Let's face it, Achievement Hunter is the reason many of us discovered and joined the Rooster Teeth community. I have enjoyed every single thing released. I get all the jokes. I don't take things to heart because I know it is all in good fun regardless of the content.

However, I have slowly started to notice a slight ... what's the word... discriminatory nature of the guys' commentary from time to time. I understand that someone as brilliant as Ryan and open minded as Geoff would never really feel this way... but for the younger members it seems that homosexuality is a thing they look at from behind a glass and say "yeah, I'm okay with it, who cares" but then if it ever is in their face they tend to become uneasy. Trust me, I have no intention of promoting the idea that guys should touch guys all day every day for the fun of it and you shouldn't protest it... that's silly. I get that "straight" guys don't want to be touched by other guys in a sexual way... that's not really the issue... but the way in which some will say "get the fuck off me" or make a grossed out sound and get angry... that is a bit over the top... I don't mind the jokes. Honestly. I just am concerned that there is so little pro-lgbt content... again, not that I am saying they should be forced to do it. That would be wrong and disingenuous.

I suppose my concern runs deeper. The "gaming community" itself is rather dominated by hetero teens and young adults... all be it that is the unintended result. We all agree that games are things we all can enjoy. I just feel... that when the jokes seem to become more about personal disgust and not light-hearted commentary it further alienates a really unknown fan base. We don't all have pink shoes and makeup on to be targeted... Some of us are rockers and quiet artists, military guys and chefs, police officers and hardware store owners. And we all like to sit down and play the same games... but we have basically no voice, not that we want one to single us out obviously.

I don't know. Perhaps I am over thinking this. Perhaps the AH crew is completely onboard with equal rights and while they don't wish to have consenting gay relationships they support them regardless. But it seems... a few instances... the gents and lads could be ignoring a very large audience by being unintentionally homophobic in their attitudes and commentary. Again... they could be world class advocates for love of all kinds... it's just hard to see it when "You're a homo" and "you're gay" are light hearted insults flung at friends during a non sexual game.

There are a few more "basics" of the Monarchy that could be covered before delving deeper into the details, but I think a quick rundown of the general makeup of Parliament would be a nice break from the previous three journals that have dealt with only the Crown. Again, I know no one cares. haha

My World: My Country: My Government IV

A Parliament, being just and right for the public good to be made manifest in the City Royal of Rothford at the Royal Palace of Rothford, shall convene upon the second day of each new year's start to form a national Legislature invested therein the place said and the time said with the service of passing laws, levying taxes, appointing and approving positions in Government, and making known the concerns and opinions of the public by means of representing a constituency; that each member of said Parliament represent said constituency by virtue of a democratically, representative electoral system of which event, be that of a fair and free election, shall be held in accordance to the terms limited of said members within each House of said Parliament.

      Houses of Parliament

The Nation's Parliament is divided firstly into two Grand Houses and secondly into eight Honorable Houses. Collectively, the Houses of Parliament amount to 700 members.
House divisions and number of members

      ~the Grand House of Peers -- 100
      ~~the Honorable House of Royals -- 20
      ~~the Honorable House of Nobles -- 20
      ~~the Honorable House of Barons -- 20
      ~~the Honorable House of Arms -- 20
      ~~the Honorable House of Courts -- 20

      ~the Grand House of Representatives -- 600
      ~~the Honorable House of Lords -- 100
      ~~the Honorable House of Commons -- 100
      ~~the Honorable House of Congress -- 400

My World: My Country: My Government III

      ~Monarchy: Executive Power Explained

The Monarchy; an institution that reigns, governs, judges, protects, carries out and otherwise decides most actions of State, domestic and foreign; is the executive and judicial power of the nation. Within the Monarchy are all the many offices of power that do not belong to and are not part of Parliament. The Head of Monarchy, being also the Head of State, is the Monarch Royal. The Monarch Royal is, above all, a macro-managing entity for most of the Nation's official State business, domestic and foreign. The "chain of command" for the Monarchy is not a single line of individuals in power with one being in charge of another. Instead, the Monarchy, below the Monarch Royal, is divided into five institutions that together make up the Five Hands of Governance.

      Five Hands of Governance
None being more important than another in the eyes of the Monarch Royal are as follows:

Household Royal- Personal Household Staff of the Monarch Royal; All employees of the Monarchy that work to clean, repair, maintain and otherwise manage the State and Royal (personally) owned property and estates in the Nation that are cared for and used by the Monarchy; Employees of the Monarchy that aid in the day to day management and service of the Monarchy during events and meetings including State Diners and receptions of invited guests as well as the privileged luxury employment of those who provide services such as door guarding, banner raising and gate keeping during all hours of the day.

