I'm actually doing really well!Things are a lot quieter now that I don't have my siblings running around anymore. Of course I go visit them whenever I have time.Actually I' haven't ran into any money trouble yet.And now I have a new job and I get some money from the government to cover my rent and such so I don't think I'm gonna have to loan money from the local organized crime syndicate any time soon. Thanks for everything!
This song made me cry... because I found my somebody. <3
I am soooo jealous!
On the flower one, it's Prismacolor Colored Pencils I used on that, very good color pencils at that :P

What do you mean, you weren't finished with your thought in the original comment or what? I can understand what you must be going through at this time as well as other times throughout the year.
Wow! That is something else! Yeah, wonder how far they do go? Interesting indeed. Thanks for sharing that - a special thing to do every year, that's awesome.
You welcome!Sometimes a simple hug is all that needs to be said.
yep yep!I have to go catch the bus now!
Now we just Mourn the loss of my Baby Brother who was shot & killed November of 2003, aprox. 7 months after he was deployed to Iraq.
I'm so sorry to hear that. May his memory be with you always - and on days like today - his spirit be honored by your honoring all veterans.
He doesn't get off before 4 right?Cuz well my bus ends up near Jess's house around 3:30ish.Well I'll be there either way k.
har har har! hehe k, I'll call or something when I get to Jess's house.
hmm k prolly just go into castroville, or uhh err when does he get off, maybe it will be a good idea if I go to Jess's then...
I had the same reaction when I was in the Corps in the 80's. People coming up to me and saying how much they hated Jar heads.
hows about couch? =D heheh
Now I want a Turkey leg...heehee! xD
Lots of folks were eating them yesterday!
I wonder if you can find patterns!? If you make a new Costume...Please post a pic! i'd love to see it! xD
I usually check out the 'costumes' section of the pattern books, the Internet is a good source of patterns also - eBay. You have to adapt what is available to your desired design. Sometimes you have to combine two or three patterns (different parts of each) to get the end result. Not sure when I'll start a new costume - but you can be sure I'll post progress pics here!
My Hubby & I love going to the Renn Faires & Scottish/Celtic Games/Faires...in Costume! it's so much fun...makes you (almost) feel like you've stepped back in Time! Yay Faires!!!! xD
I agree 100% - now if I can just convince my spouse to wear a costume. It spoils the effect if only one of a couple dresses up. Post edited 11/10/08 6:42PM
You mean Saturday, right? The college games play on Saturdays mostly. They do have a Thursday night slot and the occasional Friday night one but the majority are on Saturday.Well, this weekend Alabama plays Mississippi St which is probably gonna be the biggest game of the day. Mississippi St has been doing pretty good this year too, so they could upset No. 1 Alabama. If they don't do it... the week after... Alabama's last regular season game is with Auburn.. so they have their work cut out for them for sure. The Tide vs Auburn game is one of those classic interstate rivalries where you throw away all the stats and let the game play out on it's own, lol.And yeah, the college games are that way too... if your team is fortunate enough to be in the higher ranks, the more chances you have of catching them on the tube.Oh yeah, if you go to www.rivals.yahoo.com and click on the "college football" tab, you can check out a play by play summary of any college game while it's in progress. It's only text updates but it's how I keep up with Oklahoma games when they aren't on tv in my area.
The game probably wasn't telecast in your area then. I thought it might be a nationally televised one but maybe it wasn't. It was on CBS though. The championship game that is currently in place for college football is called the BCS Championship Game. Although it has been in place for 10 years or so, it still doesn't clearly define an outright honest champion most of the time. It leaves a big margin for inconsistencies among teams, coaches, fans... everyone involved. They only pit whomever may be ranked #1 against #2 in their standings at the end of the season. No playoff scenario of any type. For instance, you could have 3 (or more) major schools with undefeated seasons but only the top two would vie for the championship. Just doesn't seem fair to leave out another qualified teams.
Florida will get some cool weather in later January and February - we've even had 'frost warnings'! I live in the middle of the state - so it is warmer here than say - the panhandle or Jacksonville. Today and yesterday - it got up in the lower to mid 80's - sunny, no breeze to speak of - it felt "hot" for November! My "good busy" was a local arts and crafts festival yesterday and a renaissance faire today. I had to fit in the household chores around attending both events. I'm tired - but I had a pleasant time at both. Now I have to gear up to face the week! Have a good one!
The coyotes are very healthy here in the rainforest! The biggest threat is when they lose their fear of man---the animal control agencies want to be notified of any sign of domestication! i.e. laying down in the yard like a dog or running and playing with the pet dogs like it is part of it's pack. I lost three cats in one month when we lived on Fidalgo Island as there are no natural predators to keep them in check! Like cougars here in the mountain regions. Also there's more wild prey here in the mountains for them to feed their young with, however because the town is spread out---we see them in the town, as we see deer and other wildlife. Once saw a black bear walking across the street and into the treeline! We always keep garbage bundled up tight, clean everything before we put it in the cans and all the food scraps go down the disposal! Bones are put in empty clean jars to keep the scent enclosed! Don't want to attract any of those large critters! LOL
I hope you got to see that nail biting game... the Tide winning in overtime 27-21. Awesome game, now back to more awesome games as my day is only half over... the big game coming up in about 30 mins has Oklahoma State playing Texas Tech... gonna be great! lolMy team (Oklahoma) won earlier 66-28, heh!Later....
