      Oh ye, its PKAngel88.

I've heard really good things about Fallout, I'll probably get it once I'm done with some of my other games. Didn't expect it to be quite as good as old oblivion though.

Cheers, I got a bunch of dvd's like the Dark Knight and The Invasion (Its got Daniel Craig in it, good stuff) plus loads of cash and clothes, stuff like that.

      How's about you?

Oh, and I'll see you at Iains tonight.

Oh i know, the DS is reserved for when you cant play a real console if you ask me. This morning i was sitting in at my cousins for his tv coming since he was at work, first time i had played my DS in months.

I dont think it was revolutionary, its great fun though. You should try Resi4, the control scheme is great on it. There are some im looking forward to, Metroid, Heatseeker and Brawl being the main ones, plus some others. I think it might take a while for then to build a massive list of games i want like there was for the GC.

Unfortunately not, i would have loved a black one. They're releasing a new type of Wii at the end or autumn of this year though, it'll have DVD playing functions but cost more. Maybe they'll make them multiple colours. Are you going to buy one?

I also think they were a tad quick to decided it was a murder-suicide. Maybe he didn't kill then at all. I mean why would he?

He was rather good at that. He was one of the wrestler I enjoyed watching. Saw him last week I think. Never again.

Back in 1971-1977, the Vega cost around $3000 while the Cosworth Vega cost about $6000. Of the 3508 Cosworths ever made, an estimated 400 remain in running condition. The Cosworth is sought after mainly by the members of the CVOA (Cosworth Vega Owners Association), but occasionally someone else will buy one, which usually ends up in them joining the group. Although they're understood and admired by those in the club, many others have no clue, and only remember the faults of the Vega, which was known for rusting due to the use of cheep steel.

But, the Vega was one of GM's first roboticly welded cars, and the Cosworth had a number of firsts. GM's first production car with dual overhead cams, electronic fuel injection, and it was designed for racing at high rpm for long periods of time.

      Taken from www.cosworthvega.com

At the beginning of the the 21st Century, in the decade of the "twenties" or the "two thousands" or whatever, the Cosworth Vega today remains RELEVANT to every car that comes down the road.

Electronic fuel injection, stainless steel headers, production cast aluminum wheels, 16 valves in hemispherical combustion chambers, dual overhead belt driven camshafts, and pistons sliding directly on die-cast aluminum cylinder bores, were all pioneered by the Cosworth Vega.

These elements are shared with a host of MODERN automobiles.

Rare, with but 3508 manufactured, you may never encounter one driving on the street. That is one of its many charms and attractions.

A quick glance is enough to tell you that this is not your ordinary Vega. The differences are more than flash and sizzle; beneath the Cosworth Vega's distinctive exterior lies a heart and soul completely different from every other 25 year old car out there.

As Car and Driver marveled and predicted in 1973 !:

Cosworth Vega-16 Valve. More than an engine. A taut muscled GT coupe to devastate the smugness of BMW 2002tii's and 5-speed Alfa GTV's. A limited run of 4000 machines, each one built away from the tumult of the assembly line to precision tolerances, as a show of technical force by Chevrolet. All of them will be collector's items. ---- Car and Driver, August 1973

Ah, there's where you're wrong. It's a Cosworth Vega, not a Vega. Although, the standard Vega handles surprisingly well for its time, the Cosworth Vega was designed for racing. Plus, they're really fun cars.

Sorry for stretching the page. The brakes and suspension is standard to the Cosworth Vega, although that may be changing soon. As far as the turbo, I'm still gonna do it, but I'm rethinking it's position

Oh, and I hit 8500rpm at the end. I'm not gonna go quite that high for a while.

Just got back from vacation. I took the unfinished turbo out because I had to take a 2300 mile trip with the car.

3000? must have taken up your whole space. Btw, we got that storm that was over your place a day or 2 ago, was brilliant, loads of thunder and lightning.

You have to show me that article tomorrow. I really want to read it. If you still have it that is?

I took the entire turbo setup out

Oh no doubt about that. I love the gun but it just isn't accurate. I would prefer to attach a grenade launcher to it. They just don't do that enough in games.

