      California Vacation 2007

Just returned from California for my brother's wedding....great time and great weather....however three events reminded me that living in Cali is more of a bad dream:

      1. Gasoline was $3.50 a gallon and on the rise to $4.00
      2. Housing prices....the house next door to my bro was selling for $567,000
      3. People, people everywhere and no one worried about #1 or #2.

After numerous rounds of "We don't know if Osama is still alive," Osama himself decided to send Ted Kennedy a note in his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game.

Kennedy opened the note, which appeared to contain a single line of coded message: 370HSSV-0773H.

Kennedy was baffled, so he E-mailed it to John Kerry. Kerry and his aides had no clue either, so they sent it to the FBI. No one could solve it at the FBI, so it went to the CIA, then to the NSA. With no clue as to its meaning, the FBI finally asked Marine Corps Intelligence for help.

Within a few seconds, the Marines cabled back with this reply: "Tell Kennedy he is holding the message upside down."

      I'm hearing voices

      Question-o-the-day:

Why is it that every famous person with an Ipod or any MP3 player publishes their playlists to the public?

Heck, if I had a news conference every time I listened to the voices in my head, there would be no time for anything else.

      European Vacation 2006

Yeah I know it's been awhile....... But you should have known better with a name like RatBastard.

Anyway, just returned from Germany for a week of vacation. I have to hand it to the Germans for being not only efficient, but tolerant. Stay with me while I give you a little math class:

The exchange rate while I was there was 1 Euro = $1.30. Therefore, $100.00 would get me 76.94 Euro.
Gas (Benzin) was 1.30 Euro/liter. However, 3.88 liters = 1 gallon. Therefore, 5.04 Euros buys 1 gallon. Now for the sticker shock:

When you apply the exchange rate, you would pay $6.56 per gallon of gas. So all you hippie, pinko, democrat retards that want to run off to Europe.....my advise to you is to bring a big wallet.

Tis the season ..... to be ($$) Happy!!

Ok people. Look at the news. For everyone who thinks "The economy is bad", well start running for the hills.

Take a look and tell me the economy is still rotten:

      www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000087&sid=aSHKhbAeRnkA

For those that can't follow a link (maybe I have found the real solution), the weekend sales for both store and online was $27.8 billion (that's a 'B' as in Bush is Bad). It's the best since 1999. So, answer me this you doom-n-gloomers: Why is the economy so bad??

If you can not go into your local Wal-Mart and buy a brand new T.V. (23 inch flat screen) for $88, then you deserve to be poor. Your decisions have you looking at everyone else enjoying prosperity.

Oh, I almost forgot, you also think Wal-Mart is evil. Again, I can easily connect the dots.

Here in Atlanta, the Chevy plant in Doraville is to be shut down. Hundreds left unemployed.....are they better off??? Well, if you read the rest of the story, the plant won't shut down until 2008. That's three years from now. 3 years to find another job, improve education, learn a new trade. So, I'll answer my own question: Yes they are (or will be). Those workers will have the opportunity to find other jobs, start other careers, and (better yet) not be chained to a union. Decisions, their decisions will determine their status three years from now.

Unfortunately, those that find better jobs won't get reported. What we will see are those that refuse to take a chance, not try to improve themselves and just sit back and whine about not having enough in unemployment checks to enjoy all this prosperity.

But then again, if your job was to do one task over and over again at the going union wage, three years might not be long enough.

      Pro Gun Control Views

Since you will never hear about this on CNN or "Major Media Outlets", you all should know that Gun Control does work. And I am a firm supporter of Gun Control.

Today in London, England, a police officer was shot and killed while responding to a robery call. Another police officer was shot and wounded.

      edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/11/18/uk.policeshooting/index.html

In 1997, Britian outlawed the private ownership of hand guns. Since then, only the crimminals have guns (basically the only part of British society NOT obeying laws).

So, I know you all are asking the same question: Why do I support Gun Control??? Because the British Government did not institute Gun Control but instead created a monopoly by allowing only crimminals to carry guns. My idea of Gun Control is to allow EVERY citizen to carry handguns. THis way, when a crimminal wants to do crimminal things, he/she/it will now have to think if the intended victim is armed or not.

Trust me, crimminals prey on the weak or easy target. Just the thought of a person 'packing heat' goes farther than the thought of seeing a policeman on every corner.

And by the way, both police officers were female.

And for those liberal, winney-ass, pinko, fairies who think "Guns are baaaad, M-kay" need to read the following link.

      www.theinternetparty.org/commentary/c_s.php?section_type=com&td=20020111164110

Proper Gun Control starts with proper sight picture and ends with a gentle squeezing of the trigger......BANG!

If the Dems say Bush lied, then they lied.....long before Bush and Cheney decided to conquer the world. But like I have been saying about as long as the Democrats have been delusional: Let them talk! Give them the microphone and let them say what they really feel. I'll sit back and watch them lose yet another round of national elections because the only votes they will get are from the looney, radical far left side of the crazy democrats. And there are not enough of them to vote more than once to make the election at least close. And by the way, loosing by 5 milion votes is not a close election.

They have already lost control of the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch and very soon, they will loose the Judicial Branch.

Give them the floor, turn up the volume and enjoy the show!!

      Viva la Frenchies!!!!!

      15 November 2005

      Pulled from www.cnn.com

"We will respond (to the violence) by being firm, by being fair and by being faithful to the values of France,"

"These events bear witness to a deep malaise. It is ... an identity crisis."

      --- President Chirac

Does anyone have quotes from the French way back in 1940 (May 10, 1940) when the Germans invaded France? Or during German occupation 43 days later (June 22, 1940 )?

Truly, I never want to step on a friend and I still consider France an ally. But France has an "identity crisis" based on their president's words. Seems to me they need to find their identity by knocking some heads. Trust me, the only way France ever became "German-free" during WWII was thru force.....either ours or theirs. For those that think France is not being invaded.....we have many more therapy sessions to go.

      Frenchies in the news

In response to the 14th consecutive day of rioting in France, a radio personality in Atlanta decided to take a stand

      "Bring our Minivans home!!!!"

I also heard that Larry Wachs will hold a candle light virgil after the 3,000th burned car. Eric said he will have a hair appointment.

      Political cartoon??

I have a pic in my stash of photos on this. A crude attempt because I can not draw.

Frenchie 1 and Frenchie 2 were watching the fires burn their cars and neighborhoods when the following conversation was spoken:

Frenchie 1: Didn't we let the Ayatollah Khomeini seek asylum while the Shaw was in power in Iran??
      Frenchie 2: Oui....

Frenchie 1: And didn't we allow thousands of them to immigrate to our lands to find better lifes???
      Frenchie 2: Oui....

Frenchie 1: Then WHO is responsible for all this mess!!!??
      Frenchie 2: We....

Maybe if they would pull out their grand-parents photo of WWII, they might realize that the goose-stepping days might not be gone forever....
