Sisie bought it, and for the 360 because a PS3 controller is FREAKING EXPENSIVE and we already had two for the Xbox (among other things). She got the special edition version with its little Chris and the Africa necklace and the Tricell backpack...
I was interested when it came out, but I figured that she'd tell me all about it so when it was like "let's play" I almost didn't expect it (though I KNEW it...which is a strange place to be. I think I figured that you wouldn't play all the game with two people or something.) It's actually really fun. It's like Resident Evil 4 without the crippling difficulty (and I KNOW I'm a freaking coward, but that game is waaaay too hard for me to get through. I got as far as the house where you hole yourself up with Ashley and Luis and he BLEW all the freaking plagas' heads off to reveal the one-hit kills. I ran out of ammo and couldn't go on. But I love Leon so T____T ).
Quick guide to how we play RE5:
-Amateur mode ("For those who enjoy the journey" - darn right!)
-We often appear silly, as we sometimes catch each other in combat (like that time when I got the back of Sheva's head with the rifle, and when they use the combat knives anywhere close to each other, and the stun rod...)
-Chris (with his GIGANTIC ARMS) - because when we play games, we divide them between the pretty men first for me, and the ladies for sisie. Since this has a man and a lady, the division was clear. Also, the fact that I prefer to CONTROL men and sisie prefers playing as the lady characters works out splendidly for us.
-Marksman (I got me a sniper rifle. I also got me some upgrades)
-Girly screaming and running away ("OH GOD IT'S FOLLOWING ME, IT'S FOLLOWING ME" *shoots at point blank with the rifle and misses* *reloads slowly* "AAAH I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THAT!!!")
-FREAKING CHICKENS - chickens always attack Chris. Sisie saw one go for the eyes, then the head, then the knees before I slashed into chicken nuggets
-Possibly competent with cover fire ("CHRIS IS MAD NOW")
-I enjoy throwing grenades too~
-Most deaths by = FREAKING REAPERS - they're freaky bug looking things that are an instant one hit kill when they're NEAR you. And they always show up on narrow walkways. They're deceptively easy to kill but I guess that's why they kill him SO often.
-Sheva - She has fun close combat moves
-Shotgun/Magnum - so she does high close range/group damage (she also got her some upgrades)
-Stun rod - ("That's it!" *whips out the rod* *charges* *PSHAAAW* "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" *notices she got Chris* "OH NO! I'm SO SORRY! I WISH THERE WAS A "sorry I electrocuted you" response!!!" )
-Most deaths by = Chainsaw men. Yeah, the first time I was all "runrunrunrunrunrunrun...huh?" and she ran back to where we're supposed to exit only to be cornered and one-hit-killed while I was hiding. And then again in another chapter when I was supposed to cover her XD (but in my defense he moves REELY fast)
-Proficient with the shotgun and keeping things off my back
Most amusing moments :
-The first time we were sequence killed ("DUDE, that truck hit Chris hard! He flies far for such a big guy")
-Hide 'n Seek with Wesker ("You may complain about how we're cowards, but YOU'RE the one who chose to fight in a freaking LABYRINTH after telling us you could only hang around for 7 minutes")
-When Chris fried himself with a mirror
-When we replayed the first chapter (So, we did that one a lot since you can get a decent amount of money and ammo without too much difficulty. The executioner follows you around after the guys break through the roof of your 'safe house' and while he's not a one hit kill exaclty, he can take all your hps in a single swing. Sisie was usually the one most frequently 'gotten' with this attack since she had the shotgun (and loading can prove fatal). So, this one time I saw him coming up and I was all "Oh no Sisie, you should keep moving because you shouldn't..." *she moved* *I took a shot with the rifle* *Chris slowly reloads* *The executioner swings his axe* *BAM* "Oh...yeah. That. That's EXACTLY what you shouldn't do : D .")
-The time when Chris ran into three exploding traps in a row. RIGHT before I did it, Sisie was all "we should avoid the traps" and I replied something to the effect of "Oh. I found them."
