So I have to make a decision on whether I want to roll a piece of metal around the corner of my modded case. However I don't know what looks best. Thoughts:

      Problem here

My friend Rick thought the 1st solution looked the best. However, help would be appreciated.

So I'm planning to put all my music onto my web host so I can access it from anywhere. I need something like a content management system to create the playlist from the directory the music is stored and have built in streaming. I'd prefer that it had some login feature to stop people using up my bandwidth. However, I'll be stopping search bots indexing the music directory anyways so the login feature isn't all that critical.

Prefer it to be php and mysql based but I'm open to other suggestions. Cheers

So I just spent a while typing out a long message about my problem and RT fucked it up so sorry if I'm brief.

How the heck to I remove a Slot 1 processor from a Gateway E-4200. I've consulted the manual and the layout of the processor/heatsink seems different from that.

Here is a photo of it. Notice the black tap things. I think these are relevant to the problem although I have pushed and pulled them with no success. As always help is appreciated. Cheers.

Right so I've been busy making some gifs in Image Ready for a couple of hours today. However, when I went to save the optimized gif animation it would come out the wrong animation and blue colour. I then realised that I had made the animation in Original mode in image ready and not in optimized mode. My question is how do I get the whole animation over to the optimized section of image ready so I can save it as I'd rather not waste another 3 hours redoing the work.

      Here are some screenshots:

      linky
      linky1

The animation should look like this:

      Animation

Any help would be appreciated. The only thing I have thought of doing is to export each frame and then redo it in image ready. Help will be rewarded with mods.

smiley9.gifWelcome to the RvB UK Event Thread 07 smiley9.gif

This is the second time we are planning to put together a gathering of UK based fans and this year we want to make it even better than last years event. This is not to say that anyone from anywhere in the world is not welcome. Last years event organiser Pixie has had to take some absence due to other commitments and we have been unable to communicate with her to see her current role in this years event. As organising an event takes a lot of work the people from last years event have taken it upon themselves to begin to organise this years gathering.

Current Details on the event are listed below (First post will be updated in red as new details are organised):

Location: Birmingham University or Nottingham University
Date: During August 07. (Specific Time and Date still to be decided)
Price: Cost has not been considered yet.

We have considered these locations as we they are centralised and have good transport links for people to get to them.

      Accommodation:
Hopefully, accommodation will be able to be supplied through the university to people who need it. This will be an extra fee on top of the Event price. More details to come after a Location as been decided

      Event Details:
The following things we have considered doing during the event:

-LAN tournament. Winner gets a price
      -Screenings of Episodes
-RvB UK Merchandise (t-shirts, buttons, stickers)
-Q and A and other stuff with Staff if they consider coming. Fund raising might be essential to pay for flights. A little gift to make it easier for them to come.
-LaserQuest. Winning Team gets a prize.

      Suggestions:

If you have any reasonable suggestions that you want to offer up then please post in the thread.

      Contacts:

If you are interested in coming at all then please watch this thread as more details will be updated in the next few weeks for user registration to gather numbers for the event. If you have any question please post them in this thread or feel free to contact anybody listed below for more information:

I'm working at the IT Support Center at my school, along with the Student Computer Clusters (basically maintain all of the computers on campus).

Yeah, I did a bunch of stuff for him a few months back and I think he took care of it all. I was supposed to follow up on some of it, but I never got around to it.

I've been working myself, though I guess not quite as much as you. The thrill of working at a brewery has passed at this point?

I need to start filing bugs, etc. for filmchicago again. My free time has been eaten up lately.

hey...check out the uk forum...we are discussing the formation of a british grifball team and would like to know what you think the league details should be.

if you have xbl, halo 3 and grifball map packs then we can also set you up with training partners, and the opportunity to represent your country in a showdown against america.

No, unfortunately they don't. AT&T and Tmobile use gsm (sim cards) and Verizon and Sprint use cdma (no sim cards). It sucks to be with Verizon because you can basically never get an unlocked phone.

    • skidogallard

Verizon is cdma, the iPhone is for a gsm network.

Well, it's important to remember that an interview is not a job offer - in some companies, you have to make it through several levels of interviews before you get an offer.

    • TheSwmnCello

This is my final year. I'd like to have a job afterward, so I'm doing the job hunt now. I do have one offer already (from Bank of America), but it's nice to have choices.

    • TheSwmnCello

So far I've gotten interviews from a small company in Chicago called Business Logic Corporation, and from Expedia. I also talked to VMWare, Northrup Grumman, Palm, and Google. On the list for tomorrow is Amazon, Microsoft, probably Yahoo, and maybe a few others depending on who I see there.

You too. I see you on the forums once in awhile, but I'm not a very good conversationalist. Which reminds me, I do need to talk to you about the ETS design you did for me, I'll send you a PM about it later.
