hours of single player which seems to be actually more then what was in COD4 (or I just blew though that single player fast) and hopefully the game browser works way better then COD4. (COD4 now will show me games but I cannot connect to them)

Anyway so far I rate this game as buyable and a good addition to the franchise.

Well it has been a long week. I do not have a ton of plans but in the plans I do have are some serious TF2, (Gonna check out the Classless update stuff and collect some hats hopefully. Though I never got any of the Spy/Sniper update hats, just a lot of the same weapons.) L4D and Possibly some Fallout 3. Gonna be some good relaxation and stress releafe to kill some Zombies and/or scouts for a while. If you see me online feel free to join in a game and let me know who you are. • Games I am currently playing...

So many Computer Games and so little time to play/enjoy them. The following is a few games I am enjoying at the moment and my feelings about them.

First up: Fallout 3 - I have been playing this for actually quite a while. I have beaten the main games missions and have The Pitt and Operation Anchorage addons. I currently am trying out The Pitt but am disappointed that you basically have to start over with weapons and clothes. I may leave that one for later. I have not tried Operation Anchorage yet but plan on trying that next. I also have to explore a ton more in the game as I went directly to finishing the game as fast as I could. I think I may start over with a new character and try to explore as much as I can this time around. Plus with this game there is a ton of downloadable content at the moment so the game is well worth it.

Second Up: [PROTOTYPE]â'žÂ¢ - I just started playing this and it seems to have a great story as well as great visuals. Runs really smooth on my machine (which it should as I just upgrade to 8 gig of memory and have a decent video card.) I have been taking this game slowly as I am still trying to master the controls. It is a third person view game that is a mix of GTA4, Tekken fighter, crysis (for tank/helo game play), and Assassins Creed for acrobatics. I have been only playing one mission and a couple EP Point games each time I play it to enjoy it and get used to it.

Third Up: FarCry 2 - I have been playing this game for what seems like forever. I am not as impressed as when I first started it. It takes a while to get anywhere and the fights are fairly predictable. If you like hunting for diamonds you will like this game as it takes forever to upgrade anything. Leave it for the cheap bin when you have finished all the other good games.

Fourth Up: Crysis and Crysis Warhead - I recently finished both of the single player of these and may try out Crysis War Multiplayer here when I get a chance. Quite good games but you have to have a beast of a system to run them on full Graphics. Single player is quite fun and challenging. Great story and Crysis 2 looks really promising.

Fifth Up: BioShock - I have been in the middle of this game for a while as well. The reason for this is my disk got scratched and I have not been able to play much since then. I may have to find a no-cd crack to finish this game but for the moment gave up. Loved the game but got lost a few times so that made it not as fun. Overall a great game and worth the now 30 dollar purchase.

Sixth Up: Assassins Creed - I am really stuck in this game at the moment so have given it up till I get interested again. Great game but a few missions are very tough so beware for some frustration. I may have to get some ideas from Tutorials (which I hate to do) to get ideas for how to complete the one I am on. Great game and again should be about 30 bucks now.

Seventh Up: Halo and Halo 2 (Both PC) - Yes I have this game and never completed the single player. I got so far and then gave up. Since I have been watching Red Vs Blue again I have been wanting to replay this badly and may re-install it again. UPDATE: Just bought Halo 2 for the PC since it was 15 bucks at Fred Meyer. So far very fun but seems to be quite redundant of Halo. I doubt Halo 3 will ever go to PC so I may never get to finish the story and will never own an XBOX 360 or console platform other then Nintendo Platforms. (Getting a Wii this fall)

Well there you go. A run down of a few games I am in the middle of and never have time to finish. I did not even talk about the games like FT2, L4D, or COD 4 that I play online so when all is said and done there are plenty of things to occupy all that free time I have. (LOL) Enjoy your gaming and look me up if you want to play something online. Steam ID: EDOX, LIVE Gamer Tag: EDOX33

RvB: Blood Gulch Chronicals has come to an end. (or has it?) Sorry to see it go but it will be fun to see what the RT guys have up there sleeves. I really like the 1-800-magic series and can see some good things there. Also The Strangerhood is a good series and I would really like to see it take off again.

GJ guys and keep on bringing the laughter.

"Cold like that suck! I get bad sinus infections/colds in the fall and spring. It is tough when you have to take meds to just think."

Definitely! It's even worse when you wake up and realize "I have 9 hours of work to get through before I can really sleep again". I don't consider sleeping under my desk "real" sleep.

At least the Dayquil worked and made it a decent day. I'm kind of lucky and rarely get sick, so I guess that makes me complain more when I do :)