Most hated moments :
-Anything to do with chainsaw men and reapers
-Those plaga-esque things
-Excella scenes in general
-That machine gun Majini wasn't too fun either
So did anyone notice that our fighting styles are sort of contrary to what you would expect the characters to do? XD? Sheva is the one who rushes into combat while I stay around to cover her with the rifle (despite Chris' HUEG arms). To this point we haven't finished, but we're almost done. We've been backtracking a lot to get BSAA emblems and to get monies from the first chapter for upgrades (because we love our weapons and we love it even more when our killing power increases)
(Note: We finished the game last Sunday ((I wrote the original entry before then)) and while it felt like a lot of work at the end, it was a fun game. We're going to go back and get extra stuff and play The Mercenaries.))

Entry from a little while ago. Rather late but...eh.
Things I've learned at school this week:
-I like all the people in Voice and Diction that I was a little sad at before. (I made no mistakes in my first presentation but they marked up their evaluation sheets sooo much that I got a B T___T)
-Apparently I read to fast (Almost every single evaluation sheet I got says that. That, and "I can't believe you don't make mistakes when you go sooo fast D:)
-It was a short week but I still barely ate anything in the cafeteria since it all seemed more repulsive than usual D:! I hope this does not become a re-occuring trend.
-We learned about COLORS in Japanese
-My mind IS paralyzed!!!
We had presentations this week. We read a short story. I did one by Mark Twain, but that was on Tuesday (got me an A-!!). The first day was filled with stories about death (each one had at least one casualty--mine was in a humorous scenario). The second day was full of lols. At least for me. This one girl, very sweet, but likely a little rushed (since she didn't have copies for all), read a story that she got right off of the internet. And what is the internet filled with? Well, the answer to that later.
So she gets up, and she messes up a bit, but she continues reading. I was a little bored at first because the story she picked just isn't very well written. There's nothing but dialogue and very little identification except that these two are brothers. It continues and then when the mother enters to identify the two characters it suddenly hits me what she's reading. SUPERNATURAL FANFICTION. Yes, Supernatural, the show on the CN about two brothers (Sam and Dean) who go around killing ghosts and demons and monsters. She's reading fanfiction...and not very good fanfiction at that (crossdressing and sewing?). I started laughing but no one else noticed and they did their criticism without mention of it. When class came to an end, I went up and asked where she got it. She replied "the internet" (which I had already guessed) and then I asked her if she watched Supernatural. She was perplexed and then I further explained. Long story short (too late) when I walked away she was left with a "You watch this?!?!?" sort of look on her face while I was basically in the humor of "heh she read fanfiction".
Oh, and the little cute Asian girl read something like porn. All and all, an eventful day.
So the Sailor Moon kick continues. I bought basically...all of it online so my obsession could be fed. It's rather pathetic, I know, but it all started when Leene and I were talking about...well, I can't really remember HOW we got onto the topic of Sailor Moon, but I went home one weekend, found most of my old tapes that I bought when I was probably around 11, and the rest is history. I suddenly HAD to see it.
Things I've learned after seeing Sailor Moon again:
-I hate Mamoru/Darien even more now than I did before
-The above reason is why I like Seiya
-Taiki/Sailor Star Maker has the word "uterus" in his attack
-Though the Starlights are ladies, I can only stick with one pronoun and I choose "he" (because there are TOO many girls in that show)
-Luna and Usagi are total cheaters!!! (To be honest, I already knew this, but thought it was more obvious to me this time since there were subtitles.
-Hotaru/Saturn gets very little screen time unless it's in the S series so I find there is not enough material to justify her being my favorite
-I have no favorite D:!?!?
-Leene and I found parallels to ourselves in Sailor Moon!!!
-Lead Crow and Aluminum Siren!!! (I would be Siren because I'm...rather blonde...and she has big wavy hair which is what happens to mine when I don't blow dry it and...she is rather polite which I strive to be ((except for that whole hijacking a plane thing >.<)). Leene would be Crow because she's constantly angry and always a little exasperated to be around Siren XD)
-Chibi Chibi is adorable but with the way she acts, I'm not sure why they suspect her of being a real child
-I've never understood why it is no one EVER identifies the Sailor People as their non Sailory selves until they actually see it...they look EXACTLY the same.
-The subtitles that came with the set I bought are funny. If they deem it unimportant, they won't put up what someone is saying. They also will put later titles ahead of when they're actually supposed to occur which is also amusing yet infuriating (at least I didn't pay that much for it)
I've noticed that April will likely soon draw to a close which means that we're that much closer to the end of the semester. This thought frightens me.

