I know you put allot of effort into trying to figure out how light bulbs work or coming up with an explanation as to why we haven't domesticated those giant flying sheep that occasionally drift across your vision as you blankly stare slack jawed and drooling into the heart of the sun so it must be really frustrating when us pesky waiters break your focus by bringing you food or offering to refill your glass with a drink of choice.
while I realise how much of a massive inconvenience suffering through the rigmarole of being served a three course meal just so I can spend several hours indulging my cutlery polishing fetish (why exactly a new set of cutlery for each dish is beyond me, I can only assume the management is worried that left to your own devices between courses you'll try and stick the fork up your nose again) but I'd really appreciate it if when you drop your glass over and smash it so I have to go on my hands and knees like a dog go sweep it up that broken glass that you dont call over your friends and complain that I'm blocking your way

I think the RT podcast has estabilshed pretty clearly that cats can survive any fall above a given height (about 7 stories.)
This got me thinking; since Lions are basically large cats they could technically function as feline ODSTs. we simply round a pride of hungry lions into the back of a C 130, and then drive them out over the unsuspecting enemy positions. I can imagine that a surprise lion attack would be very effective. Infact, even if the lions didn't survive the drop, wouldnt being hit by a lion be pretty nasty anyway?
so the question is: would this work, could this work, what other roles could our favourite animals have on the battleground?

...from the heat. I'm taking a break from being a shite chemistry teacher and I'm in Mombasa, having taken the Tsavo Highway through Voi, (my inner nerd is very pleased.) the whores here are worse than the damned mosquitoes but the lovely palm beaches and warm sea is great.

on a side note, I've changed my profile pic for the time being. Kenya is not tolerant and my usual drag profile pic may be enough to get me in some trouble.

summeted Kilimanjaro on the 9th. glad to have reached that loverly charity goal, hope the african kids are happy with their hospital.

the first 4 days of the climb are fairly standard trekking up hill, but it is very cool to see the terrain change from jungle to fern forest to moor land and finaly desert as you climb.

the final day involved getting up at 11 for a midnight start as its over 1 kilometer of assent. we reached the summit at around 6 30 Am, just in time for sunrise on the roof of africa.

only problem was that above 5000 meters it tends to drop to a rather chilly -10 degrees and with only 57% oxygen I was hallucinating pretty bad (severed limbs ECT) and lost my sense of balance but as altidude sickness goes it was pretty ok.

anyway. you all have a good new year. Or i will find you.

If anyone still expects anything out of this sorrid excuse of a page prepare to be dissapointed.
as of an hour from now I'm flying to africa to climb kilimanjaro for all that charity money that im sure i mentioned and also to spend 3 months imparting my meager, meager knowledge at some kenyan kids.
i might be inspired to pull my video camera out of my arse and film something tho, so keep an eye on the jonny lock blog on youtube incase i find a wild internet in my travels.

have fun with the new year everyone!

Hey everyone, look at this, the charity I'm climbing kili to sponsor has made the news, somewhere...
      www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cR6iZxtjKM&feature=share
since everyone who follows me pays absolute attention to everything I say, you all know that AMECA is a charity set up in memory of army doctor Alex Coutselos who died in Afghanistan aged 23, and does wonderful things when it comes to saving lives in Africa in his name, see below:
      www.ameca.org.uk/
The lady who runs it, and is also the mother of alex, is one of the nicest and dedicated people I have ever met, and I'm more than glad to help.
Now this is the part where I regrettably clang your unsuspecting selves round the head with a collection plate. I realise that may of us have way way better things to spend our money on, like minecraft subscriptions or My little pony box sets, but literally any amount (over a pound, found this out due to the less than zelious fundraising attempts of my closest friends) will not only be ultra appreciated, but make a real difference to the lives of real people.
Even if you don't donate, be so kind as to make a journal post passing the info along and urging others to do the same.
Look at the picture to the left, look into those eyes. those are the eyes of a drunk dressed as a woman. but underneath that are the eyes of someone who really wants YOU, to help out with something really important (to him anyway.)
providing you read this far down, and your in, the link for my endevor is here:

      (thanks in advance!)
p.s gimmi your username on a donation and I'll send you naughty pics, Or, in the case of you finding the very thought repulsive, gimmi your username on a donation in order to stop me.

i suppose, yeah, its always good to know how to fight, i would even take lessons for swordsmanship, throwing knives, and shooting a gun properly, you never know when your going to need it.

    • doll

yeah....don't worry, i don't fight anymore, i have no reason to, even if somone picks a fight lol

    • doll

it comes naturally, i was always picked on as a kid, so i had to protect myself, i resulted to violence, giving a warring kick or punch, a hard one. it never went any further. when i got older i loved to spar, it was fun, i liked it so much i spared with my brother, and learned to be more defensive, he was faster then me, so i had to be careful, even so i was more agile, and i was able to hit weak points easily, i also began to go for the throat more, or the kneecaps, ending a fight as soon as i can, i wasn't all that strong, so i had to, to win...that's why, its so normal for me now, i don't have to think much....if that makes sense...

    • doll

depends on what your own personality, for me, since i naturally kick and punch without thinking, so i picked one that provided the training i needed to make it better.

lol, its alright...now i'm watching Tae Kwon Do on youtube, its so cool

    • doll

yeah, that's a lot of work and all.

    • doll

well, i'm guessing not everyone in RT know how to fight, like multiple fighting styles, heck, i only know one, but i'm taking tae kwan do when i get money. and to do moves like that in animation, you would need to have people act it out so they could record the movements for the models, adding the bones in and making it work is a pain in the ass, i would know i had to work on a animation project and do the animation on my own, even though i did all the designs and pulled out the characters, and made some of the settings and stuff....anyways, so the model would have to know the kind of fighting style that they wanted to freelancer to know, so yeah....

    • doll

i think its a good touch, it adds more to how Red VS Blue isn't tied down by the limited movements of halo gameplay. but i did like the beginning, it was so funny, but the sound quality sucked hah hah.

i guess i like the animations, cause i took 3D modeling and animation, and i grew to watch and analyze it all, you know?

    • doll

um, two of them are from season 9. one from the episode you mentioned, the other from the three on one fight with Tex, then one was used in one of RT shorts. and the last was well...idk what season lol
