      I don't really use this site anymore, but new journal entries are always nice.

      I just want to give my respects to the one and only Monty Oum. I'm honestly not sure why I feel so compelled to do so, perhaps because I've just been so surrounded by death lately that I need to post a journal about it. One of my dogs passed away late in 2014 and me and my brother had to bury her, then the biggest lost I've ever had, my 80+yo mom mom, who I was very close to passed away on January 8th, then my Aunt, who lives with me had to put one of her cats down, then I just found out yesterday at my late-birthday party that another one of my dogs had to be put down.

      I'm happy to be able to say that I had the pleasure of meeting Monty at PAX East a couple of times. The first time was in 2012 when I was wearing one of the early stages of my now finished Sub-Zero cosplay. Being the Grifballer that I am, I had hoped/am hoping to get autographs from RT/RvBers on my Grifball action figure. Fortunately, Monty was one of the first staff members that I got to sign it. I recall when I handed it to him that he quickly handed it back to me. I looked for his name but the only newly added thing that I saw was a happy face on the side. I jokingly asked, "Is that it"? He replied, "Yeah." And I was like, "Awesome!" He chuckled a little, I thanked him and went on my way. A few other times when I would go back to get more autographs, both in 2012 and 2013, he had remembered me from the Sub-Zero costume I was wearing the first time I met him. It's always nice to feel remembered.

      I met Christopher Lloyd and Sean Astin, got a head nod from Dee Snider, and saw Ian McDiarmid. Also, have now got Barbara, Burnie, Caleb, Gavino, Goosechecka, Gus, Jack, Kal, Kathleen, Kerry, Luke McKay, Matt, Monty, and Ray to sign the Griball Action Figure. Hope to see Dan, Geoff, Joel, and Nico at PAX East! Then giving it to 343i for them to sign and get Todd McFarlane to sign to auction off for Charity. Any Grifballers at PAX East that want to sign it are welcomed to! Spread the word!!!

      This year's Eastern Edition of the Penny Arcade Expo did not fail to be fucking amazing!! There were more exhibitors, more people, and much more BO than last year. I missed the Rooster Teeth Panel due to it being over capacity but I heard it was full of naked dancing men, and I got everyone at the booth to sign my Grifball figure. Anyway, I decided to cosplay as my own portrayal of Sub-Zero this year. Everyone really liked my costume, especially my gas mask and Ron Paul button, I'll probably wear it again next year if I can figure out a way to wash it. The Expo Hall was pretty awesome, I'm not really into most of the games that were displayed but Aliens: Colonial Marines looks awesome as well as Borderlands 2. I got to crush a little kid at Halo Reach and made a dude rage quit in MW3 (yes, he literally just frowned at me, put down the controller and walked away lol). I entered the Halo Reach 4v4 tournament. Out of 64 teams, my team placed fourth smiley13.gif . I was number one on my team with an overall k/d or +34. I also loss in the first round of the Mario Kart 7 tourney lol. I was in 2nd/3rd for the majority but kept getting slapped right before the finish line. Had to play a tie breaker with four people for fourth place in order to move on, came in second smiley4.gif . Checked out the Nintendo StreetPass Panel, ended up with around 167 tags even through I forgot to turn it on Friday. I got a bunch of pics with other cosplayers including Noob Saibot and a Jedi, Scorpion and Kitana, Jax and Johnny Cage, Mr. T and the Ghostbusters and a bunch more. I went to the Live Taping of X-Play (waited three hours as 10th in line and my roomies were 1st and 2nd just for the enforcers to decide to let everyone in at the same time fucking lame, but still got a fifth row seat, would've been first if not for reserved front row press seating again fucking lame). I got to ask a question and asked, "What are your favorite Mortal Kombat Characters? And you better say Sub-Zero!" So I'm hoping to see it on Wednesday night's episode of X-Play. They also put up two pics of me on the site smiley0.gif . Escapist Magazine had also put a pic of me on their site. So, in conclusion, PAX East 2012 was simply an awesome, magically fantastic time and I'll be there next year in my Sub-Zero costume!!! p.s. I spent four hours waiting in the train station for my returning train in full costume because they wouldn't let me exchange for a couple hour earlier ticket for less than $200 (Amtrak sucks) and also rode the train in full costume. Everyone looking for a seat would stop, look at me and walk away. Props to the two really cute girls who ended up sitting next to a crazy dude in a ninja costume. lmao