Palace Court- In large part an advisory court to the Monarch. The positions held in this Court are those that serve the Nation directly as such: the Prime Minister, the Lord Chancellor, the Lord High Justice, President of Congress, Speaker of the House of Commons, Lord Speaker of the House of Lords, etc; and those who serve the Monarch Royal directly as such: the Royal Chief of Staff, the (King's/Queen's) Private Secretary, the Royal Press Secretary, the Lord Adviser-Secretary, the Lord Adviser-General and in times of war-- the Royal War Secretary. These great offices advise the Monarch Royal in every single action taken and also advise each other within this Court. It is designed to have the uniting function to bring together all the leading positions of the realm and discus the many events and actions to be taken or considered without the pressures of political ramifications or gains. However, this Court does not only include those who advise and thus would be merely an advisory board. The institution of the Military resides within this Court under the Lord Adviser-General.

Ministries of Government- The most politically motivated hand, consists of ten Ministries that are given the authority over most if not all domestic actions in the Nation. Led by a popularly, directly elected Prime Minister, the Ministries, on the behalf of the Monarch Royal, govern the nation via public opinion by way of running for election with an association with a political party. The Government has no institutional ties with Parliament.

Chancery- One branch of the Judicial system by means of being led by a Lord Chancellor who acts predominantly as the guardian of the Constitution. With this role he leads the Chancery in two objectives: to record every word said and action done in an official setting by all members of the Crown and Parliament so as to obtain proof of any illegal action done and to provide legal or memory assistance at any time to any member of the Crown or Parliament; and second, to use this information, if necessary and requested by any member of the Crown or Parliament, to act, being the Lord Chancellor, as the Nation's leading prosecutor outside of the Prime Minister's and Parliament's political grasp so as to bring to trial any member of the Crown or Parliament. With this Constitutional Power so great in comparison to others and having to do with trust and correct behavior according to the Constitution, the Lord Chancellor is one of two, the other being the Monarch Royal, who in the event of performing illegal actions so much as to damage the position of Lord Chancellor or the Hand of Governance that is the Chancery or the Nation as a whole to the point of irreversible harm, Death by beheading should and will be the justice of the Crown and People.

Courts of Lawful Reason- Second branch of the Judicial system by means of being the Courts in which all cases are brought before (a) Judge(s) to be given a verdict and sentencing. All matters law, equity and otherwise personal shall be considered in these courts. Jurisdiction shall narrow at the top, being that a High Royal Court reign supreme above all courts and the decisions thereof. The Courts of Lawful Reason are headed administratively by a Lord High Justice, who as well sits neutral among ten Lords Associate Justice on the bench of the High Royal Court and shall not cast a vote on any case but be only active in the persuasion of the ten Lords Associate's verdicts. Should a verdict be tied, a deciding verdict shall then be given by the Lord High Justice. Below the High Royal Court are the Courts of Appeal and further dispersed Provincial Courts, County Courts and Small Claims Courts. Parliament, and no other, reserves the right to create new courts.

The Hands of Governance make up the whole of the Monarchy's duties, functions and day to day actions. Though, there are certain understandings and unquestioned conditions. The Household Royal and Palace Court are the only two Hands that are directly controlled by the Monarch Royal. The three others are called Triple I's, meaning they are Informally Independent Institutions so as to be more efficient.

So, apparently I still have the urge to share my uncreative ramblings. This journal will be another short and sweet one further describing the basic structure at the top of the power chain.

My World: My Country: My Government II

The Crown, being a collective legal term for all things not of Parliament, is built upon and supported by two foundations of power in which all Judicial and Executive authorities reside.

      ~The Monarchy
      ~The Great Seal

The Monarchy, an institution bound by the constitution to govern and manage the Nation and its interests, is comprised of all executive and judicial powers. A Monarch, being the Head of State, rules over the Nation as a Constitutional Monarch and is the lifelong Head of Monarchy.

The Great Seal is the symbol of the Nation's identity. It is the unchanging image that is used to give full understanding that the Nation as a whole has made a decision regarding any issue of State and it commands the respect and importance where ever it is seen. The Great Seal is what gives Governments and Monarchs their authority and without it cannot have any power. Because of this separation, it allows for Governments and Monarchs to be removed from power should One step beyond One's limited roles. The physical symbol is shared among three entities:

--The Great Seal itself that is printed and posted on official documents of State, and Court documents like official transcripts and a Judge's or Jury's verdicts and sentencing of defendants in trials. Parliament does not use the Great Seal for it is the Monarch Royal who signs bills into Law and stamps the Great Seal to further give Royal Assent.

--The State Crown, worn only by a Monarch Royal, is the physical and ceremonial object invested with the authority of the Great Seal and is worn by a Monarch Royal in the crowning portion of his or her coronation and the official opening and closings of Parliament.

