As I work my way through the RT Podcasts I find that I've missed so much of this community. I was reminiscing about RvBTO, and looking at all the friends I made there and RT Philly. I feel exactly like Steven did... and that was 9 months ago.
I have to say that in Podcast 240-ish, someone made a wonderful point. Before RT made such an enormous amount of content, we had to entertain ourselves between RvB episodes, and ultimately that was what made us come so closely together. LFTO, anyone? Mysterious Blue Guy?
I have to say, I honestly do think a huge reason why I've slightly abandoned this site is my lack of a videogame console. The closest thing I have is my phone; I've downloaded a GBC emulator to re-play Pokemon yellow. (PS...If anyone knows how to trade pokemon to yourself in an emulated game, I'm all ears. I don't want to catch a wild Gengar. Somehow that line is too far past the "I'm cheating" line, even though I totally gave myself a million yen at badge 6). This is a huge deal because so much of the content of this site is so based on the new games, consoles, and news.
Besides the random "Let's Play" or "How To With..." I feel soooooooo behind, which I am. None of this is bad, it just is, and I see exactly why RT needs to be in the now. I'm just not there, and I think that's a huge reason I'm not here. I'm working on it. What about you?