So it's not been real pleasant since Leene and I returned for the Spring Semester. The reasons are as follows:
1) the girl next door
2) see 1
3) THE FOOD
4) see 1
5) Incarnate Word in general
6) see 1
Apparently, there's be quite alot of drama going on in our suite (though I wonder what possessed them to put 6 girls in the same suite in the first place. It can ONLY lead to disaster). Residence Life (the office of EVIL). You would think that the girl next door (hereon referred to as "Ms. Avaricious") would have cooled down somewhat since we haven't all seen each other in over a month. I was horrified to find that it was quite the opposite.
We were gone and Ms. Avaricious had the place all to herself. She stayed over part of or most of winter break to reclaim her lost land. Like all nesting creatures, she settled back in and reestablished her territory. She didn't anticipate that we, the Encroachers, would return in the Spring with our "computers" and our natural supply of "horrible" (It had time to grow!!). Thus she had to find some way of keeping what was her own!! She glared, yelled, screeched, and gnashed her teeth. The epic "battle of the bathroom door" and the "cold war" restarted (though the cold war has lost some of its edge). She also had to think about possible reinforcements, someone to back her up since she realized that there were three of us. Thus she courted the girl across the hall (hereafter referred to as "Blondie") and convinced her that we, the Encroachers, were the evil ones who "tattled" to Residence Life about her. Now, Blondie had sheep-ish tendencies so she was easily enough won over by Ms. Avaricious, which put a more even tilt on the battlefield that is 503.
But there was some hope! A plot was already in the works, devised by Ms. Avaricious in her mad desire to claim more territory for her own (to get away from the Encroachers). She offered a "trade" of sorts with Conspirator Violet, though probably more beacuse there was no one else willing to giving up their lands without a war then her being friendly with the Encroachers. Unfortunately, this switch is still in Congress, so we have to all still wage our territorial wars!
Among the many small annoyances that Ms. Avaricious used to make clear her displeasure in the Encroachers, perhaps the most scathing and incriminating were her loud "phone" conversations. The Encroachers often heard her, as the phone seems to be a tool vital to the continuation of her life, for she uses it more then she eats or puts on her tribal markings called "makeup". She would often speak of her displeasure with the Encroachers for setting free the plague of "ants", being messy, nocturnal, and, of course, for their natural supply of "horrible". She stepped up these efforts when courting Blondie, for she managed to get the other girl to admit to the times when she has heard the Encroachers scheming from across the way.
With this upsetting development, Encroacher Leene felt the need to act, and act she did! She sent a message to the mythical creature, rarely seen, called the "RA", who lived in the next county over. This RA is legally obligated to reply and thus she sent Encroacher Leene a message, designating the time of this secret meeting. Unfortunately for Encroacher Sarah, it was during the time when she had class with The Mad Hatter in the auditorium of death. Encroacher Leene approached the mecca of the RA at the promised time and was admitted into her sanctuary. They conversed, and it was made clear to Leene that due to the scale of the wars that happened in the land of 503, the "gods" of our world, Residence Life, decided that they needed to intervene. It was the RA's responsibility to take care of all the details surrounding this apparent "peace talk", and she sent Leene back to collect information from Encroacher Sakura and Conspirator Violet. It was through this meeting that Leene was made aware of the recent adjourning of Congress, stating that the "room switch" between Ms. Avaricious and Conspirator Violet was approved...though since it is a life form called a "bureaucracy", this trade could not happen until the first week of February.
So the camps are in a temporary cease fire due to the travels of the Encroachers back to their homelands (to resupply on horrible and sanity)...and we wait.
That's a little outdated but I thought that I would share it anyway. They officially switched rooms this week and it's been SOO much better. I'm happy...so happy.

So I try and update things like this every now and again just for grins...I guess. Since It's right in the middle of the semester this would be a good time to evaluate what in the world I've been doing and what I still need to do before December gets here. I've noticed that whenever October hits it's almost like a straight shot to the new year (that's how it feels anyway).
Let's start off with classes (in the order I take them):
Dimensions of Wellness:This is the class where we spend part of our time listening to random anecdotes and going over health related issues before the teacher takes us down all the way to the track (about 500 steps away actually) and we brisk walk/run/jog/mosey around the track halfway in this demented U-shape for about twenty minutes. Then I hurry my tired and glisten-y self over to-
World Religions: I really like this class. It's a lecture style mostly which I prefer since there are soo many people with whom I am not acquainted. The class is exaclty how it sounds. We do homework essay like questions ever weekend and she tests us during the Midterms and Finals. We also have to attend three religious services (not our own) and write about them during the semester...I really need to get on that.
