I have been wanting to paint my Xbox controller for a very long time. Well, I finally did! I am quite happy with the result and plan to do something even better on my Xbox One controller eventually.
I made a post on imgur with the process and end result.

Journals aren't typically my thing, but I felt there needed to be some sort of recap, if at all possible, for the amazing week I spent in Austin. I don't know how else to describe RTX 2014 other than one of the best weeks of my life. I rarely get vacations anymore and I needed the break. I hoped to meet more Cast&Crew this year than I had last year and I hoped to see more of the exhibit hall floor. I expected to meet some of the friends I'd made and reunite with the ones I had seen before. I never thought my expectations would be met and vastly exceeded as much as they were. Once (most of us) had gotten to the hotel and were just chilling and talking, I knew it was going to be a great week. The chemistry within the group was so perfect that we got along the entire time. Not once did I feel like I needed to have time away (except for Greg and his ass herpes .) We were literally a family. We even had our little baby Henry. Spending time with everyone became such a normal thing, that when we all left it felt like parts of us were missing. When it was time to go, it just felt wrong. So I stayed an extra day and I'm so glad I did. It didn't make it easier to actually have to leave the next day though. I told myself I wasn't going to cry, but that didn't go too well. But I was told "Bruh, don't cry. That's gay." and it made me feel better.
There were so many perfect moments throughout the week. I'm sure others will mention as well but I'm going to list a few:
Colin storming up to the front of the karaoke room to sing Gay Bar with Greenie.
Running around downtown in the rain.
Tyson being the only non-C&C to get a Dunkelmania photo.
The endless information about Herbie's butt.
"NOT THE BABY!"
Colin's perfect timing with his "Turn Down For Hwat" alarm in the other room.
Shake. That. Ass for me.
@JJ introducing me to the mystery drink that turned out to be called "Adios MotherFucker"
Summer Shandys! Best beer ever and its seasonal :(
Tyler screaming "REMEMBER ME!" into the phone when I accidentally turned the wrong way onto a one way street.
Dani pushing Greg off a cliff.
"Imagine a marshmallow on a stick."
"Have you ever thought that you might have too many friends?" "No!"
"Can I just say how happy I am to be here with some of my best friends?"-Hobbit "GAYYY!"-literally everyone
I'm certain there are more and I may add them later if there is room.
I have been putting this off trying to think of how I could accurately describe how much fun I had. I didn't get to meet hardly any C&C and I didn't go to that many panels. Honestly, RTX itself took a back seat and the entire week to me was about being with friends. It didn't matter where we went or what we did, if it was together that was all that mattered. This year was over and beyond the time I had last year. I made new friends and got closer to the friends I already had. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect week. Except that I want to go back.
Here's the part where I forget names. So I'm going to start with the awesome group I hung out with, the rest of you I don't name, don't cry, that's gay.
@CmanXP @Hobbit @dani @LGFUADJJ @Cdevon2 @ohtyson @xlitec13 @spurs9ster @LanAnh @Herbert
I seriously love all of you and we are totally moving to Austin together like, tomorrow.

On the battlefield, it can become tough to determine between friend and foe. Especially when you play Halo until four in the morning.
Over the course of the last month or so, I have been brutally murdered by a certain teammate of mine. Our adventures in the Halo series have been previously recorded in other journals. But no light has been shed on the many deaths I've suffered at @Hoorah 's hand, skull, flamethrower.. you name it.
Initially, these incidents were comical, an accident. But once I saw a pattern, I decided to start taking notes. Mind you, I let some go. Also keep in mind that they were never on purpose. Only @TheStigg would do something such as that. He's a team killing fucktard.
The first recorded kill was in Halo 3, where our adventure began. I showed him all the Easter Eggs and Skull locations that I knew. He would name and carry every skull we found. It's a blurry memory now, or maybe I got a concussion.. Because at one point, I was whacked in the back of the head by said skull I found for him.
On to planet Reach. This was a game I had not completed, so it was his turn to show me secrets and interesting locations. Did you know that the highways guard rails are faulty? Well I do and now you do too. All I remember from that is, "Hey watch this.." as the Warthog went sailing through the barrier and off the cliff. He meant to just bump it to show it was not secure. However his point was made as it did not stop us from going off after it.
Not long after that, I was a victim of a sniper double kill. As we fought our way back into Sword Base, he took out grunts from the safety of the tunnel. Who knew the bullet would go through the grunts tiny brain and continue on to me. It was a quick and painless death. How nice of him.
Then we decided to go back in games and forward on the Halo timeline to ODST. This was a game I had tried so many times to get into and never could. This time, like any other game, was made better with him at my side. Here, there were a few small situations that I decided to let slide. Killing me to take my grenades was partially my idea, so that doesn't count. But burning me to death with the flamethrower I helped find was another story. I even picked it up and brought it to him, only to be cooked by it soon after.
After wandering all over the city to find the collectible audio logs, we tried to do the next to last mission to get the final one at the end. Not to spoil it too much, it's a series of banshee battles, tunnels, and opening doors. We had raced to the mission start because we went opposite ways through the city. I may or may not have thrown spike grenades at him cause I was like 5 feet behind... So later as we cleared the area to move on, I got out of my banshee to hit the button. Little did I know that another banshee was going to come flying in to smash me against the door. Rest assured that I payed him back for it.
EDIT: He also waited for me to fly my banshee into the hive of engineers before blowing them up. He got REALLY quiet and just let me fly right in the middle of them. Sneaky sneaky.
In his defense, I die quite a bit in Halo. It's almost my thing. I go rushing in guns blazing, and he's always there for me when I need to respawn. So it's only a matter of chance that some of the times I die is because of him. In truth, I wouldn't have it any other way.
There will be more games, more friendly fire, and probably more journals. So stay tuned.

