Just... yes. All different kinds of yes.
This is making parts of my body happy I wasn't aware could feel happiness.

I need to update my journals more often, and by that I mean make more of them. Hmm... uh...
My bass amp died. That sucks. It's quite annoying. I've pretty much all but forgotten what my bass sounds like through an amp now, and I don't have the money to replace it.
My new computer I finished building in November still works wonderfully. It has its days where it is kind of twitchy, but that's usually solved by a restart, and probably because I leave the thing on for two weeks at a time. All I really want for it is another stick of RAM and a new graphics card, and the graphics card is probably gonna come first.
*looks around for other topics*....
.................... . . . . . . . ......uh....
No, that's pretty much it. I have nothing else to talk about. Nothing else worth noting has happened that I can recall. So... yeah...

I love my new computer. I love it so much.
Cooler Master Storm Scout Case
ASUS M4N75T Motherboard
Corsair TX750 v2 750w PSU
AMD Phenom II x6 1075T 3.0 GHz CPU
G.SKILL 4gb RAM (Only one stick right now)
SAMSUNG 1tb 7200 RPM SATA 3 Hard Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium
EVGA GeForce 9500GT 1gb DDR2 (sadly Newegg stopped carrying it or I would have ordered another for SLI)
This computer is amazing. The only game it lags in is S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, and at that, only because of my graphics card.
As a true performance test I ran 3 clients of Borderlands, and still got a framerate of 20+ in ALL OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME.
On top of that, we recently got a new internet service provider, Comcast. It was cheaper than what we had, faster, and doesn't have the downside of NOT FUCKING WORKING FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK. I hate AT&T SO much. I didn't like them BEFORE that issue, and I outright hated them after they told us they couldn't get anyone out to work on our internet for a whole other week. Which would have made at least two weeks without internet reliable enough to try doing fucking ANYTHING with.
I couldn't download anything, my sister couldn't do her online schooling, and I sure as hell couldn't play any games that required the internet.
But our new internet is Comcast, and today it peaked at 2.2 mpbs. Fast enough for me to stream 1080p off YouTube and download a game on Steam. And it is awesome.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and continue loving this computer, and showing my love by playing some games. Probably two at a time.
EDIT: I should also note that I'm working on learning some songs on bass, for starters, Goldenrod City from Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal and other various video game tunes, mostly Mario, Megaman, and Metroid stuff.

So the other day I left my computer on to download something and went to bed.
I woke up, turned my monitor back on, and was greeted by a black screen. Not overly unusual, it's happened before.
However, when I (finally) managed to get my computer to start back up fully, it decided to run a disk consistency check. That I'd never seen before, and skipped it.
I get into Windows to find that my background is the default shitty one, with the HP logo in the corner, a lot of my icons are gone, and the entirety of the My Documents folder has... corrupted?!
WTF computer, the hell is this about?
Come to find out, we had a power surge overnight, and apparently it fried only the documents section of my hard drive, which included a few games I may or may not have bought before but pirated, and the vast majority of my savegames for the vast majority of my games.
So now I'm stuck with two games, (Global Agenda and Unreal Tournament '99 GOTY) neither of which are bad, but I'm missing Jets 'N' Guns real bad.
I'm now stuck with a computer that now takes frequently beyond a dozen attempts to make it even get to Windows, and two pretty good games, but even still, only TWO games. My 360 is dead, my N64 has three games I don't feel like playing, and the SNES/NES combo device in the living room has shitty controllers, though we did just order better ones, now I just need to get a hold of Super Mario World and possibly Super Mario All-Stars and I'll be a little better off.
The good news is that this means I'll be getting my custom build on Newegg quicker than I initially thought, however the two sets of bad news are that I'm completely without all of My Pictures, (fortunately my music was backed up on my external hard drive, so I at least have that) my various savegames, and several games including but not limited to Homeworld, Jets 'N' Guns, Crimsonland, and others. The OTHER bad news is that we don't have the money available to buy this build of mine.
Ugh. Sometimes life sucks.