I'm done after that which makes these two days by far less intensive.
Ethics: Bright and early too. I've taken two other classes with this professor and I really love her classes overall. I've been a bit WAAAAH since the start of the semester but I've still managed to do alright so far. I owe it to the fact that I've taken her types of tests before and you really just need to pay attention and do the work outside of class for success. It's a little difficult getting up in the morning...I'll never be a morning person.
Professional and Technical Communication: You would THINK that this class is pretty straightforward and a nice little break between my morning and even ones...but that would be an utter perversion of reality. I guess I'll start with the point of the class itself. As one might think, Professional and Technical Communication is a class where you learn how to write practical things like memos and business letters. That is a fact but the class itself is a whole other experience. For starters, my teacher looks like the Mad Hatter...with the somewhat crazy eyes and the nervous energy and everything. My roommate so eloquently called him that and I realized how much it is true. The man is not only a grammar/spelling/English/MLA fanatic, he is something of a deity in each of these fields. He spends part of the class agreeing with himself or calling out to some random student and asking them if he's right. This gesture is usually answered in one of three ways: the wide-eyed "OMG YOU CALLED ON ME WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!" half jerk of the head, the causal "yes sir", or with laughter. This depends on the student in question. Half of the class is scared silly of the man and the other half laughs about him...to his face. I'm more in the former half and oh how I wish I were under the radar. From day one he outlined that he needs several "class staff" which consists of someone to take assignments, someone to keep worksheets, someone to take attendance and keep it, someone to keep up with the time, and my job which is to be the "class secretary." Why? Because I was an idiot on the first day and I told him I was an English major (most of the class is Comm Arts) and so that could only mean that I'm willing to bring my computer every day and take down everything important (which is nearly the entire content of the class). I have to give him my notes at the end of the semester and I email them to anyone who is absent...............The payoff? There is none, just pain and heartache. I get no extra credit or even a thank you (well there are some nice students). It's a headache but at least I know I have the best notes ever!
The assignments are also a point of contention. He harps on constantly about the "booklet" that is our big end of the year project. Our professor thinks that you should pour your heart and soul into it but we're not even there yet and I seriously have my doubts as to the status of my GPA when this semester ends. He frequently speaks of how it's a pain to get out of bed every morning to come and teach students who know so little about english and how to write. Since going through several drills and examples, he stated in class about how we should all go home and dig out our old "A" papers and cry because we know we didn't deserve the grades beacuse we were terrible writers. Anyway....I've pretty much resigned myself to avoiding his classes unless there is no other way out from here on.
Konbanwa Minasan. Watashi wa Sera Desu. (I wrote it in hiragana andit didn't take)
Does that demonstrate my prowess? Probably not. Really though, I like my Japanese class. I fondly refer to it as the place where my roommate (Reene-senpai) go every other day to have a Japanese lady (our Sensei) yell at us in Japanese. She doesn't really yell so much as she does that overcompensating thing that people do when you have to repeat something several, several times. We had a decently full class at the start of the semester and just in the past few weeks it's dwindled down quite a bit. It's hard, yes, (and it regularly makes my head hurt) but it's not so bad as long as I prepare for quizzes days and days in advance. (we'll see how hard I say it is when I get back my grade on the midterm [possible EPIC FAIL!]).
-End School Rant-
Interesting enough? Probably not. I just needed to get all of that off my head. Thanks for reading if you did. Till next time ^__^.

The return of August always brings about the inevitable return to school (and that's no matter how much I mentally dig my nails into the carpet as I'm dragged out the door so I can do something productive...being mentally and physically active goes against everything I stand for!)
Since it's only a few days away I find that my mind is going back to the usual preparations for the fall (school supplies, running about, staring at the calendar and willing time to stop, the usual). The one good thing is that I'll see my roommate again ^__^!!!
I've done a remarkable amount of nothing this summer and I thought I would use this humble space to outline my various non-accomplishments (so if you have any sense of self-preservation you'll stop reading now)
First: Movies and Games and the Book that I've seen/read/and played (it's actually seen/played/ and read...)
