And another year of RTX is done. Whoa.
A lot of things happened this year. Some good some bad. I'm sure that if anyone was on social media on Friday then you might have seen the internet in all its glory. But we prevailed. We moved on, and we did our job.
This was my fourth RTX, and my fourth RTX as a Guardian. It'll be weird going to London as an attendee instead of a Guardian, but new experiences are good!
It never fails that I have an absolute blast at RTX. At this point, RTX is 100% about seeing my friends and connecting with new friends! Being able to work as a Guardian let's me give back to my friends so that they can enjoy the convention to the fullest! And to give back to the company that let me make such great friends to begin with!!!
It seems that due to a couple of reasons, next year is going to be different. I'm not sure of what differences, but it's clear that there will be some changes. Not to say these are bad changes by any means, because sometimes change can be good! I'm just hoping that every decision that was made and that will be made are holding our community standards and our individual standards! We must first help ourselves to help others!
I love everyone that I work with as a Guardian, I love all the new attendees I meet, and I love my group of ladies that I continue to room with for each RTX!
Already can't wait for RTX 2018! <3 Hope to see everyone's lovely faces next year! And even if your particular lovely face won't be at RTX 2018, I still love you!
