      Me!

      Yeah, fuck you, I'm awesome.

Also, interesting history fact(because I'm seriously this lame). December 16, 1944 is the day the last major German offensive began in World War II, it was dubbed "The Battle of the Bulge."

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of themself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Live, I will kill you, If I Die, You are forgiven." Such is the Rule of Honor.

    • Christopher Coates vs DoJ

Taken from an Examiner.com story, you can follow the link to read the full story: www.examiner.com/law-enforcement-in-national/black-panthers-case-a-travesty-of-justice-says-former-doj-chief
President Barack Obama's handpicked U.S. Justice Department officials are ignoring civil rights cases in which the alleged victims are whites, and they abandoned a voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party that resulted in a "travesty of justice," according to a DOJ official.

Christopher Coates, former voting chief for the department's Civil Rights Division, testified at a hearing before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, after outcries from citizens' groups and public-interest organization over the Justice Department's stonewalling a full investigation.

Coates alleges that DOJ officials, for political reasons, dismissed intimidation charges against New Black Panther members who were videotaped outside a Philadelphia polling place in 2008 dressed in military-style uniforms -- one was brandishing a nightstick -- and allegedly hurling racial slurs.

However, the Justice Department reportedly prevented him from testifying and subsequently transferred him to the U.S. Attorney's Office in South Carolina.

Now in light of developments, Mr. Coates has informed the Commission that he will indeed appear at the hearing and read a statement, after which he will be available for Commissioners' questions. It is anticipated he will provide testimony on Friday about the New Black Panther Party litigation and the equal enforcement of the nation's civil rights laws by the Department.

The case involved members of the New Black Panther Party wearing paramilitary uniforms who positioned themselves at the entrance to a Philadelphia polling place during the 2008 election, one of them brandishing a night stick. Despite the entry of a default in its favor, the Department subsequently dismissed charges against all but one of the defendants and reduced the injunctive relief the Department had originally sought.

The Justice Department originally filed its lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party following an incident that took place outside of a Philadelphia polling station on November 4, 2008. A video of the incident, showing a member of the New Black Panther Party brandishing police-style baton weapon, was widely distributed on the Internet.

According to multiple witnesses, members of the New Black Panthers blocked access to polling stations, harassed voters and hurled racial epithets. Nonetheless, the Justice Department ultimately overruled the recommendations of its own staff and dismissed the majority of its charges.

The Department of Justice whistleblower who resigned over the "corrupt nature of the dismissal' of the New Black Panther case testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights this week. Unfortunately, except for Glenn Beck and a few others, the nation's newsrooms ignored the story. (shocker)

Are you kidding? The guy scares people in to casing National Guard bases. Illegally.
Not to mention he throws the word Communism around despite the fact that he clearly doesn't have any understanding as to what Marxism and it's different variations are. Of course, the same goes for Sean Hannity. Therefore he assumes that every communist is evil and only wants to start up a revolution.

Congress has only just resumed session. We'll see what happens with his Healthcare plan so don't jump the gun just yet.

Yeah, I see your dilemma and being a Catholic I had to make that decision on the matter a long time ago. The way I see it is that the Church is too conservative and is undoing the changes that were made by the Second Vatican Council (like how the Pope brought back in the Tridentine Rite which allows Churches to perform mass in Latin rather than the Vernacular) so I came to the conclusion that the Church's views are antiquated when it comes to dealing with the contemporary world. Ergo, I -personally- cannot rely on the Catholic Church when it comes to moral and political issues unless my own ideals align with it.
However this is Catholicism and not the Church of Latter Day Saints to which I am unacquainted with the belief/moral system thereof.

i was thinkin of cutting into the pickguard or getting a new one to install a humbucker, not a single coil sized one, since the strat i have is pool cutted, i got room for HH or HSH or SSH pretty much

ive been thinking of the invader by SD, you think its ok?

i dont mind having an almost copy of the blink-182 strat lol

Man im in a constant battle for mids, and i can never roll of the high knob, i just cant lol.

Yea man i hear yea, when im done with my gain-fix for the day, i calm down and go into some jazz playing, picking up more from lessons.

Jazz is beautiful, so is blues, which is where jazz is derived from.

I think also, my setup is not very single coil friendly.

Maybe ill convert the strat to SSH ya know? through a hot pickup in the bridge.

Ive always been turned off by single coils, especially with strat styles (just the standards, not noiseless).

Then A visit to the local guitarcenter, played a tele after 10months or so, Loved it, then played a Les Paul with A P-90 in the bridge, loved it.

Now me being a lefty, I was lucky to be able to play even 4 guitars in the place, my friend Picked up a riveria that was used, hooked it up to a blues junior, it was beautiful.

Humbucking in a humbuker shape, but its single coil.

      Garsh

But you never know, Its taste, and you could always decide yourself it the humbucking shape single coils sound nice to you.

Well if money is an issue, you can always purchase a handheld - Heck, I was thinking of getting a GBMicro or GBA SP for the games I still have. Then again, I am considering getting an emulator for PSP, so maybe I'll just download those games and then sell them.

Just ask yourself if you prefer to break the law or not lol.
