I am ENGAGED! My beautiful girl friend became my beautiful fiance, and we're getting married on August 15th. Soon, yeah.. but we're going to do it!
If I get the chance, I'll update more later.

I'm still here.. believe it or not! I check often, but I don't post ever.. sorry ='(
Just a quick update:
I'm now a sophomore at Purdue, majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Management. I'm working two jobs, and still struggling to put two nickels together. I can't keep up with the bills, and I can't afford to go out and do anything... sad, really..
On a happier note, I'm going on my 15th month with my beautiful bride-to-be, Brittany. We're happy together, and she's on campus with me. I bought her a "promise ring" which she wants to be our engagement ring (not gonna happen.. I'll buy one of those later). We're talking about getting married next summer, probably May-ish. This is a result of an almost guaranteed internship with Allstate, in Chicago. I'll be doing network infrastructure engineering, and making a crap ton more than I can make doing anything else in a summer. We'll see what happens, but that's all in the planning phases now.
My parents are driving me nuts. My dad wants me out of the house, my mom wants me in the house more now than ever, and my sister just wants to come here with me to get away from them both. I'm glad I'm away for a while. This past summer was hell. Brittany is convinced that my parents don't like her (which is wrong..) and that she and I aren't going to make it because of them (also VERY wrong..). I'm doing my own thing and beating to my own drum.
Life is chaotic, at best, but I'm making it. Just a quick update. I'm still around, and I still check new journals and pics fairly often. I'll do better once I get myself back on some sort of a schedule.
I'll talk to you all later!
I built a PC yesterday for a friend, and all was going well. When I finished building it, I encountered several MAJOR problems. The first problem was that it would go to the motherboard welcome screen, ask me to hit DEL to enter setup, and freeze after I hit DEL. I figured that one out. Then, I finished configuring the BIOS, and it rebooted. When it asked me to put the OS disk in the optical drive, the "shit hit the fan" so to speak.. Neither disk drive will open when connected to the IDE controller on the motherboard. Standing alone, they'll open just fine. Any suggestions?
