Meow! How is everyone, I'm sorry to inform you all, but Rebecca is feeling rather lazy, so you're going to have to deal with the waffling of a mad man! Well mad cat technically because I'm actully Rebecca's pet cat, she's ever so nice to me I must admit! She makes me tea, get's me cans of tuna, all the things a cat would want in an owner =D

Now come with me on a journey that will strech your mind and take your imagination to the very limits of reality! That's right we're going to go on a mystical trip of comradship and chivialry, through my mind to answer the question to everything. The sacred question is

      WHEN SHOULD ONE ADD MILK?!?

<insert dramatic music and sound of thunder>

This quesiton has plagued people for centuries! Never knowing when someone should add milk to their tea, at the beginning or 12 minutes in? Who knows? It's just one of those things that's impossible to understand, like birds, What are birds? We just don't know

Well I know what birds are, they a nommy snack for a growing cat like myself, but that's beside the point! We have a very scientific question to answer here and I know just the man to answer it!

      Introducing....

      Barry the half penguin

Barry: Why yes, it's rather obvious when one should add milk. You must add it after (i+3x) where x is a number that only exists in an ever fluxuating loops of crazyness in Daniel's mind. Once you've managed to cross over into the plains of complexity, you'll be able to brew the perfect cup of tea!

Now you may ask yourself, who the hell is this Daniel fellow? To be honest I don't know, he's some crazy person that Rebecca hangs out with. I don't like this , she should be spending more time with her cat! I mean I can't pour myself, the great cat king, a saucer of milk now, can I?

Oh yes I think I forgot to mention I'm also the King of the Great and Noble Cat Kingdom, it's a rather nice place, I must admit! you should visit it sometime! We have lots of cool things to do....

      Boo-ba-doo-ba-doop!

Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring

Sorry I need to get this, it's my

      Banana phone!!!

*sigh* sorry about that, it was hello kitty, she needed to know where the keys for the courtyard were in Castle Catington! She's such a forgetful little thing, I must admit! but she is one lovely cat =D MEOW!

But that's beside the point, back to the question in hand:

      WHEN SHOULD ONE ADD MILK?!?

<insert dramatic music and sound of thunder>

Well the answer is simple really, you just add the milk at the very....

<we interupt this journal to kidnap the cat. The secret can not be realised! If you wish to see this feline again bring 33 Golden Salmon to windsor castle>

      <journal bot activated>

Hello, I am journal bot. I am here to finish the journal in place of the Cat King...

      Bleep Bloop, smiley10.gif

      #VALUE?

<due to the nonsense generator overloading the journal bot is unable to continue, in addition to this it has also created a purple monkey wearing a green top hat in the middle of berlin>

      RAWR! I think that's everything!

Meep, if this has made any sense to you, tell me and then go and see a Doctor, I think it's for the best if you do.... =P

The answer is add it at the beginning :P

And finally a song about another nommy looking treat, I'm hoping Rebecca will get me, her cat [link]

      All the best

      Hello everybody =]

I went to see Avenue Q on the 21st of september with my best friend, I had such a good time, it is so good, I would recommend it to you all! It was very funny, and we also got to move five rows forward for free! We also made some rather epic brownies, and did some rather epic procrastination.

Also, I am now in University! I have been here for a week now, and have been having such a great time, but I now have freshers flu (which has to be done, if you do not have this, you are not a proper student), but I am sure that can be solved with lie-ins and chocolate. I start lectures on monday (with my £47 text book!), but all the fun still continues. So, I have to apoligise in advance if I am not on as much as I used to be, and if replies are rather delayed. I will either be nursing a hangover, or doing work I am afraid! I shall try to make sure I do so as soon as possible though, I do enjoy talking to all the wonderful people on here =D

I am afriad one has no more interesting slightly interesting news. How is everybody? Well I hope?

      Named: the UK's deadliest biscuit*

A research company has calculated the biscuit most likely to cause someone an injury during a tea or coffee break.

The custard cream was found to be the UK's most dangerous snack, on the basis of something called the Biscuit Injury Threat Evaluation.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the research was carried out by Mindlab International at the request of the chocolate biscuit bar Rocky. Mike Driver, Marketing Director for Rocky said: "We commissioned this study after learning how many biscuit related injuries are treated by doctors each year."

Accidents have included people poking themselves in the eye with a biscuit, falling off a chair while reaching for the tin, sustaining burns after dunking a biscuit in scalding tea, and being hit by fragments flying through the air.

