      Weird Lady

Some weird lady today wanted me to compensate her with $2 in gas money for driving from Lakeway to my grocery store, which is a 30 second drive down the road. I mean what's $2 to her? Lakeway is like one of the richest areas in west Austin. I guess she has nothing better to do then have a large abundance of money, so she schemes different ways she can be a bitch. You are a shitty person and I hate you.

      Fellowship of John

Well, today was the last day for my favorite floor manager John. He moved to a different HEB (Largest grocery store chain in Texas) for a higher position. This is the man who recognized my work effort, gave me me a push towards higher positions, and will ultimately be the reason why I will help supervise the flow of 1.5 million dollars of merchandise per week that goes through the front end at the age of 16. He's also the reason why I will still be able to get 40 hours a week as the closing manager during school.

Anyways, today was his last day so me and a few other people close to John (who are now dubbed the Fellowship of John) screwed around at the store for the last few hours. The festivities included cart races in the parking lot, cart races in the store, dodgeball, consumption of those little tv dinners made for babies, gallon of milk drinking, and just plain chilling with one of the best people I will ever know.

Once John has his own store it will be completely run by Fellowship of John members and will be the greatest and most profitable grocery store known to mankind!

      Six Flags

Despite the story of the girl getting her feet sliced off, I'm going to drive to San Antonio for some Six Flags Fiesta Texas fun. Right now I'm waiting for my friends to get off vacation so we'll probably end up leaving around July 17th. It'll be a nice change of pace not going with the family. I'm avoiding Scream though (similar ride to the one she got her feet cut off on). It was in Kentucky but I'd still like to keep all my limbs. smiley0.gif

Looks like I've got a new job

It's not official, but my interview there went really well. It was at CVS, a grocery store/pharmacy, which is a nice change of pace the busy grocery store I worked at before. The manager who interviewed me knew a lot of the people who I worked with and thinks I have better references and experience than others he's interviewed even though I'm just 16. I was going to be a cashier which is about $7.50 an hour but it would be a hassle since they'd have to override every transaction in which someone was buying alcohol or tobacco because of my age. So instead they will put me at merchandising which makes about $10+ an hour, big bucks me.

Anyways, I'm really excited about that and maybe my co-op teacher will get off my ass now.

Wreck + Ticket = Pissed mom

Alright so a couple of weeks ago I was heading home from school and rear ended someone. I couldn't read their bumper sticker, what can I say? So while it actually wasn't my fault, it will go on the insurance that way. So aside from the other guys clinically insane stepmom it wasn't so bad, the dad seems like a pretty level headed guy. Unfortunately, it is the formers car, and the latter is simply the messenger.

So to top it all off, I got a speeding ticket going to my dads from work. Again, not my fault. I assumed that because I drove a Volvo, a European car, that I didn't have to obey any American highway laws. So of course they found a way to get around that and still give me a ticket. No biggie right? I've got a job, I can pay it off...Right? Nope. That day I got the speeding ticket just happened to be my last day before getting laid off. So now I've got all this to pay off, I'd say up to $1000 just guesstimating and I'm jobless for at least 2 weeks.

FYI, the ticket was for going 83 in the 65.

      First 40 hour week

Well, I finally got my first full 40 hour week. 44.5 to be exact. Even on top of 35 hours of school I managed to get scheduled as often as possible, and it also helps that we are shorthanded due to the closing of my store.

      7-7 With possible playoff hopes

A classic AFC match up between the Titans and Bills takes place this weekend. Both teams have been on a hot streak lately and are fighting for a wild card long shot. We have won 5 games in a row and travel to Buffalo to fight the cold, I think we can pull out with a win though. I guess that's not saying much though, after beating teams like Indy, Jacksonville, and Philly.

      Titan's improve to 3-7

Tennessee pulls out a big one in Philadelphia. Who would of ever thought we would beat the Eagles by 18 points? Let alone in their own stadium.

Ya he was pretty good at LSU. Besides just his run blocking, he's a big physical wideout who has a presence on the field at all times. He will thrive in the NFL if he keeps up his Donald Driver like attitude and style.

I could see the Niners drafting him if we had two first round picks, but I'd rather settle for the 19 year old DT.