      Hey there, I haven't been on this site much after the second coming of Grifball so I don't know what yall are up to, but this weekend I'll be at PAX East!!! I managed to snag a room at the Westin so that's pretty awesome. I'll also be cosplaying as a Lin Kuei Assassin. Not any character in particular but I'll still be a badass blue ninja master with the power of summoning ice, and I'm wearing a painted gas mask along with it! I'm taking the train up and will be on the Sonic Line on Thursday if anyone else is a part of the train alliance. I'm going to enter the Halo Reach and Mario Kart 7 Tournaments if anyone looking for a team. And of course I'll check out the RT Panel, Burnie, you better have my ten virgins ready! ;-}

      Alrighty, update on stuff since my last journal which I think I posted while drunk but who knows, does anyone read these anyway?? Job-wise, still unemployed because I refuse to work a typical corporate sheeple job. However, I've been working on my video game concept that I used during the time I served at DeVry. I've been using UDK and it's looking pretty good so far. I'm also trying to novelize the concept or maybe a comic might be funner, not sure yet but I got the story all written up. It's a futuristic post-apocalyptic zombie survival horror with modernly realistic rpg and squad-based components named "Desolation". Life-wise, I've been working out, running, and cut back a lot on smoking. Loss some weight but still working on that Summer Six Pack. This area also lacks places to hang out unless you're 15, a drunk, part of a Mexican gang, or more than likely all of the above, so I'm on Xbox Live more often now. I'm always playing either Reach, MW3, or Nazi Zombies so invite me up! I think that's about all I can muster up for now, I'll posts pics and updates either throughout the weekend or sometime next week, until then, Peace!

      This is my costume! :)))

      Well, I haven't made a journal in a while but I thought I would stop by, say hi, and drink a little whiskey and rye.

      Alright, yesterday I went up to RT Philly for the day. It was an amazingly awesome sober time! It was sweet to meet Luke McKay, Goose and Kal for the second time, play some Grifball (which will forever be remembered as the day that Pudding was the ultimate victor, P-P-P-PUDDINGGG POWERRR!!!), and all of the awesome people of the community who attended. I brought a Grifball Action Figure with me and managed to get BlawnDee, Goose, Kal, and Luke to sign it. It's now the most BAMF Grifball Action Figure EVER!!! I'll definitely be going next year and I'll see you all there!

      I don't think I made a journal about PAX East so...YEAH PAX EAST!!!!! It was awesome, met a lot of cool people and did a bunch of cool things. I put up a some pictures if you wanna see who I met and what booths I checked out. I'll be going next year, haven't booked a room yet, so if you are looking for people, I'm available. Hopefully my car won't break down a week before and cost me $400 this time.

      I've also officially graduated from college. I got my Bachelor's of Science in Game/Simulation Programming from DeVry University. I can't really say much of anything good about this college besides that it uses an accelerated program which got me my four year degree in just three. But yeah, it's a horrible school just after money. I could make an entire separate journal with all of the B.S. they gave me, besides the degree. Professional job wise, I have put in around 20 apps and have gotten two "no's". So things are looking pretty good so far.

      Alright, now that I have my degree, I've mostly just be chillin, looking for a full-time gaming job, and working on a few projects. I have a full-time job working at a Gold/Silver Pawn Shop. We buy gold/silver jewelry and buy/sell coins. Yes, I could tell you exactly how much your gold necklace is worth but you'll probably not like the price with how the Western World has been buying out the dollar and causing gold/silver to have record drops last week. What's up with that shiz? Anyway, I am also working part-time for a Indy Game Company. I am an incentive/level/world designer and have made a pretty decent volcano island level so far, terrain and textures are done, now I've been working on tree/plant placement. The second project I am working on is for my game concept that I used through college. Basically, I am turning it into a novel. I haven't starting writing yet, but my outline has 23 chapters and 272 predicted pages. I am shooting for around 30 chapters and 350 pages. I will probably need an artist for cover art and inside page art if anyone is interested.

      That's about it I think. Oh, I also finally got around to making my bedroom look badass from moving home in December. I have like over 30 Halo figures, a bunch of posters, and some other cool things including my little-league self-signed football helmet and signed John Elway helmet (maybe fake). I have a gaming wall and football/trophy wall which also works as a random awesome shit wall. I'm also working on a Grifball Montage with over 50 films still to go through. And I also ran for Grifball Head of Events again but didn't get elected /sad face\. I had so many different events planned with prizes and all that good stuff; perhaps making a journal entry about it might of helped a bit.

      Well, that's about it for now, if I can think of anything else, I'll edit it in. It's definitely been an eventful year and I'll see you all at PAX East 2012!!! And may the Pudding be with you!