It looks like it. A pity really. Just a step down from a 'K.

You never know. They might pull it off well. Sometimes it's just about luck and a well written script.

Ye, X3's good for a no-brain film i guess, the first 2 pirates are great though, hope the third is as good.

I dunno, im thinking of buying one right now actually, there are some good games for it and resi 4 comes out at the end of the month, but i still want to wait and see if they'll bring out a black one like they said they would. That would look cool

Thanks for telling me but I was at Alan's all night so I missed it. What was it called?

    • Zigfrey

Well as long as you can see a difference when you look at the car then we can assume it does something. Did it cost much?

Yeah actually, I think that's today. I beleive he asked me what time we were seeing the movie today and said if it was after 15:00 then he'd come aswell. I said we were going at 12:00 and I asked why 15:00 and he said because he had a driving test I think. It might just be another lesson but he did mention his test earlier the day before. Oddly enough he thinks it's a good idea to drink lot's of beer the night before his test and then drink water on the day to dull his nerves. I'm not quite sure what he's thinking. (By the time you've read this you'll probably already know).

    • Zigfrey

Interesting. I guess it just maks the car look sleeker a shine, right?

    • I_PK_You

Haha, and the first 8 pages were all essay, so it was all stuck together. I dont know why anybody would want to do archaeology, i couldnt stand it for a semester, let alone a carear!

    • I_PK_You

It went well i think (always hard to tell with essays), i wrote for 10 straight pages, so i rekon that'll be enough. Im just glad to finally be on holiday, i wne into town and bought loads of games and dvd and stuff, everything ive wanted over the exam period.

Went into a jobs agency while i was in town, should be getting some work soon, which is cool.

That must prove to be a very enjoyable driving experince. But conditioner? Like the stuff you use on your hair? Am I missing something?

    • I_PK_You

That sounds great, bad steering and no safety ratings, just a deathly combination, no?

    • I_PK_You

Oh you prefer to be completely connected to the car. Surely some power steering must be okay. Top Gear always commented on how the Ford pickup, the most sold car in America or something, steering felt like it wasnt connected to the wheels at all.

    • I_PK_You

Ye i always thought they looked real thick on mustands, stuff like that. Does the Capri have power steering? sounds stupid, but a cousin of mine had an old ford and he siad it was a nightmare to turn corners with, the steering was really heavy.

They're nice, and 40 pound a wheel is pretty good, i think my parents paid more than that for our Polo!
Them looking good is the main thing though, haha.

Really? Man, i dunno if he'll be that good... thought they would have picked someone a bit more serious for the job, like Vin Diesel or Christian Bale...someone like that.

Bugger, unfortunate that I missed it. Perhaps you can provide quotes from it?

Oh and I saw your last quote. Nice. I completely forgot about that.

      Er..what's Pitch Black?

    • Zigfrey

I guess so. Aslong as what you're looking up can't be an opinion then wikipedia's a good source. Once you move on to something with opinions, that's where it get's out of hand.

    • Zigfrey

Really? What did you use it for?

    • Zigfrey

Quite interestingly, when my brother was browsing wikipedia yesterday, he found that someone had owned the death metal page. It's fixed now but before all it said was death metal sucks and that people who listen to it are sad. The fatal flaw of wikipedia, but it was quite humerous.

No, I've only seen one turbocharged Vega and one supercharged Vega, both Cosworths.

Well, soon to be two turboed Cosworths smiley0.gif

Is it front or rear wheel drive?

    • Cosworth

"does this mean that the engine is done then?"

Hahahaha...... good one. It's far from running, but I'm on summer break now, so I won't be restricted to the weekends for work. As far as why I did the turn signals, I wasn't quite in the mood for metal fabrication at the time.

    • Zigfrey

That's a great idea! I'll make a journal an we can just stick the best quotes that come to mind in it.

    • Cosworth

I've finally started on my home-made turn signals. They're turning out alright so far. So far.

    • Zigfrey

Far to easy. It needs to be something out of the ordinary and yet something that people can get. If no one can guess then there wouldn't be much point.
