Again i pay a visit to this site wondering where my 10 dollars disappeared to. Amazingly i remember my login and password on the first try. I have dozens of alerts and hundreds of things to catch up on.

My pigtailed avatar from my old Live account is disturbing me by peeking from the corner of the screen. I think ill retreat to safety now.

I got an email today thanking me for giving them money. It was from Roosterteeth. I forgot all about this place. Come to find out I've been a member for 2.5 years. smiley6.gif My profile was horribly out of date. I looked at my favorite tv shows and wondered why I ever watched them. I've since moved back to Hawaii, where both my computer and 360 have laid to rest. I will miss them, R.I.P.

Hi! How have you people been doing? Really? I don't care, lets talk about someone who matters...Me.

I have barely been on all summer. Why, mainly because computer is chronically ill. Whether it be malicious virus, a loose wire in the power cord, hard drive crashing, or the new power source shorting out due to water, there is always something wrong the thing. Even now the damn thing isn't working right. At least I have power now. I spliced the power cord from the new source, onto the one with the loose wire yesterday. (tis be a laptop)

      My summer was fun-filled. Let's see I:
      1. Flooded the house, twice, in two days in late June(power cord shorted out)
      2. Almost got kicked out of the house. (see above)
      3. Banned of the Xbox till I turned 18 and Xbox Live cancelled.
      4. Began painting the house since we scrapped the carpet.
      5. Turned 18, birthday present $500 and the freedom to whatever I want as long as it's legal and I pull my weight around the house.
      6. Still painting. (not very fun)
      7. Bought a 24" flat screen tv for my room. (the box tv kind, not the flat panel kind)
      8. Opened bank accounts, waiting for credit card. (Need my xbox Live)
      9. Still painting. (give me a break, I'm a one man crew)

More later, just found out the clocks in here are five minutes slow.... fuck

It's been awhile. My karma here is shot to sh--. I was once a +32 but that is now just a fond yet disturbing memory. I still have lots o' modpoints, though I could have sworn they were in the hundreds when I last left....haxxor -_-. It also figures that as soon as I return to the site I get spammed by some random friend request. theKlepto I be talking about you.

I've been "busy" doing stuff. According to my previous Cap'n's logs I was bitchin about finals and a computer crash. Finals are over, I did fairly well, and my computer works....sorta. I'll gloat my grades some other time, the stupid site is down. I've been done with school since the first week of May so I've kept myself busy playing video games, patching a rock wall, pulling weeds, painting rooms, swimming in my pool. (Guess which of those were done of Free Will...). I also discovered Something T Do In El Paso! Dear God I found a reason to leave to house! Rollerskating. Sure sounds kinda lame but it's better than staying home and playing with your invisible friends all day (Xbox Live).

Wow I thought I would have rambled mindlessly forever but it seems we are all caught up. I turn 18 July 26. woo

Hello fictional people of the internet. I've decided you are all mindless drones pasting together random words and calling them "journals." OK, so not really.

I've been awfully busy with multiple papers, speeches and stories to read and write. My workload is insane when I think about it, so I try to shut that part of my brain down as soon as I stop working. So unfortunately I couldn't think off any journals cuz I was tapped out.

Right now, For English, I have a short story critical analysis due thursday, a poem C.A. due next week thursday, and a drama/play C.A due the week after that. Not to mention I have to read these things and study for tests on them.

For my short story class, I have to read 2 John Steinbeck novels, give a group presentation on it, and a test on both.

Speech - I have to put together a speech to give on the 21st as my final and a final take home test to do.

History is my lax class, watch civil war vids, and take the final on either May 2nd, or 4th.

My only time to have fun is the weekend and I spend that playing Halo 2 and Ghost recon 2. Which reminds me that my account expires the 19th so I need to come up with a new name. (Yay I get to play newbies again!)

My computer crashed on me last week and despite all my attempts to fix it, I believe it is brain dead and I will be needing a new hard drive. It's currently on life support. It can still run simple tasks like turn on, and play silent vids (sound drivers won't install). I would make it a slave drive to format it but I don't have the resources to do that and a comp repair place probably charges as much as a new harddrive. I'd rather buy a new, larger drive. Damn, I won't be able to watch Episode 54 cuz of this. KAHN!

This weekend I'm applying for jobs so i can have on for the summer, and be able to buy some of the new games like splinter cell, brothers in arms, a year sub to XBOX Live, and afford a new 40-60gb harddrive (old one is 30gb).

Later drones, see you in a few weeks.

      Weekend Recap

I meant to post this last night, but I fell asleep. I was gonna post it monday, but i was too lazy. Anyways, on with it.

Ghost Recon 2, Halo 2, Manny was MIA, watch movies, forgot to watch Johnny Zero (wish I had TiVo), and late night paper writing. I'll be so releaved (that doesn't look right, my brain has turned to mush) when I finally do not have to worry about that damn research paper. We at least convinced him to knock it down to 6 pages. I currently have five.

I watched SAW. Cool movie, I thought it was just gonna be lots of blood and gore but the plot line was immersive ass well. If you haven't, check it out.
I finally watch The Return of the King. Another great movie but I still liked the two towers better. My favorite part: "Abandon your posts! Flee for your lives!" then Gandalf smacked him around like that bitch owed him money.
Man On Fire. Great flic. Bitter sweet ending.

Played more Halo 2 last night. Standby cheaters galore. I'm starting to lose interest in the game because of them. Can't wait for those damn patches.

I just noticed that I've been a member of this site for five months. How wonderful.

      >
      >This is the poem:
      >
Around the corner I have a friend,
      >
In this great city that has no end,
      >
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
      >
And before I know it, a year is gone.
      >
And I never see my old friends face,
      >
For life is a swift and terrible race,
      >
He knows I like him just as well,
      >
As in the days when I rang his bell.
      >
And he rang mine but we were younger then,
      >
And now we are busy, tired men.
      >
Tired of playing to make a name.
      >
"Tomorrow" I say! "I will call on Jim
      >
Just to show that I'm thinking of him."
      >
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
      >
And distance between us grows and grows.
      >
Around the corner, yet miles away,
      >
"Here's a telegram sir," "Jim died today."
      >
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
      >
Around the corner, a vanished friend.
      >
Remember to always say what you mean.
      >
If you love someone, tell them.
      >
Don't be afraid to express yourself.
      >
Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you.
      >
Because when you decide that it is the right time it might
      >
      be too late.
      >
Seize the day. Never have regrets.
      >
And most importantly, stay close to your friends
      >
and family, for they have helped
      >
make you the person that you are today.
      >

      >You must send this on in 3 hours after reading the letter to 10 other people. If you do this, you will receive unbelievably good luck in love. The person that you are most attracted to will soon return to you. If you do not, bad luck will rear its ugly head at you.
      THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

I hate this stupid crap. Never, ever send me a fucking chainletter.

one of those movies that surprised me. was very cute and very entertaining... tho the 2nd one was not as good.
have you seen Equilibrium? if not, might i rec it... keeping in mind they did not have a huge budget to film it; it was still a pretty decent film with a mix of Matrix/1984/"enter name of typical utopian society gone wrong movie here"
ok. must remove self from computer.