Spiderman 3 (er...I liked it but some parts depressed me)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (again I say er...)
Ratatouille (Super cute)
Shrek the Third (saw it with cousins, much more enjoyable than I was expecting...)
Transformers (Perhaps my favorite of the summer movies I've seen)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (as a fan of the books it was a bit of a disappointment but as a movie I liked it)
I also plan to see (this is only plan... Hairspray, The Bourne Ultimatum, and Stardust before the summer is totally out)
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney (DS) (My sister had it for a long while and I was bored so I started to play it...I love these games officially and especially Edgeworth...)
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice For All (DS) (Maya still irks me and the last case gave me quite a bit of stress...and I really don't like Von Karma for that matter but I still love these games.)
Hotel Dusk (DS) (It's a detective-like story about a guy who used to be a cop but turned into a loser traveling salesman when he quit the force (after shooting his partner and best friend). He goes to this hotel and pokes his nose into everyone's business (and I mean everyone) and he manages to figure out ALL their issues before the night is over (doesn't solve all of them but then what were we expecting?). The ending was a bit...odd and but overall it was a fascinating game)
Final Fantasy XII (PS2) (I bet you're wondering what took so long? I got it when it came out...and then got abruptly lost in the Dalmasca...estersand...westersand? I can't even remember...but I was so frustrated since all the areas looked exactly the same that I stopped playing from December to June. The battle system grew on me but the game was so...boring and the story was littered between hours and HOURS of dungeon crawling that it lost all meaning. Certainly the best looking thing in the series and probably the best I've seen on the PS2 but...arrrgh. I want them to give me the last 90 hours of my life back)
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army (PS2) (Now THAT'S a looong name...It was my sister's game and I played it due to boredom. I really liked it though. It wasn't the strongest story but it kept me interested and I liked collecting the different monster/devil things.)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (I won't give anything away but I was reluctant to read it since I'm truly bummed out that the series is over. When we got the book on Sunday I was resolved to read it before I found out the ending from another source (my sister and mom already knew and I was a bit frantic to NOT learn.) So I read it from about nine that evening to six-thirty the next morning. I'm proud I found out on my own. I loved it like I do all the other books.)
So that marks the end of my current list. I'm too lazy to go upstairs and see what I may or may not have played other than what I've listed but that would just take up more space and require more typing. Either way other than that I've done next to nothing. Well, I did spend one long stint of time writing nonstop and then I lost confidence in what I was writing but I still managed about ninety pages!
More to come eventually! BEWARE! (and thanks for reading ^_^)

I've played all of the Silent Hill games (well not the Play Novel because that never came out in America and Origins has yet to come out but we don't have a PSP so I might have to regretfully miss that one T___T)) I thought that the first three were really great and I've managed to get multiple endings for 2 and 3 (my favorite being the In Water ending for two, that was pretty neat but creepy at the same time). When 4 first came out I played it several, several times but we never managed to buy it. I finally did *yaay* over the weekend and since then I've been immersed in the game, trying to mentally evade my finals. (When I stop obsessing over 4 I WILL go back and get the Dog and UFO endings for 2! I've wanted to see them so badly but just the other week I went RIGHT PAST the doghouse because I was tired T___T)
In talking about the game there are spoilers for the plot and the people who bite it so if you're ever going to be interested in playing The Room and you don't want to be in the know then please do not read on ^____^.
