    • RIP Monty Oum

Sad to hear about the passing of Monty. Condolences go out to his family and friends.

I remember seeing Haloid back in middle school, and thought it was amazing. And when Red vs Blue had that first episode with amazing CG action, I was pretty happy to hear that Monty was the one behind it. It was pretty great to see him making progress and becoming bigger. It was sort of inspiring to see the level of resolve he put into his work and how far it got him. Hearing him on the podcast, his work habits and his hobbies, you could really tell he loved doing what he did.

I guess knowing all this is what made me feel so taken aback when I heard the news. That and the fact that he was 33 years young.

Rest in Peace, Monty. An inspiration to many of us.

3 years since my last post. Well to provide an update, I recently graduated from USC this past spring. Next year I will be attending pharmacy school. I've been accepted to several schools, but I don't know know where I'll be yet. Could be Buffalo or right here in Southern California.

But time sure does fly by. I can't believe I've held onto this account for 9 years. I had no idea RT would become so massive over the years. Makes me regret not being more active in the community.

Nevertheless, if there's one thing that hasn't changed, it's my love for RT. I haven't quite caught onto their newer stuff, but I still religiously listen to the podcast everyweek. It's really the personalities that keep me hooked. Hearing Joel and Geoff back on the podcast this week was great. It's nice that the company's gotten so big, but I sort of miss the "smaller RT". The older podcasts with Burnie, Geoff, Joel, and Gus are still my favorite.

Anyways. Enough ranting. Don't know when I'll be writing in here again. But let's hope that it'll be on a positive note.

    • Burnie at USC?

Couple of days ago Burnie posted that he will be at USC while he is in LA. Anyone know where he's appearing for and what those tickets are? I tried tweeting him but he to no avail.

After listening to the podcast and how much success Burnie had with the Fitbit, I actually decided to go out any buy myself one and I love it. The only downside is that the bastards decided to release a new model as soon as I got mine. Anyways, who else here decided to buy one?

    • Dead Week

Finals week at school. They call it dead week for a reason. Everyone's pretty much braindead because they're set on studying. Other than the free food that USC gives out during dead week, its pretty much a living hell. I always tell myself that I should avoid procrastination, but always comes crashing down on me anyways in the end. So far, I have only one final left. I didn't do so hot on my other ones, so I'm going to give this one all I got. Hopefully my GPA will still be standing in the end. Glad I'm not pre-med. Wouldn't have stand a chance. Anyways off to studying I go. Wish me luck. :)

    • Delay on My Signed Recollection DVD :(

So apparently my package is taking WAY longer than expected. I foolishly autofilled in my mailing address, and it put in the wrong zip code. So now its severely delayed, making me really sad. My biggest fear is that they'll accidentally ship it to the wrong house, and that person will steal my precious signed copy DVD. :( On the other hand its probably doing me some good not having that DVD in my possession right now. School exams are absolutely overwhelming this week. With the temptation of having all the Recreation episodes right next to me, I would probably never get anything done. Anyways, fingers crossed for my DVD to arrive without any sort of trouble. :)

    • Signed Red vs Blue: Recollection DVD!

I've always wanted Red vs Blue on DVD. But it always seemed a bit pricey for me, considering I'm just a college student. But when I saw that RT was selling signed copies of Recollection, I just had to get my hands on a copy. It was even more expensive than the regular price, but to have some of the coolest people sign it was totally worth the cash, even though I'll be eating grass for the next two weeks. :) Can't wait till it arrives.

    • My First Entry

After having an RT account for so long and being a huge fan of RvB, I'm a bit ashamed that I never got in the act of taking part of the community or personalizing my profile. So I figured now would be a good time to start haha.

Nothing else much to add here, but that I just watched the new trailer and found that it exceeded my expectations by far. A lot of people were complaining that the new season wouldn't focus on the original cast. That kind of made me facepalm because that would imply that they believe that RT is dumb enough to make a whole season of RvB without including the Red and Blue characters. And if that wasn't enough to convince them, I guess they should take a look at this. If that doesn't convince them then I don't know what will.

Anyways, I hope I can stay a lot more active. Keep me accountable, people. :D