For you! ...hehe sorry I know it's so darn tempting, just don't eat the computer screen k!
My sickyness went away pretty fast ..... Just had it for 3 days and i didn't take any meds. x)You crazy ladiez get better!
i bein good boi! teehee!
lol @ your description about being diluted.Yeah, I'll keep you posted on Bama! They play at 3:30 on Saturday, don't know about tv coverage yet but I'm sure it will be on there, since it's a big game with a lot riding on it.
oh I forgot that Val gave me a sunkist
ok.Hopefully I can step out for a second or so.I forgot to garggle witht that stuff ok then.think it'll rain, so should I walk?
no, I forget to fill up a bottle so eh, but I did bring money, so maybe I can do that. And I felt really weird too, sinuses were making me really headachey...Poo! I don't wanna be sick! I think I may have jinxed myself, or...it could just be that my face is hot... andI brought a really weird lunch, just a bunch of randome things...still hungry!Agh!ok then, but I will get a hold of you here, or call If I have change!
my face feels warmer than usual, I hope I'm not getting sick!
thank you very much
Sounds so awesome, I love hearing people talk so well of their family.I agree... Madonna!? ... whatever! haha!Cool, my ancestor's are from that area... Alabama. They have a lot of places named after the native languages down there don't they? Like from the Choctaw tribe especially? Being from Oklahoma, they too have a rich native heritage in Choctaws as well as several others tribes, lol.Sure, I can do that, save yourself some browsing... I'm always checking out the college scene online and watching several games every Saturday, lol.
Yup!All moved in!
umm ok then.Ya I'll figure something out. Love ya see ya later!
So I'm going to take the bus around 2:45, I should be there around 3-3:30ish, don't know how long the voting will take, not too long I think, then back on the bus after that, whenever that is, OR maybe if Michael is off, I can just walk on over to Jess's after voting...*wah* what a mouthfull!
Oh I'm so glad that she's not sick. Let's try to keep her that way! I shall bother her to keep warm, wash her hands often, and keep hydrated so many people are getting sick How are you feeling? I'm really hoping you haven't caught anything. And thank you so much for that, I had no idea you had seen that meatloaf XD how unbelievably embarrassing XD I shall make something that actually looks good and tastes good soon and I shall take it over thank you. You all please keep warm, this crazy weather is really doing a number on us and we have to fight back take care second mama!
oh ok cool!I shall try to go there after class. I'll let you know though.
Do you think you can call Jess for me, about where the voting place is?...I don't have any change to make a call... Umm also, is there any way to check online to see if I am registered to vote?
I keep telling myself it will get better. She's in 10th grade now, I hope I can survive until she graduates and moves out!
We got into a HUGE fight Friday over her being grounded. She has no clue how close she came to meeting her maker. How my mom resisted killing all 6 of us with extreme prejudice is beyond my understanding!I'm gonna have to call her again to apologize for being a jerk when I was 15!
Eww, southern comfort! lolBad memories from post high school era for me, haha! But, my main beer is Coors Light. I just happened to find a good deal on Budweiser's of late so I went that route this past week, lol.
I'm the opposite - I love college football, been keeping up with it since 1969, lol. I keep up some pro football, though highlights and reports mostly. This pro season seems to be more evened out as opposed to previous years where there were obvious teams that stuck out as the best.Alabama is sentimental fav of mine in college. When we lived in Texas, our apt management personal were from Alabama, a great family... we became best friends and us guys cheered on the Tide on many occasion, lol.But... it looks like Alabama may not hold on to their position too long. They have two or three very tough games yet to play and at this point, it doesn't look to promising. But this is college, so you really never know who is gonna upset who in any given week, lol.
Well, ok, sounded like fun anyway, regardless of the small crowd, so that's good. Yeah, pictures will be nice. And I may even get to them some day, haha! Yeah, I'm way behind in my watchlist.Well, it was very nice here weather-wise; so I sat on the porch, had a couple beers and handed out candy. My ol lady went to the laundry mat and the youngest son (16) was gonna go out with friends, but they didn't show up, so he was my backup, lol.So it was a pretty good evening in all.
I live on Bayonet Ct., and I go to Monterey Peninsula College. Trying to get a job for Geek Squad at Best Buy, here in Marina.
Thank you for accepting. Yep, the more the merrier. So how did your costume party go? What was your attire?
I live on the Marina side of Fort Ord, actually.I love it in this area, so beautiful.
