Turns out my xbox hates silent hill. Soooo... no guide I guess. It also hates Skyrim. Maybe it just hates games that start with the letter "S"? Ugh.

A work in progress atm, I'll update with each mystery I find and every side quest I beat.

      Overview:
      -Estimated Achievement Difficulty: 5/10
      -Offline: 1000 (1000 points)
      -Online: 00 (1000 points)
-Approximate time to 1000: ?? hours
-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 3
      -Number of missable achievements: Lots
      -Glitched achievements: 0
-Do cheat codes disable achievements? N/A
      -Does difficulty affect achievements? Yes

~Hello AH, your pal Mortikie here to help you through the foggy streets of Silent Hill as you hunt for those achievements. Rusty combat aside, this game has been pretty good so far and luckily, after you beat the side quests the game shouldn't take that long to beat so getting the different endings won't be that much of a grind.

1st Playthrough: I would suggest switching the difficulty to easy and the puzzle difficulty to hard. You will want to do every side quest, find every mystery and go for the 'bad' endings since it will be easier to kill the enemies. Make sure you choose the negative options during cutscenes (It'll be obvious) and kill the enemies that you incapacitate. At the end of the game you can either spare or kill the boss, choose one then reload and do the other.

2nd Playthrough: Play through the game on hard, avoid killing any monsters and aim for the good ending. Spare/kill the boss, reload, choose the other option and bam, time for the cleanup.

3rd: Play on easy, go for any achievements you may have missed (Killing 25 enemies with pistol/shotgun, incapacitate but not kill 20 enemies, etc) and do the 'Digging up the Past' sidequest for the Surprise! ending.

      ~SIDEQUESTS~

      All Points Bulletin
Start: Get hit by one of the patrol cars driving around Silent Hill
Finish: Go to the police station (there is a hole in the side) and enter these into the dispatcher:
      D375
      C466
      B557
      A648

      Bird Cage
1st Cage: From the hole in the Police Station's wall, go straight across the street then turn right. On your left at the end of the street is a yard you can enter. Go up onto the porch and free the bird.
2nd Cage: Corner of Brite St. and Landale Ave, up against the Bank.

      Stolen Goods:
Start: Eventually you will have to go up a fire escape and climb through a window to progress. In this apartment, exit out into the hallway then head upstairs. The door on your right will have a 'Threatening Letter' on it. Go through this door, into the bedroom and move the bed. Move the bed and pick up the items to start the quest.
Finish: The Locket and Watch go into the other room on the third floor, the Bank goes into the room on the second floor (Not the one you were you climbed through the window) and the War Medal goes into the room on the bottom floor. If you want, you can go back upstairs to the thief's room and get a new outfit.

      Silent Alarm
WARNING: You MUST kill the enemies which may affect your ending!
Start: Enter the bank and go to the bottom floor, once you try to open the safety deposit box the alarm will go off you will have to fight 5 waves of enemies.
      Wave 1: Screamer
      Wave 2: 2 Screamers
      Wave 3: Screamer and Brawler
      Wave 4: 2 Brawlers
Wave 5: Screamer, Brawler, and Stabber
Finish: After each wave you will have to go down and collect your reward from the vault to start the next wave. Once wave 5 is done collect your reward and be on your way.

      ~Work in progress~

Warning: This guide DOES contain spoilers.

Although most of the achievements are missable, it's a very easy 100%. The hardest achievement is beating the game on Zealot, but if you've already done the main game on Zealot or Hardcore then this will be simple. It is very easy to get all of the achievements in a single playthrough.

      1oCLiGJhbC9HCRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzMzAAAAThe Betrayal and The Sacrifice04CLiGJhbC9ACRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzM0AAAA
Story related - You unlock these after completing Chapters 1 and 2.

      0ICLiGJhbC9CCRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzM2AAAAThe Veteran - 50GS

Beat the game on Zealot. Save ammo and play it safe. Good luck!

The missable achievements are in the order that they will appear in.

      0ICLiGJhbC81CRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzNBAAAAGrind House - 20GS
You'll enter a room with large grinders right after you pass the first store and will be attacked by several Necromorphs. Just stand near the opening to the grinders, wait for some to get close, use stasis, then push them into the grinders. It might be easier to kill off some of them before attempting this so you don't get hit while you push around a frozen Necromorph.

      04CLiGJhbC9NCRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzM5AAAAKing of the Hill - 20GS
Shortly after the grinders you will come to a room with a large platform in the middle. A dying team mate will be calling for you to come up. Once you reach the platform there will be a computer you must use to begin opening the doors and you will be attacked by several waves of Necromorphs while they open. You must stay on the platform until the achievement pops. Easiest way to do this is to stand in between the computers with your back on the railing since no Necromorphs climb up the sides.

      0oCLiGJhbC9BCRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzM1AAAAShip Shape - 20GS
You must kill the gunship in 30 seconds.

There will be a save point just before this battle so if you mess up just reload from the last checkpoint. Once you enter the room run to the left and around the boxes. There will be a red canister there. Use TK to throw it at the ship then grab another canister that is sitting on the right side of the door you came out of. Once both of those are used there will be a re-loadable dispenser on the left side wall. Keep shooting canisters at the ship until it goes down.

If the achievement doesn't pop then reload your save and try again.

      0oCLiGJhbC9MCRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzM4AAAAPeng Me Again - 20GS

This is actually much easier to find than the Peng in the main game. You will be going through the hospital where Isaac escaped from. Once you reach the observation room (There will be a man hitting the glass window in front of you) you will have to go down the elevator, pass the office room on your left and continue down the hall. On your right will be a door you can go through to enter the shower room. Go to the back of the room and on the right will be a small room with Peng.

      0YCLiGJhbC9DCRsFG1lTWURGL2FjaC8wLzM3AAAARemember the Alamo - 20GS

You will need to shoot 4 fuses to open the airlock at the end of the game. Before the doors open you need to kill 16 Necromorphs. Easiest way to do this is to shoot 3 of the locks then keep going until the achievement pops. If you mess up just reload the last save (right outside the room) and try again. The achievement will pop the moment you kill your 16th Necromorph.

I still remember a time where my friend and I would be talking about RvB and no one else had a clue. Now people are asking me if I've heard of RvB or, better yet, Achievement Hunter.

Anyway, sitting in reception out here in Fort Lewis, Washington. The climate change is still something I need to get used to and quick. What they call 'summer' here (People are walking around in jackets and long sleeves! That's not summer!) is almost over and I dread what fall and winter will be like. I hate the cold.

As for Video Guides, I do not have the equipment to do any, but would be more than happy to help anyone make one.

I just got my video equipment set up(I think) The quality I am putting out is not super high definition but I think it does ok. So if you need someone to do a AH video, or have any good ideas for achievements to get I would totally be glad to do the video.

I'd go for that tower in my city for sure. It's got 3/2 meters wide walls of stone, stands 71,5 m tall, you can see all surroundings quite clearly from the top, and there's only one narrow passage with LOTS of stairs up. Two people can't stand next to each other there. The best chance the zombie's got is to CLIMB up the walls, and if one tries that I'll shoot that motherfucker DOWN.

      ... I'd probably be living off the zombie corpses, tho ^^;
