So yeah...haven't posted in a while. Wow I really need to get overhere more often. Anyway....Hi everyone. How's life? Anything good going on? I just got back from a Monkee's concert where I ran into the amazing and lovely SailorTweek and sirNARVY. It was....awesome and amazing (both the concert and meeting those two fantastic peoples)
So yeah....the kid goes back to school in two weeks and then maybe MAYBE I'll have some more time over here. I hope.

Like, I like Costplay. I've done Cosplay, and I get that most anime/video games don't help women not wear next to nothing for their character. But when someone takes a normal character (I.E. Chewbacca) and goes "I'm going to be SEXY" Chewbacca, so what they do is put on a fuzzy bikini and a pair of fuzzy boots and go "I'm Chewbacca" I just want to....gah...seriously? SERIOUSLY? This was your idea? To wear a bikini and call yourself that character?
I don't get it. I seriously don't get it. It's bad enough that the anime and gaming industry makes (for the most part) look pretty much redonkulous, and totally unrealistic, but then you go ahead and do THAT? *headTARDIS*
I just...*ugh* Sorry...annoyed at something I saw. But it makes me sad that women who do serious Cosplay are being compared to "models" who seriously have nothing better to do then to dress in next to nothing and go "Look at me I'm *blank* only...sexified!" Honestly those are the type of girls that give the girls who are doing it for the love of the game or the love of the character a bad name.
Now I'm not saying if you're dressing as a character that does where next to nothing, you're doing something wrong. What I'm saying is if you take a character and "sexyfy" it by removing pieces or throwing on a fuzzy bikini and calling yourself "Chewbacca" then you're an idiot.
Just the way I feel.