It's been at least a year since I last played 4 so I stated it from the beginning. Silent Hill 4 has always been my favorite of the series even though it's the one that's the most different. (I like the other two almost as much and 3 is my least favorite for two reasons - the train and I thought Heather to be a bit annoying at times) The first part of the game went really smoothly as it always does and the second part...not as smoothly. I was so terrified of it that I only got as far as the Water Prison level for the second time. Wow. I got the "escape" ending and boy was that challenging. It wasn't that the last battle was particularly hard but I was freaking out personally. When you first get down there and you have to use the umbilical cord I was sure that Eileen was going to race toward the big spinny machine of DEATH! Well okay, that goes alright and I have one less place in the inventory for spears. I go up to the first one and lo and behold I use almost ALL of my healing items because I hit the wrong @%(*#%@)*@%# button! Note: I brought 2 ampoules and 2 medical kits and I used the medical kits and one of the ampoules when Henry's health was right at full T_T. So I got my buttons straight and got the 4 spears on the one side of the room. I then go back to Walter's true body and it takes Henry about oh...an eternity to get through them all. Then I go get the other 4, rinse, and repeat. I seem calm at this time but now it's time to get the man-in-the-coat aka my worse nightmare Walter throughout the entire game. Meanwhile I'm yelling "IS IT POSSIBLE TO GO ANY FASTER EILEEN?" at the screen. I had Richard's revolver with +1 round of bullets and the rusty axe...Walter and Henry then stand about 2 feet from each other and shoot each other...multiple times. I'm in too much of a darned hurry because of some lady that I don't even bother fancy dodging or running. I soon run out of bullets so I then chase Walter around the screen with an axe for a few minutes. At this point Eileen's taking one step down the stairs and I'm all "oh noooo I'm gonna get her killed" then I take a few more swipes and Walter starts to fall. At this point, as I've done countless other times in the game with the victim-ghosts, I violently pound X to try to stomp him even though that's not happening. Then it changes and Eileen looks okay so I cheer and get the best ending! I never want to do that again...but I have to to get the other endings...at least in two of them I can just let her go...
First I'll give my gripes about the game. There's no such thing as a perfect game and the flawed ones seem to hold a more special place in my heart *cough* Drakengard*cough*. I guess the first would have to be the item system. You can only hold a limited amount of things and sure, I can go back to the room and just put them in his trunk but that'll cost me at least three loading screens and a haunting in the later part of the game. Another was the lack of weapons other then meelee ones. You only get the pistol and Richard's revolver (unless you've collected all the ammo up to a certain point, I think) and they barely do anything to the monsters, not to mention the ghosts. Each round also takes up one slot of his already non-existent personal item storage. I don't like being in close quarters with the Victim 7+8 monster but I was unwilling on principle to use the gun so I always ended up getting him whacked at least once if I was taking on two of the things at a time. Eileen has to be my third one. I don't hold anything in particular against her, I think she's a pretty nice character for these games. She's not really to blame but still...she's SLOOOW. The first time that I went to the 2nd forest world and Walter came out from the door behind me and started laughing and shooting I ran out for the door as fast as Henry's legs could carry him. I went through and oh WAIT I forgot Eileen oh and here's Walter again aiming at my head at point blank range!!! Thus the forest level is a place of particular terror and frustration for me. Eileen's AI is also about as dumb as it gets and she's constantly getting in Henry's way or else putting herself up as bait for the monsters! I now seriously doubted my ability to get a good ending.
Er it was a little too long for the journal format....so I guess I'll do a part II

So it's been a pretty wild week so far. When I say wild I mean that things have been slightly more chaotic around here then usual. Considering the fact that my roommate and I usually spend our nights sitting around and laughing at Everybody Loves Raymond while doing useless things on the internet, even visiting the library's pretty wild for us.
We live in a TINY room. Perhaps we are mistaken and it is merely a medium sized room but with all our collective crap and the stuff in here already there's barely room to get to the opposite end. We also have six (count 'em, six) doors total. Five of those are on one wall which means that we only have our narrow main space for the beds and the desks. (three closets - all tiny and one teeensy room each for the bathroom and the shower).
We also have to share our bathroom and shower-room with the two young ladies across the way, in the only next door room. At the beginning of the year they seemed pretty nice and we'd say hi and stuff but apparently they saved up all their weird for the second semester. They leave their stuff in the tiny shower holder, strange people we don't know visit and take a shower...oh and they have yelling fights and one of the girls usually has over her boyfriend at all hours and he does things like shaving in our tiny bathroom. He also brought his kid once. They fight too and not just in the bathroom but all over the dorm. The RA doesn't know what the heck to do to help us and she tells us to just talk to them about it ourselves or to tell on them more often X-x. Like we want to tick off the people who have access to my contacts and our toothbrushes. Anyway I came back last Sunday evening at around nine and my roommate, Leene, was gone to the world. She got back at around three and the bathroom door was locked from the inside (you can lock it on the outside and on the inside both ways) and no one was in their room. So we waited, thinking "they'll be back" and a couple of hours pass. Leene and I finally had enough and we tried our RA who lives literally right by us. She was not in and the one downstairs doesn't answer either. It wasn't really our day. We even went to the library (EXCITEMENT) to use the restroom there.
