    • emotional nothingness

      Navi7

i'll keep this brief (though it will probably still be my longest blog)

It feels like my emotions have dissipated over the years. Now it is to the point where there are none left. Only logic. Happiness, sadness, excitement, even fear and anger all gone. replaced with pure logic.

I remember being super excited and hyped for Army of 2, now I don't feel any excitement. Instead simply whats so good about it. No actual emotions just thoughts along the lines of well it should be entertaining because of such and such reason.

Last year when I visted my grandma she told me and my brother she would get us any thing we wanted as long as it was under $100 as a gift. But we couldn't tell our relatives as they would try and stop her. Shortly after she had a heart attack. I felt no need to go to the hospital even though it would get me out of school. Then a week later she died. When I heard the only thing I thought of was "looks like I won't be getting that gift". No sadness that she was dead, or anything along those lines, simply the logic of how it would directly affect me.

When people do thing that should make me angry if anything it makes me even calmer. A lot of times when people get angry at me I tend to ask them calmly why they are so angry. With my dad that usually pisses him off even more. Thats not to say I don't get "angryish" at all. I don't experience emotion angry, just logical anger. I usually call it frustration. Almost all the time it is because the pieces of the puzzle don't fit together even though it should. (thats metaphorically speaking.)

Emotional fear is also seemingly non-existent. While while logical fear still exists. I have a fear of heights, but none of the darkness, and the thought of something lurking in the shadows. In fact I have gone to great lengths to test this. I went for a walk in my backyard (which is 5 acres of untamed dense forest, with anything from deer, to coyote, to the occasional cougar, and bears.) It is because of this that I was asking if dead space was scary, and then asked about what scary games were. Haven't found one that even makes my heart beat faster. I just seeing it as being in a game and seperate from me.

I used to not like to look at it when (even on tv) they cut open flesh, in seeing something like a needle going in under the skin. Now I just see those things and think "it's just flesh"

I can't even really have an intimate relationship with someone. It just doesn't seem right. I've tried to get close and "feel/care for others" but I feel nothing. I enjoy my solitude more.

Seeing as I see everything so logically I don't like or dislike it. It simply is. I don't have these things to hold me back or push me forward. I see things clearly and logically, but seeing emotions in others is interesting.

I've got a new online name i've been using lately. Normal I use WhiteFang or something close to that, (i only use navi7 here, and if i could change it i would) but my new name i use it PhoenixAssassin. I really like it and i've made a psn using that, and plan to switch my gamertag to that as well

turok's online is so much fun, but theres only 1 person ive found to provide a challenge. i've given up looking for better people. now i just play with unfavorable odds. even that isnt working. i just finished playing me vs 3 people. i won 25-6 it was very fun and the biggest challenge ive had in a long time but it still isnt as challenging as it should be. i need to add more people against me.

also those people i added were the top players (aside from me) in public games i had played before switching to private games

if you have turok add me

a while ago i made this video

      youtube.com/watch?v=AvWe-ycbMJA

i think i made it in January or February based on the games shown. and now i am thinking of making a "sequel" of sorts, but not sure what approach to take without doing the same thing with just more games. (if i used all my ps3/360 games it would be nearly 30)

      any and all ideas welcome

YAY! i finally found an equal in turok. well not quite, but he does provide a challenge so it close enough. are skill level is so close. there are tons of really close matches. i still manage to pull through and win..most of the time.

i bought the 360 version just to try to find someone to challenge me so it's cool that i finally found someone who can do just that.

I WISH I could be with Michael on my birthday... You seem to forget that he's away in college and we can only see each other on the weekends. I will get to see him on Saturday, when I celebrate my birthday. (And take the SATs...)

I saw last week's episode of Heroes! Holy crap! NOBODY died that was killed in the last season! (Nobody is an exaggeration.) It's turning into a soap drama! And what's with Jessica/Niki suddenly being called Tracey? And why is Nathan the only person who can see that white-haired dude?!

