Even though I don't have any followers and don't post too much, I am really trying to be more active here on Rooster Teeth. I feel inadequate to all of the incredibly talented and artistic people in this community but the fact that I am left brain thinker with little to no actual artistic ability is a little daunting here....

Well this is my first ever journal entry on here and I wanted to make sure I had something good to talk about before I did, and now I do.

I have been married since July 24th 2010, prior to that I had been with my wife for almost 4 and a half years. We met when I was a Senior in High School and she was a Junior. I had always been a kind of shy nerdy guy until only a few months before I met her. I had a sudden swing in confidence from playing hockey, being on track to graduate after slacking most of my high school career, and finally noticing that girls did seem interested in me (weird right?).

I was introduced this woman at hockey game by one of my best friend's, at the time I didn't think much of it, I thought she was cute, blonde hair, blue eyes, gorgeous lips. During the hockey game I stayed leaning forward seeming to be extremely interested in the game but every once in awhile stealing a glance at her. For some reason I became more and more mesmerized by her lips (sucker for a nice set of lips). After the game ended I couldn't remember her name but also just chalked it up to most likely never seeing her again.

Two days later there was another hockey game, my friend had brought this girl to the game again. Doing basically the same thing I kept getting small glances of her. This time though my friend wanted to catch a ride home with me instead of her parents. So after the game we went to McDonald's, I danced like an idiot to the popular song of the time, Laffy Taffy, after that night I added this new girl as a friend on MySpace and after talking for awhile on there and at school for a couple of weeks, the rest was basically history.

This woman, since the day I met her has made me smile and made me happier than I have ever been. She pushes me to be better and to not settle for mediocre. Ever since I started my life with her I have tried my hardest to make her happy and to give her the life she deserves. Now after 5 years 3 months and 2 days we found out that she is going to make me a father.

Kyla, I love you so much and I could not have picked a better woman to spend the rest of my life with.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
