The last snowflakes have finally melted. My car was still pretty well encased in an icy snow mixture until yesterday when I went out to get two large onion rings from Burger King because I was absolutely craving some onion rings and hamburgers. Yum :P

For those of you who live under a rock, late last season NASCAR announced that, in an effort to save the teams money, there would be no testing at all NASCAR sanctioned tracks.

We're three races in and the ban hasn't effected the teams' ability to perform and put on a good race. The old track record for Las Vegas was broken several times during qualifying last week and I've enjoyed watching the havoc that plays out in the garage during practice from week to week as teams try to get as much as they can out of their sessions.

What do you guys think about it so far?

How very very silly of me.

After two straight days of 40 to 50 degree rainy weather it snowed last night when no one thought it would. And it snowed hard from 4:30pm till 9pm, but it was no ordinary snow. Oh no, this was some sort of super sticky snow that would accumulate on fire. You'd figure with all the cold water laying around the snow wouldn't stick to anything, but it all came down so fast that it piled up on everything, even powerlines. And it wasn't just the top of the lines either it was all the way around and put the power out around 7:30. Power was restored at noon today and the snow's melting away and made me lol when the snow on the powerlines "slinkied" from the ends of the line to the middle causing the powerlines not to sag anymore and leaving a large pile of snow on the ground right between the two poles.

It was the most snow I've seen in SC since I was 3 (4 to 5 inches) and it was the first snow I've seen in March since I was 5.

Was what the winning post number was in RvB's Mythic Map Pack giveaway. Now I don't play Halo 3 that much since I've lost favor with it ever since CoD4 and TF2 came out and reminded me of what good Multiplayer was supposed to be like, but I'm not one to turn down free stuff, especially when I can turn around and host a similar giveaway of it myself. I expected there to be maybe 20 people posting and the 7777th post would be reached sometime tonight since it started at 1pm on a school day. No way. Dozens if not hundred of people were in on it and post 7777 was reached in an hour I think. I would refresh and post on page 30 and by the time it went through 3 more pages would be posted. It was crazy especially at the end, I swear 10 pages were covered in less than a minute and the site ground down to a halt. I couldn't get through, and posted a dozen pages late. All in all I think I made 30 posts myself and underestimated the huge number of RT D-riders on the site.

"COLLINSVILLE, Illinois - Pranksters in at least three states are messing with electronic road signs meant to warn motorists of possible traffic problems by putting drivers on notice about Nazi zombies and raptors. And highway safety officials aren't amused.

The latest breach came Tuesday during the morning rush hour near Collinsville, Ill., where hackers changed a sign along southbound Interstate 255 to read, "DAILY LANE CLOSURES DUE TO ZOMBIES."

A day earlier in Indiana's Hamilton County, the electronic message on a board in Carmel's construction zone warned drivers of "RAPTORS AHEAD â€' CAUTION."

And signs in Austin, Texas, recently flashed: "NAZI ZOMBIES! RUN!!!" and "ZOMBIES IN AREA! RUN."

Officials in Illinois are concerned the rewritten signs distract motorists from heeding legitimate hazards down the road. The hacked sign on Tuesday originally warned drivers of crews replacing guardrails.

"We understood it was a hoax, but at the same time those boards are there for a reason," said Joe Gasaway, an Illinois Department of Transportation supervisory field engineer. "We don't want (drivers) being distracted by a funny sign.""

Okay, what's your favorite form of Death Metal and what's your favorite band that plays it?

Mine would be old school death metal like early Death, Atheist's first album, or Malevolent Creation. My favorite band from that subgenre would be Obituary.

Ok, since I've gotten back from Ohio not much has happened execpt me getting a phone call Sunday night telling me not to bother coming to work in the morning. Lame. Apparently something went missing that I was supposedly in charge of. But I specifically remember putting those things up. The thing is though I put those things up two weeks ago and was transferred to another job site. In the time I was gone all the material was move by some other guys and they lost it. My boss found out they were missing a week later made his decision, and called me. I tried to explain to him what happened but he said he didn't want to discuss it. "There's nothing to argue about my decision has been made." Well fuck off dude. I'm considering give out his cell number so you guys can spam him with junk txts and such. It's very tempting.

Got back from Ohio last night at precisely 7:37pm. I left at 10:30am so I trimmed an easily nine and a half hour drive down to just nine. Not bad. I stopped just twice on the way back as opposed to at least five times on the way up which resulted in a 10 hour trip. The stops were as follows (for those who give two fucks)
      To:
      Once NC: piss and food
      Once VA: piss and gas
Twice WV: piss gas and food
Once OH: piss gas and food
      From:
      Once WV: gas and food
Once NC: piss gas and food

Note to self: Consider knocking back on liquids for next long-ass trip to balls cold no where.

Ok, I left nice warm 70 degree, rainy, South Carolina for balls cold, snowy-ass, Wadsworth Ohio. Why? I'm starting to wonder too....j/k. I came up to visit some internet buddies that I've know for well over four years now. We met on Halo 2 and headed up a little machinima group called Misfit Productions. One of the guys actually flew in from England to make the trip. I opted to drive rather than fly, again I'm wondering what goes on in my head XD. I started at 3am and arrived at about 1:30 pm. About a 10 and a half hour trip. As soon as I passed the Virginia state line the snow started and didn't let up all the way through WV and southern OH. Lovely. Anyway, we've been having fun and I'm supposed to leave Sunday but if the snow keeps up I could be stranded here til Friday. At least I know I'll have a good time. My only worry is keeping warm. Suggestions?

I don't think changing the yellow line thing will help either, it will just create a new way to crash. I think it should be kept though, because before it things were really crazy, even more so than now. You'd have guys run down there for the whole backstretch and then have to squeeze up just before the turn or wreck, and sometimes they did anyway because there wasn't room. I don't like some of the calls NASCAR has made regarding the yellow line, but I'd say it's a necessary evil.
