So I'm now a sophomore in the Electrical Engineering program here at the University of Arkansas...and I can't decide whether or not I want to change my major. I really want to do something with like video or photo editing, but that is such a hard field to get a foot into. I want job stability. I just don't know what to do.

Also of note is the fact that one of my old journal entries said that I wanted to make a podcast theme song with my friends since one of them had a MacBook pro. And now I have one. Who wants to make a theme song now?

So I was originally stoked for doing a Machinima with me and my friends. But we have yet to do it. And I really want to right now. Ugh.

So, I'm not gonna lie, I'm super stoked for the new machinima that me and a few guys are gonna be working on. It's gonna be a blast! So many ideas running through my head right now. Also, now that I've played a little bit with iMovie, I can't wait to do some hardcore editing and such. Still trying to think of a name to use though. Oh well, that will be more of a secondary edit if you ask me. Well, to all of you fans, *cough cough NONE* of my journal entries, toodles!

So me and Brady decided that we wanted to go to some black friday sales at Wal-Mart and BestBuy. Guess what? Worst decision of all fucking time. It's called black friday for a reason; it turns your soul into frozen bits of charcoal. I bought 1 movie and 1 season of House. But still, we drove to fayetteville and waited in below freezing weather for more than an hour and a half. Plus, I was gonna buy 2 seasons of House, but the bitch decided that one of them wasn't on sale (even though it was CLEARLY IN THE ON SALE SECTION), so that was even more aggravating. But you know what? I don't even care anymore. I'm just gonna chill and watch my movie and be merry. And know that I will NEVER go to another black friday again.

All of these journal entries I'm making a very few and far between. Hence the title. Pretty simplistic, eh? Anyways, Reach came out finally. So addicted to that game (no surprise). I would venture to say that this is their most compelling campaign yet. And the multiplayer! I was a little worried that with the new armor abilities and things, it would be hard to get used to the game again. But now that I think about it, it was probably like when Halo 3 was about to come out and we were all worried about how the equipment was going to affect gameplay. I haven't had much of a chance to mess with Forge yet, but when I finally do, I'm sure it'll be pretty quick to get used to. Finally firefight. They upped the anty on that one so much. Honestly, ODST's firefight got real boring real fast for me, but this has a lot more replay value to it. And now that I've gotten my nerd on, it's time to go read me a Dresden Files book. See you all later you steadfast readers.

A month from yesterday was a month from Reach's release. That is a swell looking game. I am very excited to get my hands on every piece of it; Forge, Campaign, Firefight, and Multiplayer. Hopefully all of my friends will keep playing that game with me for a while, because I can stay on it for MONTHS. I really wanted to get the Reach console, but I just can't justify buying that when I already have an xbox. Dang. Atm, I'm playing Battlefield Bad Company 2. Makes me think of Halo meets Call of Duty, which is a fun mix. Well that's all for now for all of you oh so interested readers.

So the other day, I got the new psychological thriller Alan Wake. I haven't heard much about it, but boy was that game fun. I would dare say that it has become one of my new favorite games. The story is engrossing, the graphics are excellent, and the gameplay (to me) is top notch. A nice surprise. Next on the list; Red Dead Redemption?

It feels odd to make journal entries when I know that there is only one friend on my list, and even he will most likely not read it. It's kinda depressing, but it gives me something to do on some days...So I was listening to the drunk tank today, and me and my friends got on the subject of making a podcast theme song. It sounds like a good idea, especially when one of them has a macbook pro with a rooster sound effect.
