These are the things that made me laugh this weekend....
      Funny sad
Alek (six year old nephew): I'll race you upstairs!
      Ian: I'm not going upstairs.
Alek: Oh are you going outside to smoke?
Ian: Why would I do that?
      Me: Uncle Ian doesn't smoke.
      Alek: Why not? It's fun.

Ouch. I think it's time Daddy quit. Or at least had a talk with him about why you shouldn't.

But until then, a soclicitaion of advice. I've started going to the gym again. Found that when I shut up the whiny committee member (long story) living in my head I do enjoy exercsing.

Right now I'm doing weight loss areobix, tread mill, stationary bike, want to try the stair case to no where too, no weight training as of yet.

So what I'm asking of you is help me put together a playlist. Need something to get me moving and get speed up the hear rate. I want your input!

I realized recently that I've played WoW consistently longer than I have any other game, excluding tetris. My reasoning of why, made sense to some of the other issues in my life. I need a challenge. If there is no challenge I get bored and drop it.
Take school for example. My favorite classes weren't the biology classes that I slept through, it was the math courses that I hated and struggled through, the Organic and Bio Chemisty class that I managed to pull a B in. (I hate benzene rings) With work, if I'm not constantly challenged I get bored and want to find another job. Hence my desire to leave the repetative laboratory scene and start my own buisness.
Games have always been that way too. I could play tetris for hours, it was always a new puzzle and a new challenge. Mario bros. I would play until I beat them and then it just wasn't fun any more. Then I played Sid Meyers Pirates, that kept me busy for a month then I beat the game and quit playing.
WoW though is a constant challenge. I play 2 characters with a 3rd in the works. There is a different mindset to playing each character and it's different class. Even though I run the same quests, how it gets accomplished is very different. I think this game will hold my attention for a while longer, I have 5 more classes to play.

Now I wonder what else is my life I've set up to be challenging just to feel fulfilled.

Beyond being a classic Elizabeth Taylor movie, it's the term for a time in a relationship where one or both partners wonder if staying with this person is the right thing to do.
I've been with my husband, as a couple, for 9 years. It seems that every 3 years I re-evaluate myself and our relationship. The last two times I've been through this it was hard on the relationship and we almost didn't survive. I couldn't seemed to be satisfied by anything he did. And I took out my frustrations on him. But we worked on it, I let go of unrealistic expectations, and we compromised. Year seven he had an issue with being attracted to one of his co-workers. (I don't know if he still has the Journals up or not.) We worked through it and got married.
So this is year 9. They say forwarned is forarmed. I would rather not repeat the mistakes of the past. Here is to nine, mostly wonderful years, and the wish for many more.

She got picked up tonight. And she has to wait until the judge gets there tomorrow to find out her bail. Ciminally Negligent Homicide. Let's see if her life is as disruppted and altered as ours was. I hope they find out at school. I hope her "reputations" is forever damaged. I hope she looks ugly in orange. I hope she is scared and cries for her mommy and daddy. I hope she finally feels remorse for her stupid decisions. I hope her parents have to pay out the nose. I hope she understand that YES it was HER FAULT! Learn from this mistake, teach others to keep them from making the same mistake. If it saves ONE life it was worth it.

And Yes, had I been in her position I would feel remorse. I would WANT to be punished. The guilt I place on myself is worse than any punishment they could ever foist off on me. Maybe then I could forgive myself. If my brother had been in this position I would wish the same on him too. I see no remorse from her. I want her perfect life to crumble before her eyes.

Forgive me, I'm a bit drunk.

Edit:Sorry, I was a bit drunk and not thinking clearly. My father-in-law was killed by a 16yr old driver who wasn't paying attention. He stopped on in Motorcycle for a bus (Lane next to the bus) a car stopped behind him. The 16yr old didn't stop. She was doing other illegal things at the time too. There might be more on Neutral Milk's past journals too.

I grew up eating vegetables, and liking them. I understand that not everyone does.

In the world of today that kids are obese and lawsuits blaming the fastfood companies for people getting fat are being filed, people blame the ads on TV and the TV itself for these problems. We've fined cigarette companies for targeting kids in their ads, all these fast food compaies offer free toys to kids. The idea is to get them hooked now.

Well, I haven't seen the Jolly Green Giant or sprout on TV in a while. Why don't we get them back on! And parents, just because YOU don't like doesn't mean your kids won't like it. Let's target our kids about eating healthy the RIGHT way now. Ketchup is no longer a vegetable in my house!

Haven't been around for a while . Buisness is kinda slow, what with the fuel lords not wanting to drop a little profit to help out the country some.

Normal everyday bullshit levels are the same, just try to stay one step ahead of the wave so as to not be engulfed. smiley8.gif

Yeah.. Memoirs was ended at a strange place.. the book had so much more in it. Oh well, considering that the movie was already as long as it was it would have been hard to cram the rest in. Kelly Scientific does have me on file.. they just don't stumble onto many jobs that I'm suited for. That would be the issue. I've got an interview with Micron on Tuesday.. we'll see how that goes.

So you're leaving for sure then? Or you're just looking because you're close to the 1 year mark?

Just a splash of Jager, more for color than anything. Same goes for the banana. We'll see if the fudge floats, I'd rather not use a tootsie roll.

You wouldn't think equal parts Jager, Goldshclagger, Bailey's and Butterscotch would taste good would you? It makes a shot that tastes like an oatmeal cookie. I'm hoping for the same synergistic affect with the turd shot.

    • sailera

That's good that you know about the movie. I thought it was a little weird. I think the way that it ends is everyone on Earth has a choice to stay or leave and from the looks of things everyone except Asuka and Shinji choose to leave.. or be swept away, if you prefer that term. I was a little lost when I watched it.

I think instead of Cider and Ale for St. Georges Day it would be more likely to be lager and chips. Unfortunately.

It'd not all bad though I suppose, it could have been sherry and scones. woo! Party!