We finally had enough around twelve and we decided to try the RA downstairs one last time before we would try and get ahold of someone by phone. (I mean we have to use the restroom sometime and I had to take out my contacts if I hoped to get sleep). There was some suspicious noise but she opened the door and didn't seem too upset that we got her up to open a door. So she arrived a few minutes later and she knocked on their door loud enough to make it seem like she was just going to kick the darn thing down. The problem was solved and we were (marginally) happy.
So I get up today and what happens? THE FREAKING BATHROOM DOOR IS LOCKED AGAIN!!! This time I slipped a note under the door (a polite one despite my desire to write "For the LOVE OF @()%#@*$#(EW UNLOCK THE @)(R%*#%*# DOOR") and they opened it this afternoon. If I wake up on Thursday and it's locked again I think Leene and I will just destroy the door.
All in all, pretty wild.

Since it is the new year already I suppose I should change it from November. So I've been doing a whole lot of nothing for the past month or so and now that going back to school is just around the corner I feel that I didn't spend enough time doing nothing. Back to my matchbox of a room, it's a good thing that my roommate and I get along so well. It's pretty fun so I can't complain about much other then the relative size of the room in comparison to the amount of junk that I've acquired over the years that I just CAN'T live without. I'm suddenly reminded of Spaceballs...anyway it's like that with my entire family, Step-father aside. Just a couple of weeks ago we went to Dallas for an overnight stay and you might have thought we were going for a week with the amount of stuff we packed. I'm not sure if it's over prepared or just wasteful.
So...the new year. Yeah I like the way the number seven looks better then six but I bet I still write 2006 for the next three months. I got Samurai Warriors 2 and my sister and I have been playing that obsessively since Christmas, though it's died down since she went back to work. I like it soo much better then the first but then there are quite a few more pretty boys and I'm a sucker for those. Takadatsu Honda had an especially mind-boggling battle insult that's been haunting my mind for days, mainly because of the pure concept of it. I'm so glad that we turned the volume down because with the voice acting in that game I didn't want to hear some guy bellow "I'm going to make an orphan of your soul" right out of nowhere. It's bad enough that it echoes in my mind. Kind of an inside joke now ^_^. (Oh and Happy New Year to anyone who reads this).

And so the end of my first semester at a University is starting (juuust starting) to come to a close. Oh no I started a sentence with and! Oh well, I suppose with 'casual talk' like this it's marginally acceptible. I just know that three months from now I'll replace this entry while shaking my head at the pure audacity of putting and as my first word here. Anyway so for updates I thought I was in terrible debt to my school but it turns out I just have to be in debt to a faction of the state of Texas instead so I can preregister in the middle of the month (Hooray). I also purchased a shiny new PS2 as our old one (we got it as soon as it came out) has not died at least ten flaming, terrible deaths. The new one is so tiny...I also finished Tales of the Abyss and I'm working on FFXII which I have lukewarm feelings about so far. It's pretty...but I haven't done much yet and I keep getting lost in the similar maps. I'm also constantly on the run from the monsters as I've decided that Gamibts suck but I'm just to lazy to issue all those commands and move Vaan around at the same time...I'd also like to know why everyone's blonde...but that's more of a sidenote. So besides that I've just been having another awful bout of writer's block. I currently spend my days trying to get over it and I go to class and look up info about the Electoral College for Workstudy (don't ask). It appears I'm doing quite well. My birthday's just a little over a week away so I will be both happy and sad with the thought of turning 20.

Hmm so I've been ruined by the world of Gundam Wing fanfiction and while I'm sort of ashamed to admit this I feel somewhat brave saying it. I'm not just reading it, which I really haven't done much of, but I'm writing it. Yeah...okay so moving on. My grammar has been terrible as of late. Everytime I try and study up I think I make things worse for overcompensation. ARGH. Oh well, I'll keep working on it till I get better. So as for the summer I really haven't done much of anything. Since buying season four my sister and I do enjoy telling quotes to each other the moment something reminds us of Red vs Blue. Good times. So this is a simple update I think I'll stop before I come up with something more embarassing then GW fanfiction. (seriously, I watched it when I was in middle school in 2000 and I'm just now back to it?)