An account of my recent Haloing. (Old) Spoilers included.
I like to say that Halo started my console gaming life- specifically Halo 3. Recently I've had the chance to play through it again and get caught up on the newer games. When I first got my 360, I got Halo 3 with it. I didn't get Live or any other games until a while later, and therefore played through the campaign a BUNCH of times.
Once I got ODST and Reach (and recently Halo 4), I had Xbox Live and didn't bother to complete the campaigns for them. I tried both ODST and Reach and felt I just couldn't get into the story. I haven't even touched Halo 4 yet.
When @Hoorah told me he had never played the Halo 3 campaign, I told him he HAD to play it. Luckily, Halo 3 was one of the Games with Gold that Xbox has been doing. That was our chance.
Even though I had played it sooo many times before, I felt like I didn't truly know the story. While going through it with Dylan I learned things about it that I hadn't understood before. It was refreshing to play it again and fun to show him all the Easter eggs and skull locations. You can read his journal here about some of our adventures. I plan to do a journal later concluding the Friendly Fire that has been going on... because I'm sure there will be more to come.
Once we finished the Halo 3 run-through, I had mentioned that I had never finished the Reach campaign. He strongly urged that I played it. So we started on that. I NEVER knew what Reach was about. AT ALL. Once the story picked up and I recognized Dr. Halsey's voice... I knew it was going to be good. I knew at least George was going to die. I had heard those spoilers a long time before. But I admit I gasped when Kat was shot. From there it was a little obvious that the rest would not make it. The guy in the pelican died in a cool way. In the end they all died in pretty epic ways, saving the remaining members of their team. Dylan explained things to me along the way that helped bridge the gap from Reach to Halo. I also never realized how quickly the events of Halo's 1, 2, and 3 happened. It was within a few weeks or months. The end to Reach was pretty epic and sad.. I died as quickly as I usually do. But this time I wasn't able to come back.
Next we might try ODST or Halo 4. Or we might just play some Firefight matches and mess around. If we could, I'd love to play Halo 1 and 2 campaign through and complete the journey. Doesn't matter what we play. Building secret passage ways into each others rooms to play hide and go seek in Minecraft is enough for me.
Much Halo. Such Spartan. Master Doge 117. Very gun. Amaze. Wow.