Other people have reported choking on crumbs and damaging a tooth or filling on a particularly hard biscuit. One unlucky person ended up stuck in wet concrete after wading in to pick up a stray biscuit.

Mindlab International director Dr David Lewis explained the background to the research.

"We tested the physical properties of 15 popular types of biscuits," he said, "along with aspects of their consumption such as 'dunkability' and crumb dispersal."

According to Mindlab's calculations, here is the full list of the UK's riskiest biscuits, together with their 'danger' rating:
      Custard Cream 5.64
      Cookie 4.34
      Chocolate Biscuit Bar 4.12
      Wafer 3.74
      Rich Tea 3.45
      Bourbon 3.44
      Oat Biscuit 3.31
      Digestive 3.14
      Ginger Nut 2.99
      Shortbread 2.90
      Caramel Shortcake 2.76
      Nice Biscuit 2.27
      Iced Biscuits/Party Rings 2.16
      Chocolate Finger 1.38
      Jaffa Cakes 1.16

      Isn't that just fantastic?! XD

In other news, I have been up to quite a bit getting my Uni stuff sorted. I got my results back, and got into Brighton to do Mathematics which I am happy about. I leave on the 26th of september, and my course starts on the 28th.

Also, I have visited, and been visited by my awesome friend, and I have a great time on both counts! We had an epic day trip in London, which included visits to the National Gallery, St. James' Park, and The Tate. We also made some rather super gingerbread men at my house, as well as watching films and being darn silly (which has to be done)!

Well, I shall be off =] I do hope everyone is well!

...My Lovely People Muffins =] How are we all today?

Here is a long overdue update on my boring little life, as the last journal was rather outdated indeed (which I have been told)!

All the exams finished now, with the results on the 20th of this month, which I am not looking forward to, as it will shape the rest of my life. Panic has now started to settle in. I had my leavers ball, it was really good and I enjoyed it very much. There was a lot of good music, dancing and drunkeness, as well as fireworks over the lake (but as there is no such thing as a good photo of me, I'm afraid there will not be any). And going to MacDonalds at half one in the morning when it finshed was also a bit of a laugh =]

I have been out for a few day trips here and there, went to Windsor (the Queen wasn't in) which was nice, and then to Portsmouth for some sea views and fish and chips, like any good English person! I also went to Brighton (again, I know I love it!) and brought a dress with ruffles =]

One also had my day of insanity with my epically awesome friend at my house, and then on monday (the 10th) I went to his for another day of madness =] I had a very fun time, watching many films (good old Spiderman, MIB, Pan's Labyrinth, Aladdin and The Holy Grail) and playing more lego Indiana Jones than should be possible! Got a trip to London soon which I am very much looking forward to!

Anyway, I shall try and update again when something interesting happens in my life =] Hope you all are ok and well!

    • Well Well Well...

      Ranna

...What have we here? We have a very boring person who has not updated her journal since April! I think the reason for this is because nothing has occured to give her a reason to update. But one shall do so anyway =]

I am in the middle of my exam period, I have had two Maths exams and a Chemistry exam so far, and am due to have two History exams, two more Maths, two more Chemistry and one General Studies. And then all shall be over, which is rather exciting. I then have my leavers ball on the 19th, which should be amazing, as we are getting the ministry of sound DJ's, which is apparently a good thing I am told.

I do not have a great deal of plans for the summer; I am seeing a good friend of mine for a day of absolute insanity which should be fun. Another trip to Brighton is planned, and I shall also be working alot to get a fair amount of money for Uni. I few of my friends Birthday's are coming up also, so should be doing what young people do best and partying.

Well, I have nothing else more to say. I hope you are all well and hope you all have a good summer =]

    • Well well well...

I though I must update this, seeming as it was over four months ago since I last did! I have been a very busy bee lately, and I do apologise for not being on very often, especially to people I very often used to converse with.

Not many interesting things have happened, but firstly I got my exam results back. Some were good, some were not so good, and some I just do not care about.

I have now decided I am going to The University of Brighton to do my Maths degree. Yes people, MATHS!

I have been to a few partys, as its the time everyone in my year in turning 18. They are great fun, though I usually end up not sleeping and going to work the next day, which is not a very pleasant experience. Though Im sure everyone has done it!

