In catching up on House, the past three episodes have all had people start bleeding from their eyes. My biggest question is, how many fucking diseases cause this?! "Turns out you have a clot in your leg, oh, look! You're crying blood!"

I will never leave my safety bubble again.

Our dear ActionMan43 has been officially credited in one movie on IMDB, and that movie, is Buttman's Big Butt Backdoor Babes 3.

      Congratulations, Nolan!

So for the past two weeks, I've been watching the mail like a hawk, taking every single package before my parents could get them and screening for one in particular. Today, it finally arrived.

      KGvqV.jpg

A mother's ring, with the names of myself and my siblings, as well as our birthstones. Just a bit of a delayed birthday present. Don't think I've ever seen her so excited at something.

      Love ya, mom. smiley12.gif

    • Finally Following Up On This...

      James

About two months ago, I posted this journal asking for your help. I asked you all to watch a 10-second video of mine, comment on it, share it, etc. Now, it's finally time to follow up on this.

If you access the video by clicking this link you should see a very recent comment by a "Sheridan Hull." It would mean the absolute world to me if you would thumbs-up that comment. It helps to create a more... interactive viral campaign in regards to my writing.

I greatly appreciate you guys doing this. Love you all so much! Hope those of you who celebrate had a good Easter!

    • A New Term

      James

And it's looking very, very bright. I don't think I ever talked about winter term in length, but I can sum it up in two nifty little words: it sucked. And that's all I really have to say about it. I suffered a dip, but thankfully, I earned 28 college credits while still in high school, so I haven't suffered a bad blow to my overall credit to time ratio.

Spring term, however, is looking pretty sweet. I ended up only completing two classes last term, but this term I'm back up to full strength with five classes. "Lifetime Fitness for Health", "Exploration of the Deep: Geography of the World's Oceans", "Purpose of Education in a Democracy", "English Composition: Writing for Opinionated Editorials", and "Bowling." Fuck yeah bowling.

And the way the schedule turned out, I have Tuesdays and Thursdays off. I am definitely okay with this. As well, once I finish TCE 216[Purpose of Ed. in Dem.] I will be able to apply for Provisional Admission to the Oregon State College of Education, and be one step closer to officially becoming a high school language arts teacher.

Overall, things are going pretty swell. But enough about me! How about you, my lovely friends? How's school/work? What's going on in your lives?

First, I blame blondicus and DaCuban for having the "pillow fort" idea. Of course I was going to just use my bed as my fort, thus resorting in my falling asleep. Whatever subliminal messages you all attempted to send to my subconscious didn't work, unless someone tried to make me think I was the guy becoming Captain America, specifically having a girl hit on me. If you were the girl hitting on me, we had a special connection. Find me.

Oh, and I slept wonderfully. Thanks for asking. Was a bit awkward waking up to see my lights on and computer staring at me, though.

Got a Tumblr for "Hull." You can follow it here!

I legitimately don't know what I'm going to do with this yet. I just know that now, I don't have to click 4 different bookmarks to access my favorite Tumblrs. And my favorite Tumblrs are pretty simple:

      -Sherlock
      -Christina Grimmie

      Yup.

I can tell already, this is going to be by far the best story in "Hull" written. Just reading some of the initial lines gives me a chill. CAN'T WAIT.

Well there's a bunch of Arcade games that I haven't gotten around to trying that I downloaded during Deals of the Week. And now all my friend's old games that we didn't return for store credit back when he was still alive. So I have a lot of catching up to do. But Duke Nukem Manhattan Project has been pretty fun and my coworker and I are gonna start going through Gears in co-op today. Oh and of course Red Dead Redemption is awesome..

    • b51

Well unfortunately remembering all that stuff just makes me sad and angry that he's gone. But I really do appreciate it and I'll be sure to come to you if I need someone to talk to objectively since you obviously didn't know him at all.

In the meantime...play any good games lately?

    • b51

That sounds awesome. I've been pretty down for the past month as my best friend just died but y'know...taking it one step at a time, moving along day by day. Seems to be working out alright, though a lot more bad days than there used to be and a lot more lonely but not like we can do anything about it now.

Still, that's just my brain working on a relatively good night. If you have any coping tips for the nights where I'm going insane I'd love to hear 'em :P

Oh and just to clarify, I'm not looking for sympathy. That's just what's on my mind at the moment y'know?

Lol, I ran out of room in the journal entry. My complete theory should read more like this:

The aFrags (and whatever 'immature', incomplete eFrags there were) are still in the Epsipod. The eFrags, along with Epsilon, are in the Monitor. Two separate iterations. (Which then makes it somewhat unclear which Delta was speaking to us in Recreation, but I'm actually fine with that ambiguity.) Or, you know, alternately, Caboose really fucked up, and there's no clear delineation what's where.

I guess what worries me the most is the fact she seems like the idea of "exclusive" isn't always the first in her book, or she's shallow, or something. I have no idea. She's really hard to read, especially for someone like me who can usually read everyone.

Your date ditched you? What kind of crap is that?

My date was just a friend, but now I think we might be treading the waters of an actual relationship. I'm scared. smiley3.gif

Our school is fairly small too, only 400 kids total, but we got a pretty good turnout. We do After Prom because it's a way to make sure kids are having safe fun afterward, I guess xD

    • Kyrianne

Our After Prom was Casino Royale... they had poker tables set up, but none of my group knew how to play so we just played Bullshit in a pow-wow on the floor. The district's school cop started playing with us, too. It was funny, he was so freaking bad at that game.

    • Kyrianne

My prom was better than yours. It was Gotham City themed and one of the chaperons dressed up like the Joker and stood creepily against the wall all night. smiley0.gif

To be honest, there is no sure fire way to ensure that your work is safe,
however, Harper Collins are definitely not going to steal it, and they assure you that no other publisher will either.
Therefore the only risk really is other writers, and steps have been taken to stop them from being able to; however authonomy admits that no work is truly safe.
However, I think that it's still ridiculously unlikely that somebody will steal anything, as all work on the site is always being read by other people; meaning that if something is worth stealing, it will have been read by a lot of people who keep their eyes on new books, and possibly by the editing board themselves; proof that it's your work.
You still can't be entirely sure, but I have a feeling that they keep track of all work in the system (when you remove something they delete it, so don't worry about that) so that in any legal case you can provide that date upon you originally submitted it. I would email them about it if you aren't sure.
Finally, you could also take some other form of security; I believe that there are other ways to register something as yours without copyright.

I work in Tomorrowland Attractions. Specifically Autopia, Space Mountain, and Star Tours. I have been mostly at Space Mountain lately. As for the name tag, I wear it very rarely. which might be why you didn't see it.
