Outside of the Roosterteeth cast, I'm seeing nothing come up from anyone besides the occasional check-in with @Priest. Thats it. Nobody else.
I currently have a friends list of 302 but it feels more like three.

I've been thinking recently that the reason the world is in the state that its in, or rather I should say humanity, is because for better or worse we do everything we do for the sake of comfort and convenience.
Good or bad, positive or negative, as long as something is comforting and convenient, we'll play along.
Smoking? Who cares that its killing you, its comforting and convenient.
An eye for an eye? Who cares that it makes the world go blind, its comforting and convenient.
Attaching negative stereotypes to those that disagree with you? Who cares that it creates an echo chamber, its comforting and convenient.
And violence, oddly enough, is both comforting and convenient. Its far easier to give in to the primal urge to cause pain/hurt than it is to take the longer, harder, more arduous route of peaceful problem solving.
Its why we have rampant negativity in a physical, mental, spiritual, and psychological sense. Its why we respond to that negativity with more negativity, either of the same sort or of a different sort, but negativity nonetheless.
Until humanity realizes that we are now smarter and more self-aware than we were at the start of our growth into existence, we're not going to change anything. But if we do snap to that reality, we might actually get a chance to ask an astronomically difficult question to answer- What replaces violence?
Violence is a primal urge at the center of nearly everything that exists the way we understand existence. It is core to who we are as a people and as beings in the planes of existence we recognize. We've used violence as our vehicle to further our race's rise to the top of the perceptible chain of power, command, and responsibility. Violence is the foundation upon which humanity has reached the level we have attained.
But its comforting and convenient. It has flaws, its always had flaws, its very existence is a flaw, a negative. Perhaps that can be seen as just one perception, but violence is more prone to destruction than to healing(though of course, it can aid both).
People will say "Peace would replace violence" but that isn't so. Peace is merely the absence of violence. Peace is a byproduct of violence not being utilized. Its not a vehicle that can be used for the advancement of a race, nor can it be the foundation of growth that violence is.
So, what can take violence's place? What can assume that role and carry with it a higher rate of positivity with little to no negativity to come along with it? If humanity can figure that out, if we can answer that question, and actually overcome years of conditioning to embrace violence as the inherent answer, then we have to move to the even more astronomically harder task of implementing violence's replacement as the new foundation for our future growth and cause for effect in existence. And that is mind boggling to grasp.
Until we do this, expect more violence in the future. After all, it is comforting and convenient.

So the other day I was playing Life is Strange:Before The Storm. Fantastic game. I'm a fanboy of LiS so this prequel has me giddy and is basically my life at the moment. I'm literally thinking about it 90% of the time I'm at work.
Don't worry, I'm avoiding spoilers-
During Episode 2, there is a moment where two characters are walking down a street having a conversation and the choice in music was absolutely fucking perfect. The way it was interlaced into the scene, the emotions it gave, the way it was utilized, it was just flawless. Given I can relate so much to one of the characters, I was shook. Apparently to the point where I said, "I'm going to buy an acoustic guitar, learn how to play, and I'm gonna play this song."
The song in particular is "Taking You There" by Broods-
And so not being a bitch who only talks the talk(to himself), I actually bought myself a Yamaha FG800 and have already begun learning how to play. I'm still waiting for my case and the accessories I bought for it(stand, picks, tuner, etc etc) but I've already been tuning my guitar with the help of the Guitar Tuna app(not a typo) and have been practicing my E Minor and A Minor chords. Gonna have to say RIP to my soft fingertips as they're gonna have to get calloused but it'll be worth it for jamming out.
Maybe I'll even write my own song about how they're called sprinkles(not jimmies) and play it for @Kaoru27Umi lololol
Anyway, I'm fuckin excited. I bought a Nato wood dreadnaught guitar to start, I figure once I get comfortable I might try out other woods like Rosewood or Mahogany and opt for a concert guitar.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to push through the finger tip pain and keep on keepin on. Hope y'all are doing well and got things going on. :)

So beforehand, my vision was poopshite. Not great.
Then I went in for LASIK, paid $5K(eeeeewwww), and had suction cups around my eyes, and a laser reshaping my balls of sight. The smell of burning eyeballs is...odd. Doesn't smell delicious.
Anywho, now the day after I'm 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in the other, though that'll change over the next few days to have me at 20/20 in both. Though I did tell him and the others that I wanted 20/-5 so I could see into the future. I trusted them. I BELIEVED.
Note to the world, make the people around you laugh. Here's the full WWE introduction I gave to my doc, word for word-
"Welcome to The World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, for the main event of the evening.
The following is a two on one handicap match scheduled for one fall, falls can only be counted by laser correction.
In this corner, the challengers, hailing from the dawn of human existence, you know them as the banes of visual acumen, the tag team of, Near Sightedness and Astigmatism!
And in this corner, hailing from the borough of Brooklyn, New York City, New York, you know him as The Man, The Myth, The Legend, and the reigning, defending, Operating Champion of The Wooooorld, his momma told him to knock you out, DR. *name of my doctor*!"
Had him in stitches. Probably needed someone to operate on him afterward. *not sorry*
So now, I can see like the normies again. I'm one of "them". Eye drops every few hours, everything's crystal clear again. Good stuff.
Hope you guys are doing well. I now have to go on a quest to rebuild my goddamn bank account so its not in the pits. hahaha

So my vision used to be like, 20/15. Then 20/20. Now its the shits. Well its been terribad for a while now. Few years. I had a LASIK consultation just yesterday to see if I'm eligible to have my vision corrected surgically and as it turns out, I am!
Appointment Date- July 19th, 2017
no wait, lemme check my bank balance. *checks* Okay where was I? Right.
Basically not gonna be spending any money at all for the next two months, GG Send a prayer
Though for what its worth, I'm actually excited. Wish it was sooner. The surgery, not the paying for it.
Lets hope for some clear vision again, aye?