It is the easter break now, though the term "break" is quite misleading, in the sense that it shall not be a break and I need to do a great deal of revision and homework. Though I have been neglecting that, going out places instead. I went to London on Wednesday (8th) with my boyfriend to meet up with a very good friend of mine, though I ended up getting lost and left the poor guy waiting there for two hours. It was a good day though. I am also planning to go to Brighton next week for (another) day trip.

Anyway, I have now run out of things to say, Im sure I will think of more at a later date. I Hope everyone is ok, I am trying to keep up with all your journals, so bare with me =]

      Bye!

It was my 18th Birthday yesterday. It was Rather fun. On saturday I had a small gathering of friends over, that was fun. Especially the part when we had this:
      n671583666_1198138_180.jpg
Yes people, that is a pie dish full of ice cream, brownies, cookies, cream and chocolate sauce.

I got some very odd presents including some cat ears. Oh, and a lot of wine and chocolate. So, I may be drunk and fat pretty soon.

      How has everyone been?

Oh, we went to Lazer Quest on friday too for my Boy friends 18th, it was very fun. I must admit I was pretty bad at it, but I was not too awfull.

Anyway, I have nothing else to really say. Byee! XD

Two weeks till my 18th Birthday! I will be able to legally do anything! =] Just thought I would tell you all.

I went to see Feeder last night. It was really good. Loud, hot and sweaty =] All you want in a good gig. Well, good music helps too.

I went to a friends 18th the other weekend, that was good. It was formal attire, so that meant pretty dresses! Always a good time when you are wearing pretty dresses.

Anyway, I now have no more to say, so shall be quiet =]

How are you all? I have actually had a rather fun week this week.

On Friday (03rd) I gave blood again. That was good, I managed to get another one of my poor friends to do it too, so I am rather proud of him for doing it (I know, it sounds cheesy but what the hell!). I did go into a small amount of shock apparently, but ohwell! I'm still going to do it again!

On Wednesday (08th), I went to a comedy gig, to see a comedian called Tim Minchin. It was brilliant, with his stand up as well as his songs being fantastic. Made me giggle alot. (even though I do all the time anyway) Heres one of his songs

On Thursday (09th) I went out for a friends 18th, that was fun =] Had a meal, and he got rather twozzled (crazy English word for drunk) which was rather amusing I must say.

Yes, that is a fun week for me! Very sad, I know.

Sadly, I have to do alot more college work recently, seeming as I am resitting three modules to get my grades up. Fun fun! Should be worth it in the end though (Hopefully).

I have no more to say, so I shall be quiet! Byeee!

I been recovering from a mild stroke I suffered back in May. Making good progress. Just have some speech (comprehension) issues to deal with, but that's coming along too.

Send me a comment some time, could use the company. Tis good therapy for me to do some online communication with peeps. For real! My speech therapist has implored me to partake. :)

Thankyou, it seems to have been received well on Deviant Art so far so hopefully it'll gain momentum from there.

Maths, at the very worst you'll be either a teacher or an accountant, and both are something the world needs right now, and at best you may some day be a professor... much better choice than me but I suck at maths.

My degree was fun, and I learned a lot about design and the industry while simultaneously totally failing to get with any of the cute girls on the course, and now can't look at anything without analysing the poor use of font or thinking that it could be laid out better, but the recession hit as soon as I graduated so all the jobs I'd been looking at magically vanished and I ended up working in construction. Currently trying to get a web-comic about urban dragons off the ground in what little spare time I have while taking a part-time course in architecture (mainly because my Dad wants to get me involved in his company) as well as my continuing construction labour.

Where you studying? (if that's not too invasive a question, I mean. I was at Solent in Southampton)

    • DocRossim

Ah, fair enough. I seem to be one of only two people in the NF that have even heard of the show, it would have been good to have found a third smiley4.gif

Incidentally: How the hell do you balance fine art with chem and maths?
Still, I'm one to talk, I did biology, chemistry and physics then went and did a design studies degree...

      Hey.
School is going great because the year is almost here. I probably have a year left and then i get my BA in History. Life is good.
The weather was once warm, but then got ugly with rain. It will hopefully warm up so that i can prepare for summer.
I hope you enjoy the rest of school. Good Luck! smiley1.gif

      Dun dun DUN!

The solution: Make three clones of yourself, make each of them take a full load of classes, and you'll be done in one year. And you won't even have to do any of the work yourself!