What would you say if I were to get a small tattoo? XP

Why was it so imperative to work at a retail outlet? Even Michael can't imagine you working at a place like Kohls!

No, I didn't watch Heroes. Michael wants to watch it with me, so now I have to record it so that when he comes home on some weekends, we can watch it together. I only know that Nathan didn't stay dead. I do NOT want to know anything else.

    • NortyBits

That's totally awesome that you have a job! Kohls just seems like such a social place to work! Wowza! I don't think Friday after you get off of work would work, because I am leaving to go visit Michael up at the UW sometime in the early afternoon. Any other ideas for a day to meet?
How do you get from work to home, and vice versa? Do you drive?

0.o; Wait... You didn't graduate yet?! Then why aren't you attending school anymore to make up the credits?! So you're technically gunna graduate with me and the class of 2009? That'd be so cool! And I've never seen you use a smiley face when talking to me! I like it!

Sure! I'd love to give John Doe a try! Would you be able to burn it to a DVD disk, or would I have to watch it on my laptop?

And geez your room must have been a total disaster! How could you stand to sleep in there?! Aren't you afraid the ghosts of the souls who perished in your mess would haunt you? Spoooooky!

I turn 18 soon! In October! Hurray!!!

And YES! I'm spastic for perverted things and sexual innuendos! Bwah ha ha! XD

*nod nod* All interesting thoughts. Ugh... School is teh suck.

Oh! I have Mr. Callero for College Writing! And guess what! He showed the class a slide show of a few of his students last year, and you were in it! (I got a chuckle out of it!) He says that, with the student's permission, he makes fun of them. He compares their faces to faces of icons/movie stars! I can't remember who you were compared to, though... Do you remember that?

I bet you poster is truly epic! And I know that smaller images just can't do real-life images any justice!

I took that personality test! I think it's a very accurate test! Wowza! Here a few details that I really relate to:

"Sensitive, caring, patient, and conscientious, ISFJs can take time to warm up to new ideas and people. Painstakingly accurate and methodical when working with facts and details, ISFJs are patient with follow-through tasks. They tend to take commitments and deadlines very seriously, have excellent memories and are especially good at remembering details pertaining to people. They are patient listeners, eager to help people in real and practical ways. Quiet, private and reserved at first, but once they make a connection they are exceptionally loyal, generous and devoted. ISFJs are down-to-earth and realistic people and use practical judgment in making decisions and lend stability through their excellent commonsense perspective. ISFJs are modest, serious and hardworking and highly supportive of friends and colleagues."

      "ISFJs Tend To Be:

      • Sensitive to others’ perspectives; conscientious
      • Organized and able to remember and manage lots of details
      • Hard working; quick to help
      • Practical, realistic & efficient; adept at executing tasks with precision
      • Dependable & likely to take commitments & deadlines seriously
      • Focused; able to concentrate for long periods of time alone"

This shows you why I act the way I do around you! When I make a connection with someone, anyone, I become quite friendly and loyal! I'm a naturally caring person! ^o^

Dearest Navi, nobody just does things because they feel like it. There's always a reason we do the things we do, and they are rooted in our basic needs. That website is just reviewing all that psychology stuff I already learned. Part of your nature is that you don't THINK anyone understands you. It's quite simple. Or maybe you're all angst-ridden because of your age. It's probably just that! XD

*laugh* If only you knew! I'm so much more intuitive than you give me credit for! I understand that everybody is born selfish. That's the most basic human nature, other than to survive. Though the two go hand-in-hand. You don't think I've had my fair share of hurt from "friends"? Gosh... My middle school years were the darkest of my life... Everything that could go wrong, did. That's how Michael and I really connect. We had a hard early-life. What sets us, (you and I), apart is how we decide to act with the knowledge that everybody is selfish. You chose to act cynical. I'm optimistic.
