    • Web Comics I like.

Well a quick update, just finished with my week off and needed it two fold because I haven't took leave in a while and had an excess balance right before the new Fiscal Year. Got to see a Friend I have not seen since before I went to Embassy Guard duty. He just got out of the Army and met his bride from the Philippines.

Either way since not much is going on I just got done reading RvsB funny webcomic on the HAL0 Reach and decide to do a few reviews on the webcomics I read regularly. I like webcomics because they are not as censored as Sunday Funnies which is made to be safe for Sunday school, and the social ones have a down to earth look on life. Well not in any order here they are.

Dilbert Okay the first one is a Sunday funny and for good reason. Ever wondered what is going wrong with the US Economy? They got some insightful answers.

Ctrl+Alt+Del Who here doesn't like video games? We all are gamers here, so some people do and don't like this webcomic. I find it often funny.

Looking For Group Okay never played the Evercrack or World of Wack games but know allot of people that do. Not to mention also watch the web video The Guild. So while I am mostly disconnected with the online community of their second life. I do get allot of the jokes from both sides.

Something PositiveA comic on life and all the Bull Shit that often comes with it. Got to say I share the sarcastic and satire attitude on the way things happen. Who can explain why thing are messed up? Better question is why would I care about anything I don't have control over?

Candi I have a Sister that is currently going to University of Washington as a Pre Med student. Although the character goes to a different school and a different major. I use this webcomic to have some insight to what might be going on with her life.

Menage a 3 As the name might state this isn't a comic you would read at work. But it is another one of those social comics I find interesting. Not to mention the I have alot in common with the main protagonist that I don't usually share with everyone that I meet. It just get revealed anyways.

Penny and Aggie Having another little sister(I have 3 of them) who is high school age. I kind of use this as a fresh perspective on high school social life that I usually shun for church boy life. Good thing my sisters choose their own path then follow my footsteps.

No Need For Bushido A webcomic with Magna style art taken place in feudal Japan. Dosn't update frequently as some of the other webcomics.

Girls with Slingshots I found this webcomic the same way I found Menage a 3 and Penny and Aggie when Randy Maholland, author of Something Positive (S*P) did a crossover with this comic. Every now and then the comics story lines crossover again thanks to the Mascot of S*P so now and then I check with this webcomic to see the other side of the story.

      Ok a small rant warning.

But why am I seeing Christmas Decorations and commercials IN #@%$ SEPTEMBER!!!!! Seriously I mean Christmas is over 4 months away. Summer just ended and you want to sell stuff for the winter?

So for these next few months I'll probably be making sure I never turn on the TV or listen to Radio until after Thanksgiving. That is the time I prefer to see and hear holiday ads and programs. Now I can understand those businesses who need to get the word of their product out early might advertise a coupld of weeks early in November, I can tolerate that. But October and Earlier? That is too much.

    • HAL0 REACH (Im/De)pressions.

Well been playing halo reach and got the 1st weekly challenge done beating the campaign on heroric. Me and my friends are compareing Reach Heroric to HAL0 3 Legendary. Either way glad it is out and one of the best HAL0 games ever. I mean all the things the past HAL0 games were lacking in my mind reach brought it back. Spartians VS elites, large scale vehicle battles, larger campaign levels that don't feel so linear. However with it being such a great game at the same times it is kind of sad. I mean sure we all know how it ends everyond dies and the planet gets destroyed. So the campaign dose have a sad undertone. I mean the first scene ever is seing your helmet with a shattered visor on the ground of the scorched surface of reach. Even though they tried to give it a happier undertone by showign the same scene years later after the conclusion of HAL0 3 with some grass letting you know the eco system is starting to grow back. It helps the mood but not by much. Another sad fact is that the compleetion of Halo reach marks the end of Bungie's involvement in the HAL0 Franchise. The split with microsoft leaving the right to them. So if Microsoft publishes any more HAL0 games they will have to go with another developer. Then ending of things do add some a sweet sorrow, however when it is time to move on it is time to move on.

I say, we should leave those who surrender to their fate. Then there wouldn't be so many people to protect. Oh, and we should draft all hippies and democrats and send them off to war.

    • Marinealver

Because they don't know any better. They say we politicize 9/11. Well good news if 9/11 never happened then we wouldn't be in that mess. Sorry but 9/11 did happen and it will happen again unless we do something other than cowwer away back across the ocean.

    • Marine00

Personally, I think they should fend for themselves. If they are able to fight, but they choose not to, then why the hell should we cover their asses?

    • Marine00

If you're talking about the Jihadists, at least they don't surrender at the first sign of violence. Though they are pretty bad.

no, they are the company that followed the fallen chapters into the eye but never came back out. they have been fighting a gorilla style war against them there now

    • Glorfingle

There are 13 great companies, each independant of each other with regards to equipment and men, but they all share the same geneseed and the same wolfpriest. The great companies are all Space wolves though. There was a second founding Wolves chapter, but they were cursed and as a result of what happend to them, they never tried to make any second founding chapters

But there are a larger number of Navy and Air Force..Seamen/Airmen. They don't need so many, but we are at war, And the Military offers jobs for people that can't find them. Your sending people that know the Military and sending them to the civilian world looking for a job. Harder than it sounds. The Marines, are self said "Few and Proud." So, why take the Pride and make if Fewer?

    • Churchfriend

The Marines are few enough. Why make it fewer? Also the damn people re-enlistment thing, I think if they still want to serve, let em. Besides, They work hard. The Marines won't call it fired because you can't fire a Marine. There is no such thing as an Ex-Marine. Just a Former Marine

Well, the vinegar reduces the blisters, and it takes away the pain. I also have this gel crap that relieves the pain for a little bit, but if I was in the Marines I do believe they would say "Take Motrin and walk it off." The Vinegar is something my grandmother recommended it works.

Say, if you enjoy gospel, have/do you listen(ed) to David Phelps? I don't really like his solo stuff, but some of the work he did with the GVB was great. He sang tenor for them before he went solo. He has an absolutely incredible voice.