I was convinced I should make journals more often so here you go.
For a while now I've been told that I just had to try out Skyrim. I knew it was a huge game and people have spent hundreds and thousands of hours playing. Well I finally bought it a few weeks ago and saw what I have been missing. It has pretty much taken over my life. So here are a few odd stories about glitches and fun times I've had while playing.
Just for reference: I bought the Legendary edition which included all of the current DLC (Dragonborn, Hearthfire, and Dawnguard). My character is a female Dunmer (dark elf) named Elandr. I decided that this was going to be my "evil" or bad character play through. So I went with things like the Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and all other morally questionable acts. I decided not to act in the Civil war storyline or in the Dawnguard story line and leave that to my "good" character play through which I'll do next.
That being said, I had no idea about the story of the Elder Scrolls or anything about the world. Everything that had to do with the Dragonborn I thought was for the DLC. My plan was to get that out of the way and then finish the main story. I was so impressed with the way the two intermixed. I felt like I couldn't distinguish between the main story and the Dragonborn story. Little did I know that they really are the same (spoiler alert). So I was like "wow this game is huge!" And then about 5 minutes after I finished the main story line... I was like.. oh.
-On to the first "glitch" I came across: The horse I affectionately named.. "You Bitch"
There is a stable outside of the city of Riften. You can speak with the man there named the horse crusher or something weird like that. You can also bet him that you can win a fist fight. And so I did. After that he's pretty much friends with you. Now, whether or not this is a true glitch or he just lets you ride his horses for free.. Please don't tell me, I don't want the illusion ruined. I picked the horse in the stable without a saddle and just rode off with him to where I needed to go. He would even fast travel with me like any horse that you own. But as soon as I got off of him or right after I fast traveled, he would turn and start to walk away. I would get attacked by wolves or bandits on the road and have to get down to fight. When I turned back around, he would be gone. I would often see him walking away and I would say "Get back here you bitch... " and so the name stuck.
After a while though.. He got caught in the crossfire of a dragon and burnt to a crisp so.. Rest in peace You Bitch.
-On to the next: My husband and housecarl fighting. (More like all of my followers goin nuts on me..)
So with the Heartfire DLC you can build a nice homestead on a plot of land once you become Thane of a hold. I was Thane in many holds, one being the Pale. I had a housecarl named Gregor whom I also named my steward of my homestead. I also married a random dude from Morthal named Benor.
I was in my house one day decorating and putting a sword in a show case. Suddenly I heard my Steward (Gregor) say "hey, whats that?" and my husband (Benor) answer "thats mine, i saw it first". Gregor then said "I'll kill you if i have to" and Benor said "Not if I can help it." I went into the bedroom and my husband was getting out of bed. I went downstairs and my steward was standing down there with his sword drawn. My husband calmy went downstairs and Gregor started whacking away at him. At that point I think I reloaded and tried again and the same thing happened! So I went to Gregor before the attacking started and asked to trade items with him and I took his sword away. He then ran upstairs, got in my chest of weapons, and took out the most powerful staff I had. Then went to town on my unsuspecting husband..
So I then went up to my husband and told him to follow me, thinking I could lead him out of the house and away from Gregor. Wrong! This made him defensive of me and therefore aggressive towards Gregor. That's why in that picture his axe is drawn. In the end Benor's health went all the way down and Gregor stopped. I'm still not sure what it all was about.
Fast forward a few Skyrim days...
I also have a house in Riften and a housecarl there named Iona. I always made her stay at the house cause followers are annoying and just get in the way. I went to that house to get the rest of my stuff to move to my big homestead. After harvesting some crops in my garden and killing the chicken for its meat, I went inside and Iona says "you never should have come here" and started attacking me...I had no choice but to kill her.. People are really defensive of chickens in Skyrim.
I go home..Gregor came out of the house and started attacking me. I had to kill him too...
I go inside... and you can see the result of the incident there...
So no more husband, no more followers, I did hire a new steward. And hid Benor's head and body in my storage room, where it has never despawned... It WONT. GO. AWAY. So yeah, I literally have skeletons in the closet in Skyrim.
-Lastly, before this becomes a novel. I am the ultimate dragonslayer.
In order to build a house you have to gather materials such as lumber, iron, and clay. Rather than spending money I decided to find mines with iron and get it myself. I came out of the mine to go back home and heard a dragon. so I was like, dangit okay where is he..
I looked to the sky to find him and kinda noticed a dark spot far off that was floating in the air not not moving. I ran to get out of the trees to see what it was. Then the object flailed around and fell from the sky. It was a dragon. Dead. As I got closer it started to burn as they do... and I got a soul.
I think I am about out of space for this thing. Hopefully you enjoyed my paragraphs. Bye for now! <3

Four years ago today (06/06/09) I stumbled onto this little site that made the funniest Halo videos I had ever seen. I was a scared little teen and thought that people on the internet were evil. I have yet to be proven wrong.
I thought listening to The Drunk Tank podcast was scandalous.. because I was a sheltered teen as well. So all the cuss words and drinking was like :o omg he said fuck...
Since then I've been weathered to the harshness of the internet and am rarely shocked by things now. I actually had my first drink not to long ago, and I didnt burst into flames or get struck by lightning. And RT still makes the funniest videos I've ever seen.
Sappy journal is sappy. Yay four years. :D

Like anyone else would make a FAQ, I have to answer the same questions all the time. So here's me answering them now. I'll probably add on when I think of more.
So let's do this!
Why is your profile always a picture of your chest?
The first "chest picture" I took was of my Thunder shirt. In order to see the entire logo I had to take a lower picture. I thought it was rather silly and artistic. So I did the same with my new AH shirt. From there I decided to keep the rest of my face a mystery and only provide you with pictures of me from the nose down.
Blue has always been my favorite color. When I was coming up with a gamertag I wanted something simple and easy to call out. I hate when I have to spend 5 minutes reading a gamer tag like xXsUpErElITeDudE3667876rwXx. I also wanted to ensure other players I am a female. So MissBlue it was. Of course that didnt stop them from constantly asking if I'm a girl.
So, are you a girl?
What is Qdoba and why do you talk about it so much?
First of all, www.qdoba.com go see for yourself. Secondly, it's like a Mexican fast food type of place. With huge burritos, nachos, and quesadillas. I love getting their Grilled Chicken Queso burritos.
Can we be friends on RT?
Sure. I add just about anyone. It would be nice if we have at least talked first.
What about on xbox live?
It would be best if we had the same games and would play. Being just friends for being friends sake will just get you deleted later because I'll forget who you are. It's the painful truth, I know.
What's it like to be a librarian?
It's pretty dang awesome! I have a part time job on campus at the information desk in the library. I sit here all day answering the phone and helping students. But when none of that is happening, I get on my laptop and play games and talk to you guys! I get paid minimum wage to play video games and occasionally get harassed by passing students and nerdy boys.
I now work in the FAB lab on campus. I play with lasers and 3D printers. Yes, play. It's more fun than it is work.