--The Monarch Royal is the personal embodiment of the Great Seal by virtue of being the Head of State. This grants the Monarch true power, though constitutionally limited, and creates a figurehead for the Nation to follow. However, because the Great Seal is legally separate from the Monarchy, any action done by the Monarch Royal deemed unworthy of the Crown, the Great Seal or Monarchy will result in immediate Parliamentary involvement. Should the actions of a Monarch Royal be deemed by a Special Court of Rothford as treasonous and otherwise excessively harmful to the National Interest and/or the People; of whom are to be protected and collectively represented by the Monarch Royal; to the extent that deaths, unwarranted and illegal wars, controllable poverty on a mass scale, and any other devastating circumstances have been contributed, ordered, controlled or otherwise directly influenced by the Monarch Royal, Death by beheading should and will be the justice of the people and the Crown.

So, finally I am in the mood (mood? mental state? psychological hemisphere? .... mood) to start sharing my world I have been working on for nearly eight years. There are holes and moments of bias in how I've designed/structured things and I am no where near smoothing out any edges. Though, I suppose a good story, epic, history or any other work of art shouldn't be polished to the point of being commercial and boring. (commercial and boring being terms I use that many may and do not use regarding the art I have attached those terms to...)

I do not know what this is, more than a project for my personal spare time, which estimated can range from 22 - 23 hours of my day. However, going into this knowing most if not all could give a rat's ass about what I write and thus will not comment, regardless of my good or bad creations and the lack of information or the possibility of future journals explaining what I have intentionally omitted... should a comment find its way to my journals in the form of a question, general comment or constructive criticism it will be welcomed and addressed. This is more or less a catalog for my thoughts on my personal project.

I suppose the only place to start is the beginning. The only trouble -- there is no beginning. Over the last two years I have gone further back in "time" (fictional) and created many more "eras" of "history" that lead up to my original creation. So, the beginning would "historically" start there. (4000 years ago) For the sake of my own sanity I will not start with the span of "time" that I have made the least progress in designing, structuring and creating. I don't think I will start even with the "beginning" of the original story. Instead I will start with a dissection of the power/government/systems I first created and have since altered. (Further changes are never taken out of the equation and past Journals can easily become outdated one day and relevant again the next.)

My World: My Country: My Government

Power; being the protection of the public, creating of laws, collecting of taxes and all other matters of State and National Interest; is invested within two equal institutions.

      The Crown & Parliament

The Crown, an all encompassing legal term for the institution obligated with the enforcement and protection of law, is lead by the Head of State, a Monarch.

Parliament; an institution made up of elected Representatives; is divided into two Great Houses, collectively divided further into eight Houses, and given the sole authority to act as the nation's legislature.

Everything falls under these two institutions with little to no positional overlap, save the required checks and balances to keep corruption, ideally, to a minimum.

About three to four months ago, two or so months before becoming a member, I discovered the Let's Plays and Thing's to dos for GTA V made by the guys at Achievement Hunter. I liked it so much that I binged every single video. Then, I found the minecraft Let's Plays and binged every single one. I even managed to catch up on the exact day that episode 100 was released.

Since then, I have become a massive fan of not only Achievement Hunter but all of Rooster Teeth. I am not a sponsor for financial reasons, but I still listen to the podcast as soon as I'm allowed and then a week later I watch the same one to see the live action shots, because let's face it... there's nothing that compares to Gavin's face when anything confuses him.

This morning, I have found myself revisiting a lot of those videos that got me interested in RT. Specifically "Bad Santas". I have laughed my ass off so much even after already watching it before and knowing what will happen. True entertainment and comedy will keep you hooked no matter how many times you hear or see it.

Thank you Rooster Teeth for making life a tad more bearable every day, until Sunday... Game of Thrones is on... you can wait an hour. <3

When you have good days you feel amazing. You feel like you are on top of the world and nothing can ruin your mood or distract you from your goals.

When you have bad days you feel like the world is the result of a failed formation of a black hole. A star that has lost all its heat and light but retained the gravity to keep you pulled down so violently it crushes every atom apart.

And some days are a mix of the two. Mornings can start off numb. Midday can be a happy, care free bliss. Afternoons can be depressing but manageable. Evenings come with the emptiness and emotions you wish you could run away from.

      Today was the latter.

I would like to make a video with them but I don't have the equipment to do so. So I want everyone to check out Smash Mouth's 'I Wanna Stay Home Today' and help make this dream come true! '(>.<),

PS. If possible the preferred makers would be none other than our hosts Rooster Teeth but, if you feel inclined to make one by all means please do go ahead.
